Dolpa 21 May 5th, 2009

Hi everybody,

on Y!J the first Ryoya uniforms (complete set 17.000 Yen and more) and Amy nightshirt (I saw just one for 28.000 Yen, I think) sets are being sold. So they must have been shipped in Japan already.

 

No word yet...but the outfits don't ship till October anyway, so my patience is already out of the closet and put to work

 

*blushes a bit* I actually got one. But it was for a friend, so I didn't announce it. I just sent it to her yesterday, so she'll be getting it soon & will hopefully post a ton of pics It was a total surprise - no notification or anything; just a delivery guy showed up one day with a package about a week ago

 

Ohhhh! I hope she does post pics. I'd love to see it. ^_^ Lucky duck!

 

That friend was me and hopefully it will arrive soon~! Thanks again Px! I may have trouble posting photos for a little while but I can't wait to see it and I hope everyone else gets theirs soon.

Soo many ryoya's around but how come not soo many ami T^T
Ive only seen 4 on doa including mine. did anyone else receive her yet?

 

The uniforms are great. Wish they'd offered them with the international lottery!

And I agree with Prince_of_the_netherworld - WHERE are all the Ami?

 

They are probably owned by folks who don't go to DoA often. =/

 

Since Ami is kind of like a fashion doll (SD16 girls seem to be made for the people who like fashion dolls), there might be some on Zone of Zen. ^_^

I'd love to see more of her around. I got a glimpse of her in person when someone picked their's up at the LA Sumika and she was gorgeous. I hope those that do have her on this forum post lots of pictures of her. I also think that there were many fewer of her given out of her compared to Ryoya and the SDCs.

 

I finally got some internet access, at least a little bit, so I snapped photos last night of the outfit. It's really nice and all the pockets are real, the jacket is fully lined, and I had to figure out how to tie a tie which didn't go quite so perfectly but you can't tell under the jacket *laughs* Here are photos, including some shots of the mini-comic drawn by Mikey:

That's a very handsome outfit, Tereya Chan. I sure hope that VolksUSA confirm who got the Ami and Ryoya outfits already. D=

 

Ohhhh! Thank you very much for the pictures, Tereya Chan! And that comic is so cute! I'm still in with the shoes. XD I really hope I get one of them. I keep loading the order page for mine. At least it's still there. ^_^

 

Thanks for sharing him with us, Tereya Chan. The outfit looks good, and it reminds me a lot of the outfit that Lati used to sell along with their Redline boys. But the quality of your outfit looks much better! I really like the shoes they included. And it's funny how he looks so much younger and shorter in the comic series; I can not imagine a SD17 Isao either.

I was very pleased with the quality myself. One of my dolls is already wearing the shoes and socks and I know I'll have good use for the shirt and tie. For the price, I really think it's a good deal and I hope those that get theirs will be happy. I also hope that people hear from Volks USA soon. I really want to see Ami's outfit and comic. Who knows, maybe we'll be seeing SD17 versions of all the old Tokyo Boys!

 

OMG *melts* I would die for an SD17 Tsukasa. *whimpers* The pictures of him are killing me as it is.

I got an email from Volks USA about Ami's set that said:

It went on to say they credit card information they had with my order has expired and they need me to resend my info. Did anyone else get this email? I'm going to fax over my info as it's more secure. I just wonder why the email says it's a second chance and I must have been disappointed? I never got an email in the first place saying I wouldn't be getting it and my order was never canceled. *confused*

 

I betcha someone backed out on their order so you were offered it.

 

I got the same letter, but about the Ryoya school uniform. And I never got a primary notification either.

Ryoya turned out to not be my cuppa so I traded him for a HyperManiac boy. I offered the outfit to my trade partner but it wasn't her style...so I sent a reply to Volks declining the offer with thanks.

I got the same thing. I'm currently waiting for my new credit card to come in so I can send it in. In case anyone needs to know, I called Volks to see when is the latest you have to fax your credit card info and the deadline for this is August 31st.

 

I'm gonna be picking up the Ami Negligee Set tomorrow after I get a haircut. I'll make sure I'll take lots of pictures. =3

 

Mine arrived yesterday but I haven't had the time to put it on Ami. I will do that soon! I'm not a big fan of the socks, but the bra and panties (which are pink!) are adorable and I'm loving the negligee and shorts. It's so cute!

I hate to bump this now, but I have a question.

Any of you that got Ryoya and live in the USA, have any of you head news of the Uniform set? I had one person trying to get it for me, but the communication there has been kind of lax. Thanks!

Unfortunately, Dolpa 21 is already over. It was on May 5. Sorry! Make sure you check out News for information on upcoming Dolpas, though. Volks holds them very regularly and pretty often.

 

oh i know that one has gone i want the up coming of other dates if known this year and maybe next years also

could you tell me about the volks event dates and location are they free

 

Volks events are not free; you must buy the guidebook to get into the event. The events are held at different times and in different cities. Volks has not released information for the next Dolpa, but it will be in December in Tokyo. If you search in News, you can keep an eye out for upcoming events. Thanks!
