Dolpa 20 (December 7, 2008)

Aiushime:You obviously know something that most people don't know. Im curious how these rereleases will look like, and I'm also surprised that Lin and Shinn were maybe the most popular Yos. No news of any new SD13Boy, right? I am so relieved, since I'm always tempted by new boys.

Oh, Im so curious! Are Shine and Rin the same YoSDs as Shinn and Lin? Or did you say that they are new MSDs?

I'm also surprised that Tohya and Kohya may have been the most popular SD13 Boys [if this rerelease corresponds with the previous SD13Boy poll].

Shin et Rin, I think, are the same as the yoSD, but only written in different romaji ^^ "r" is said "l".

 

I also hope that is true. I'm looking forward to Shin and Rin. *cross my fingers*

 

Yeah it`s true. The dolpa ver. Shinn and Rinn have grey outfits.

And then they go and produce a Kurumi lookalike in Whiteskin(Miruku) *dies*
I kinda wish I had the money for both the Kurumi and Miruku as their outfits are the same in different colors D:

Yeah,I am as well.I would've expect the four sisters Yo to be voted the most popular - that is,assuming that these releases are based on the poll that Volks made for the anniversary.

I think the SD13 release was Kohya/Tohya?

One last thing though - I'm suprised that MSDs aren't getting much love...

Miruku (Milk, basically) is whiteskinned.

 

Oh those new SD16 girls are lovely looking!

Because "Miruku" become it when we read "Kurumi" upside down, her name is spelled as Miruku, I guess.

Myself, I'm amazed at the whiteskin SD16 Johanna - help!!

 

She looks like she has the Cristal nose!

 

I am SO RELIEVED there's not a Tsukasa re-release, because that's one of the only things I was both hoping for and dreading. I need all my money for moving to a new apartment next month, so this is good for me! I've already got my oneoff Tohya, am not interested in the girls, and am holding out for sunlight skin Yos before I get another one.

Good luck to everyone trying for these dolls though, it looks like a really great release!

I love the Kurumi rerelease, since she has always been so adorable. The One-Off Kurumi from Web Dolpa reminded me just how precious and vulnerable her headmold looks in person. I especially love how the opposite versions remind me a lot of the two Chii from Chobits, and those crowns are the cherries on the cake! So cute. But I'm most captivated by SD16 Iris. Her hair, makeup, and outfit make her look like a heavenly goddess. And I hope that I can put in for her and win. I'm so grateful to Volks for rereleasing Kurumi and the Yos, since so many people will be so happy with this!

 

I can't think of a better Christmas present than to finally get a Kurumi !!!!!!!!!!

That`s going to be hard as you can`t get her JUST by going to the event.
If you can`t get it 100%, doing a service is quite hard.

 

Heheh, since a certain someone I know has been dying for both Touya and an SD16 girl in beauty white, it looks like there's a good chance I'll be going to Tokyo~

Can you actually do that? Run a spilt in the Marketplace for a doll you aren't actually sure you would win? I think I've seen it done but I can't totally recall. Mmmm...

ria_ria: thanks for posting photos. Something about Miruku and Kurumi color combination reminds me Chobits. The crown headpieces definitely make me think of Clamp. Good thing those two are Sd if they were a pair of F18 I may have been doomed

I'd love to add a Kurumi to my family and the white Johanna is wonderful.
So sad the economy is so completely down the drain. I can't see any way to buy new beauties unless I sell some of my current clan.

Tohya~! Holy crap I might have to sell someone.

 

First the white skinned Kurumi. I already loved her and wanted her as a sister to my Syos, but since she was normal skin it would've never worked, and now there's Miruku.

Then they rerelease Kohya and Tohya, my absolute favorite schizophrenic with the pointy nose and sad pouty lips.

And THEN a white SD16 girl? Mr. Shigeta knew I had always dreamed of a White Cat Chris SD16 girl!



Volks has outdone themselves this Christmas. I'm totally overwhelmed

 

They're killng me with these SD16 girls!!!!!!!!!!! Arghhhhh -- and I just got Pearl!

This is crazy - I'd love to have one of each of all of these dolls. Insanity!

This... is exactly why I didn't enter for Pearl in the USA Web Dolpa ... I am so happy now. Even shin & lin ahhhhh!!!!!!! . I can't complain about the lack of MSDs this time even if it is my favorite size ^_~.

It took two Christmases but now there's finally a chance at another Kurumi ...
But so... according to this news post by ria_ria, Miruku will only be available to attendants at the physical dolpa? TwT Cuz Volks' lovely white skin color would be a dream come true...

(Looks like I'm gonna have to take on a ton of extra shifts at work these holidays XD!)

 

I wonder if that means anything in regards to our chances of having them be available through VolksUSA? I really hope that Volks will still offer them to us. Miruku is so adorable! I love her purple hair!

And I love the outfits on Shinn and Lin too.
