Dolpa 28 - December 16, 2012

I remember seeing somewhere that the international After Event is going to be on or near the 20th of January. I can't seem to find where I saw it but will post a link when I do.

 

Sharkyra: Yes it is very concerning. It is nice to know there are several of us in the same boat.

Essiekl: Thank you, it just is very concerning that USA Volks already has their After Event organised. Japan is having in-store after events on 12th January 2013.
So the 20th does sound correct.

I admit the last few lotteries have sometimes had excess stock left over, so maybe they are trying to avoid this by increasing sales chances. I believe USA residents can also enter the international, Volks USA and several Volks agents lotteries
However not being a Japan or USA resident makes it differcult because we only have entry in international, and that's it. Sometimes it feels a little lopsided.
However we are lucky regardless to have a chance to appreciate

 

Are we even able to enter for the SDGr girls at the int. AE at all? That whole "dolpa only" in their description page kind of irritates me :-/.

 

Waiting to hear the lottery results from Volks USA/Kerbey Lane/& We Love Dolls is killing me~ I put in for Melty and am really really hoping that I have a good chance of obtaining her for my DD family Hopefully next Monday they will start e-mailing confirmations to everyone... though I hope it's earlier

 

It would be a lovely Christmas presents if we hear from them sooner! T.T

We should be able to as they were availiable in the Volks USA lottery. Basically when they state 'Dolpa Only' they mean it to be a limited release, a certain number that will not be availiable after the Dolpa Lotteries

WLD just confirmed me for Melty, too! So happy I won thru them -- love working with Debra. ^_^

 

hmmm no confirmation for me from Kerby so I guess my only chance is with Volks USA or Japan Int.....

 

anavel, I read that Rochelle (KL) just received the Volks confirmations about an hour or two ago, and confirmations would be sent to winners today until tomorrow morning. >.> So you still have a chance!

Haven't seen anyone talk about receiving confirmations from Volks USA. I wonder if they will start sending out confirmations tomorrow? Really hoping to see a confirmation for Melty from KL in the morning (and if not them Volks USA). Does anyone know if WLD finished sending out all their confirmations already? Congrats to those who have already gotten confirmation e-mails!

The After Event for International got posted up fast, I thought we would have to wait till the middle of January. If worse comes to worse I'll still have one more chance with them for Melty.

 

Yes... Luckily the deadline is quite faraway this time... until Jan 7. >.< That's kinda a surprise, too.

Does anybody know if WLD and KL sent out all of their confirmations? If so then I guess I'm waiting on VolksUSA then trying the international AE.

 

Doesn't seem like there have been confirmations for anything but Melty and Creamy Mami so far. Totally unable to focus on work right now! >w<

I'm wondering about KL too... they usually send e-mails even for the people who didn't win, or at least they did before. ><

I'm so excited! I received my confirmation for Kanon last night via WLD. She has been one of my dream dolls for years so I'm very happy.

There hasn't been a 'confirms are all sent' notice on FB yet from KL. I'm not even sure they started as I haven't seen anyone mention getting a doll from them. Sending all my luck towards those who are still waiting!

 

I'm still hoping to hear from KL to for Neon, and from volksusa for Kanon. I hope to get both and have twins Good Luck everyone who are still waiting. Congrats to those who already won!!

That's really cool that Volks is doing a lottery for the international after event. Maybe they finally realized that lotteries were better for market research than click wars?

 

Eh? Isn't AE always a Lottery? The clickwars is always only for Sumika items... @.@

 

Oh, yeah. I guess it's just been a really long time since I've had to resort to the AE. The way their info reads, though, it makes it sound like the dolls are available both ways. ??

 

Yes... In the previous Dolpas, cancellations were always sold on the site after the winners paid... But this time they made an announcement beforehand with the deadlines... >.> Last Dolpas, there were no deadlines. There would be clickwars during cancellations' sale... =_= I just saw the new DD hands... larger hands with longer fingers. Oh, man... My wallet. ;A;

 

Ah, the "we have changed the order process" note threw me off. Just noticed the "please do not have multiple windows open when ordering" note. As if! How else can you get the order crammed through without having everything fall out of the cart while one is refreshing the page for an hour?
Glad there aren't any DDs in the house anymore, otherwise I'd be on the hook for all of those hands in addition to the preorder for SD13 hands! @_@

 

I somehow managed to win Melty twice. WLD confirmed with me... then KL confirmed with me, too! I told KL that I'd already confirmed with WLD, so that's one more Melty confirmation for someone on KL's list! Never had this happen to me before.

 

Oh man I wish I could've been the one KL contacted for the 2nd Melty you won, but alas no confirmations today. Looks like I'll have to hope that Volks sends me one otherwise it's off to the After Event for me~

@Innocentsake, I don't know for sure, but I noticed when I looked at KL's fb page that sometimes after Volks lotteries she makes an announcement there when she has extras. I think their fb and twitter are linked so if you're following one of the two, you should be set to catch any announcements if they are made...

 

I hope they do have cancellations for you! But AE may be a good choice after all as they ship out much earlier than volks USA and the JPY exchange rate has plummeted recently.

Shoot, struck out all three times with KL/WLD/Volks USA, After Event for me! Thankfully my wonderful husband said he would try for me too so maybe one of us will be able to win Melty. And it would be great if I won her because like everyone said I'll get her a little cheaper and sooner. Here's hoping I get lucky!
