Congrats to those waiting for dolls! The aesthetic of this company is so cool! I really like how Purple and Foxy/Loxy can use their tails as stands, and the cyclops cat 'Peanut' is just awesome.

 

I REALLY want to order in this June (because of peanut )...I want a tan Thorn and a pink skin Vine

 

So I heard the former DC sculptor is now working for this company, it gets me wondering if their resin color is similar to DC/DZ's ? Dream Valley's msd boy body is all I have been searching for and it would open a lot of possibilities in hybriding !

 

I really really hope so. They seem to have a similar palette range after all. Maybe Angelesque will have samples soon and post comparisons.

 

going to wait for some owner photos, but i think the 43cm body would be great for a minifee hybrid....

Purple is a gift for my sister so I don't have any photos of him but below are a couple of photos of Foxy/Loxy and the three armed body. I've used it as a hybrid with my Flower and Junior head and the resin match looks pretty perfect! Now just to blush to match the face up

 

She is lovely!! I also have a Mizi.W head and it matches well with Dollzone skin color, so that might mean DZ/DC resin color is somewhat similar to Dream Valley. What a relief

 

Has anyone ordered Alison? I'm not usually drawn to this style, but she strikes me as unusually lovely. I'm imagining her with dark green wings...

 

Anyone have any info on how nicely they pose? I'm really considering getting the B4-04 body but I'd like to know how they pose first

 

There still aren't many owner pics around but I'll keep an eye here! I'm really interested in getting this male body for my SOOM Lig... I wonder if anyone could test out some hybrids with other MSD heads soon!

 

I finally got around to taking out my Clorise (and Purple) from the box. They pose BEAUTIFULLY! Seriously, I never thought I'd be able to pose a resin doll, but these guys are amazing from the get go. I actually forgot I had left my Purple standing on my desk...and he stayed put (granted his tail helps).

But my Clorise can stand all on her own. Oh and I LOVE how her wings are strung so you can pose those too!

I'm just not too keen on her arms (the biceps are thinner than her forearms) and it didn't seem that way from the previews... Oh and the pointy nipples. XD

Though the more I pose her and play around, the more I don't mind those minor issues.

 

I was wondering if the arm on the back of the body B4-03 is held on by magnet or string

 

@Kaze it's strung like the other arms but also has jointed fingers.

My faerie is in pink skin - it's more of an ivory with a slight pink tone. I'll try to take some pictures in daylight but no guarantee I can do it soon! *sighs at busy life*

just found out that you can buy that super cute body of purple's...and i found out after event is over... i really wanted peanut..

 

I'm so excited for the fae girl body. Soom is the only company I've seen that has resin wings. i'm sorry to hear about her biceps, though. Maybe you can mod it? Personally, I like the way the breasts are sculpted. I'm picky about my breasts... I like the pointy nipples and the shape. I'm not a fan of the...bar maiden boobs unless it fits my character. But that's the beauty of this hobby!

 

New dolls and event out! I adore the event dolls! I am trying to figure out if I can get the doll I want, plus body. It would qualify me for one of the event dolls. Not sure about funds right now though. Keeping my fingers crossed I can work it out.

 

NOOO I'm so upset, I just ordered Vine but I want the new boy body with the arm so much more It combines what I LOVED about the silence body with the beautiful sculpting of the Vine body... I should have just waited

You can ask them to change body tipe in your order, I think it's not a problem for them if you ordered resently

 

@Ozero Eh, I've thought about it since and I actually don't mind buying them both. Dream Valley is one of my favorite companies now and I like continuing to support them. No lie, I actually really love Elvish's face too.

Also it was like a month ago already and I'd feel too bad changing it now

 

I was just innocently browsing Legend Dolls for wigs and bam! I saw the July event for this company.
I think Elvish has stolen my heart.

 

This is the first company where I've wanted all of their dolls! I'm dying to buy them.

 

I'm trying to decide whether I should go for the promo they have right now. I do have quite a few other dolls incoming (including one on layaway), so I don't want to overspend. Otoh, it seems the waiting time is quite long? Expected arrival maybe not until Nov/Dec, if I read this thread correctly from previous sales.

What do we know about their posing?

 

I caved and ordered a Vine, even though I'm already waiting on two dolls and will be jumping on the next Summerbird pre-order (and then I'm *done* for realsies! >>. I'm curious how the posing is compared with a DC Kid, so when it gets here (which could evidently be a long ways off), I plan on doing a side by side comparison.

 

What is the difference between Chloris and Allison? Why is there like a 20 dollar difference.

 

What site are you on? On their own website the price seems to the the same. Maybe ask the reseller for the reason?

Guys!!! I hate to double post but I just got told I would get 200 for my birthday and so I decided to go for my dream doll and get either Allison or a Cloris. I wish I had a side by side of the two heads. Does anyone know where/how I can get that

I've seen people getting them after about 3-4 months, usually closer to 4.
Which is still quite a wait, but I feel like it's comparatively pretty reasonable!

Has anyone gotten a chance to play with their dolls? I want to get a Chloris and I'm curious on how they pose and stand. Pros and cons. Are the wings magnetic or strung? Any other information.

Hello everyone! I am going to order msd body from Dream Valley and I'd like to know how long did it takes to wait? I am worried since you had to wait for 4-6 month from Dollzone and Dollchateau and Dream Valley is their sister company

 

@silent The most recent arrivals appear to happening within 3-4 months. Also Dream Valley isn't a sister company of DZ and DC. The sculptors just use to work for them, which is why the style is similar.

 

I want to hybrid a dream valley body in pink skin with supiadoll or Dollzone may be. Has anybody a comparison of the color?

 

@Seidenraupe I don't have a Supiadoll to compare, but here's a photo comparison of DollZone pink (left) and DV pink (right).

Sorry for the bad lighting, the weather is poor today. The DV resin looks more yellow than DZ, but hybrids are very much down to personal preference and I would think the difference could be reduced depending on the faceup.

 

Ah thank you so much. That means I will choose my Supiadoll head because it is yellower than my dollzone head. That helps a lot

How does the arm behave with clothing? That was my biggest worry when I ordered mine...

 

It's not bad as long as the outfit has some room in back. The third arm is attached just below the base of the neck. Anything stretchy or not too fitted for Minifees will work. Anna Miranda is currently borrowing some Guppy Kisses outfits from my Minifee, Pinky.
