Huff, I'm so antsy about getting Irvin, since it's been way too long. Godspeed FDQ! Shoot him out of a cannon, pointed towards California, and I'll catch him!

just got my tracking # for Irwin!!!!!! (now the wait for when Yo Megu will be shipped).

That's kind of disappointing. The last Irvin update said International orders would be shipping first, but it looks like its US orders going first. Ah well, soon enough I suppose.

 

I guess I will just be surprised when mine shows up - I never seem to get any emails that Pat sends out

 

well, I won my Maki from we love dolls and he hasn't shipped to Debra...so yeah, three months. It will be Sunday anyway.

 

Y'know I'm starting to think that my FCS boy will be here before my little Kira. Hopefully that won't be the case.

When do you guys think we should expect the FCS if we ordered one?

 

FCS takes about 3 months on average form the time ordered.

 

@Globalsea- MIKEY wrote early Oct/late Sept on my sheet. Hopefully they won't take that long.

 

Sleep_Pattern, my tracking only shows "billing information received" - it doesn't indicate whether Felaion (my Irvin) has been placed with UPS yet. It may well be that they're all still at FDQ HQ.

Has anyone gotten or heard news of their Yo-SD 4 sisters doll from Dolpa NY 3? I've been getting news on Irwin, but not on the little one.

 

No Yo news here I also sent Volks a question last week about adding to my order and they never responded)

 

Sigh, I want my little girl! All her big sisters are waiting...

My boy should be home Wednesday!

 

Darn! I asked for different shipping. I'll probably have to wait a little longer. Awww! I want my boy to be home now.

 

I said I would not buy another doll, since I ordered my LAST, but somehow Irvin just won me over with those eyes, now I will have 2 dolls coming and my doll bench is full guess some are going to be sitting on some laps until I can find a bigger bench

 

OMG! I got my Irvin today! I didn't even get an official shipping notice, but I'm so excited that he's here. It was a wonderful surprise to come home to. Yay!

 

I still haven't recieved an invoice for shipping. I'm leaving for vacation next weekend, so should I be worried that he won't come home to me in time?

 

Did anyone else get shipping notices? I had him shipped via USPS and he came today. I wonder if you'll get him in another day or so.

 

Not a peep have I heard Brandon...looks as if all us Yo folks are in the same boat. Guess Volks is just super busy with all the 10th Anniversary events and dolls they've been making for them. I just wish we'd get an update with a revised arrival date. Oh well...I'm sure these little girls will be worth the wait!

I need to get him some new clothes. he thinks he can fill out the SD16s.



anyone notice his toes, I don't have any other SD13 boys to compare to but his feet are very finely sculpted and his little toes curl under slightly. elfin feet?

 

Oh! He's very pretty! I like that dark wig on him. I like the long dark hair on Irvin, but I'm a sucker for long dark hair on boys. :p

^_^ I have yet to post an arrival thread yet, but I might. I really need to take pics of him in his new clothes, too. I doubt my boy will ever wear the default clothes again either. I'm glad I got those sandals though.

 

thanks Alanna214, I will have to dig out red wigs to try on him, looks good in all. I love his default wig but the black wig works so well with his eyes, the default silver/grey with his eyebrows. - Barb

Oooh, I know that I'm being impatient, but I need to vent right now.

My doll was scheduled to be delivered by today, August 1st, according to the email of FDQ and UPS. If it came today, then it would have come just in time for a meetup this Sunday. BUT UPS has now changed the scheduled delivery time to Monday, August 4th. I am furiously spouting fire right now, and the fact that I haven't eaten all day is probably making it worse.

Also, FDQ shipped the latest issue of FDQ Magazine to my parents' home address [my billing address] as opposed to my work address, which I specified as my shipping address. I don't know why they did this, since the other [first] issue was delivered to the correct address before.

Would people please be kind enough to post more photos of Irvin to appease my frustration? Thank you!

Won't seeing more pic of Irvin increase your desire to track down that stupid UPS truck and get your boy

I totally agree with you. FDQ did the same to me, I put a different shipping address for Irvin since I am never home. They changed my address after I sent them a notice, so my boy is not coming until next Tue Well, that is better than having him get lost trying to be delivered to a house that no one is at home.

I hope UPS driver comes to you early on Monday

Tracking number! My little Kira is finally on her way! Good thing too, her wig and clothes arrived today.

 

Yay, my little Megu's on her way home! Which is good, since she has a huge wardrobe already and I have no one to wear it. (She's my first girl!) And who's excited about all those adorable hands?? Whee!

 

I can't wait for all the hands! I'm really stoked they're offering the old sets as well! That means I can pick up the new sets and the one old set I'm missing. Yay for $150+ order for just hands. *lol* My girls are so spoiled!

 

Can't wait to see these new little girls! I have yet to find a Yo that grabs me. I will one day!

Thanks so much for the kind words, Anavel! Thankfully an evening of clothes shopping with my baby sister and a HUGE carne asada burrito has taken the angst out of me. I called UPS to ask if they just didnt want to deliver my doll today, but the customer rep said that it was still on an airplane. I hope both of us get our dolls earlier than we expected.

Also, I just came home to an email about my YoSD Megu being shipped. Yes!

I wonder if I could have just picked up my Irvin at VolksUSA before they shipped the entire cargo of Irvins to FDQ. I assume that the Irvins must have stopped by VolksUSA before going to New York. Well, next time I'll just have to be more persistent and ask.

 

All right! Megu is scheduled for delivery... right before I go out of town! Fantastic! I hope I can get the package before I go out of town.

 

My little Daisy is shipping too! Strange though the link to buy the hands was broken???

I asked FDq about that option when I ordered. I was told that Volks was sending the dolls directly to Ny

 

Hmmm...I haven't gotten any email from Volks regarding my Yo Megu shipping yet. I've checked my Spam folder too, but nada....zip...zilch....I got nuthing! Anyone else still waiting to hear an update, or am I the only one?

I'm sure it will show up soon juli. I finally got mine today, and I ordered some optional hands for Hana! I'm getting the "pinky-swear" hands so Hana and Camcam can promise to be best friends forever at the next NY Dolpa!

Juli, did you check your order page? If you saved the email from your order it should have the URL.

 

Juli: You're not the only one. Don't worry. I haven't received a shipping notice for my Sara either. And when I checked the order page she hadn't been shipped. So I guess we'll just have to be patient... Like that's any fun.

Hi Elle, Good thought, and I did check, but no shipping info is listed there yet.

Ah Sleep Pattern....its comforting to know that I'm not alone, but you're so right, this waiting without knowing anything is a little stressful and no fun. Teejay and I have got such a busy month of work related travel, that I just don't want my little one to arrive and there not be anyone her to sign for her, or worse...the package to just be left on our doorstep. Here's hoping you and I both get an update soon.

 

I can't wait for our little Megus to meet!!! I'll have to take lots of pictures!

My tracking info says that a signiture is required, so don't worry, they won't just leave her on your doorstep.

I hope you get your notice soon! Maybe VolksUSA was interrupted by the problems they had with the Kyoto Dolpa items. I'm sure it will arrive any day now.

 

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but in case you haven't emailed Pat already, yes you do need to be a subscriber to get one (unless you have a friend who subscribes, then maybe he or she will order the doll for you and you can just pay them directly).
