*bites nails* Yeah, I'm not expecting to know for a while but it's driving me nuts!

It's pretty early here on the West Coast ...just gone 9am. They're probably just getting the donuts unpacked in Torrance.

I'm on the east coast and my winning emails (from previous VolksUSA lotteries) usually showed up between 6pm and 9pm EST.

I know, right? Logically we should all go out and take a brisk walk in the woods.

When we come back...maybe somebody will be sitting in our chair...or email box....Or maybe we will just find cold moldy oatmeal....

(alert the men in the white coats. Merangel is seriously loosing it....)

Okay...Here's a Question...

Those of you who have won in previous Dolpas...Did you order any aesthetics or did you just go for the plain no frills doll?

 

Merangel - For my past wins I had gone the aesthetics route, once all three services, most other times sanding and coating. This time (and the last for my Yo Colin) I opted for nothing. Basically two reasons, first - I wanted them quicker (at lesat a month difference in shipping), and second the extra cost. For me I decided it was not worth it. Anyway, waiting to hear on my Ami or Sora.

I understand it's a total lottery...I just can't help wondering if anything helps. I'm doomed to wonder what actually happens behind the scenes. Is there a screening process before the names go into the hat? Does ordering extras help? What kind of hat is it? Would it look good on me?

I need to get out more....

My status is unchanged but the amount column is empty! No emails. I'm on vacation outside Canada, sitting in a 24 hr internet cafe.....hopefully nothing goes wrong. This is no way to vacation!

 

My order for Ami is cancelled but Sora's is still there. Sora is definitely the one I want more so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

 

Okay...I did a good deed and drove my mother to the Safeway.

I didnt received a confirmation mail when I enter for the lottery but I'm glad I printed it, where can I look for my status? I have the order number...

 

I haven't gotten an email, but I just checked my order and it's been canceled. =[ Guess Ami wasn't in the cards for me after all.
