Sadly, me & friend who help did not manage to win the lottery for Kanon. >_< I guess will have to look out other alternative.

I didn't get an email from Volks yet but I looked in my page on the Volks site that my lottery for Melty is still there. I can't open it either. Maybe they will cancel it when all the orders are paid for?

 

The cancelled dolls will be sold on site from jan 11... But you have to fight for it. Sorry to hear some didn't get what they want...

Waited so eagerly for DD aoko. But non of my friends manage to win the lottery. Seems like this doll is very popular.

 

Yeah .... I pretty much figured that I didn't win Melty. I can't complain because I've been very fortunate with Volks in the past. I think perhaps I'm just not suppose to get her because I got a really bad number at Dolpa, messed up my VolksUSA entry and now lost on the International lottery. haha Ah well. Congrats to everyone bringing her home. She is adorable! You willbe instantly under her spell!

@ceres89 I think all the dolls were very popular. Both DD girls were very pretty in person. And I think more people are getting into DD than before especially with all the cool releases. I was very tempted by Aoko myself.

But this seems new? The Jan. 11 first come, first serve. I'm pretty sure in the past Volks just picked new people because I remember ending up with 2 Johannas and one was because of a cancelled order.

 

I too think that a lot more people are interested in DD... I may have to camp out on their website and have a click war for Neon or Melty... >.>

I was always sure that they chose new people as well, but this is perhaps a better way of doing it- that way, if someone was disappointed and didn't win, and then spent their money elsewhere, they won't be disappointed that they almost had the doll they wanted, if they get chosen after someone cancels, and can't pay for it either.

 

I am not sure whether its purely luck reason or what. My friend and i both enter the loto for dd n costume. He won only the costume and i got nothing. The other friend loto for melty and failed too. I am considering to get them from yja if still couldn't get them on 11 jan. 3 of us are new. Jz registered for an id

Sometimes they sell the cancellations at the website so we have to "click-war" for them. >.< Sometimes they do a second lottery, too, so no click-wars. I think they change the rules all the time. (_ _) I won both DDs this time, one with my ID and the other one with my friend's ID. But he also won both. So I'm sad for those of you who didn't get the chance to own any. ;w; I hope you can find them elsewhere. Or wait for the next release? The spring dollpa is just around the corner!

I was so sorely tempted to enter for Mami, and I have a feeling I'll regret not trying for her!

 

My husband & I both entered for Melty, but neither of us got her We'll both be trying again during the Click War on the store, but I'm not holding my breath on winning her there either since the site always crashes and kicks me off once a Click War starts. But at least if I try I won't have any regrets. This will be my last chance for her otherwise I'll just have to say goodbye and wait for the next set of beautiful DDs to come out. So far I'm 0 for 2 when it comes to DD lotteries as I lost out on Natsuki 2nd as well Congrats to those who have won and good luck to those going for their desired dolls during the Click War!

 

Somehow I got a feel, DD aoko won't appear on the click war. Even there is one, the quantity will be extremely little.

Sorry to hear so many people lost out on dolls. Wishing everyone luck and good internet connections in your mad clicking for the dolls you are going after! But I am looking forward to seeing the dolls that will be coming to DoA in the galleries.

Does anyone know more details on the click war? I looked at the Volks page again an it just says details on Jan. 11. Does the actual event begin then? Or maybe it will b on the 12th with the other items?

 

I think they will put out a banner, like last time, pris84. You have to look out for the banner, it will show which dolls are available. They did it before with Neris and Airy... Can't remember which DP it was. >.<

 

Thanks fransyung! I looked on the page again and the way I read it is that we should get details on the 11th but the actual clicking is on the 12th. Maybe I'm reading it wrong? Regardless, I'm keeping an eye on that page!

 

Yes, I read it like that as well. So it's going to be the same time as the Sumika items. This is bad. D: It'd be too crowded. The banner should be up tomorrow, though. >.<

 

@pris84 Yea, the details will come out on 11th. I think after the payment deadline. The click war will start the next day. But time has not been annouced.

I've gotten bitten by the DD bug so bad that I'm tempted to buy a standard from the site but I think I'm going to try and hold out until the next Dolpa which is really not that long away. I almost bought a Creamy Mami because of the failure of Melty but I resisted.

Yep, they're both still up there. Some of the outfits are still up as well.. Even some that I thought would be sold out already.

 

When I got my SD16 Daria from Volks website store after that lottery had ended, I had the opportunity to order her with Sato-gaeri services. Is that the case with the Creamy Mami girls as well?

It's different each batch. Lately they have been postponing everything. For Melty and Aoko, they said around 2 weeks, and both SDGr Mami and Yuu in February. I'm guessing they ship the little Yo's first?

 

Question: how often are Dolpas?

Volks informed me that they've charged my credit card but have not informed me when they'll be shipping my Kanon.

 

I want to guess about 5-ish a year, (without going back and actually counting) but there are other events in between, sort of like the KOS-MOS preorder.

 

I've actually been wondering if people are waiting on Mami and Yuu in order to take advantage of the yen exchange rate. If I'd waited for the international lottery I'd have saved over $200.

 

Tell me about it, I looked at the exchange rate yesterday for the first time in months and I couldn't believe it! Weird things are happening in the world.

 

Finally got shipping notice for my neon!! he will be home in 2-3 days :3
