Really, the 7th of December?? That's SO not cool! D: I live in Japan but I miss out because I'm travelling! I thought Dolpas were usually held closer to the end of the year??

 

I can't wait! I can't wait to see what else they release for the Dopla! I thought it was held at the end of December but I guess its just up to the company deciding.

 

Uh... wow you mean Zephyr is some popular wig maker? I didn't even know... but I have a lavender colored yo-sized wig from Zephyr... I love it... but I don't have any yo's to wear it anymore

 

so then pictures (at least teasers) should be up in a week or two, right? how exciting! i wish i could go to the dolpa (if just for the experience! )

I am very excited... i wish that they would make more BTSSB shoes, a pair of pretty winter boots would be awesome. Hopefully in the right size too

 

I am HEINOUSLY excited about miss tanned DD on the left Her headmold looks excellent! I haven't been a fan of the most recent headmolds, but hers is really something!! And check out those boobs

Wow, that tanned DD is gorgeous, I love her face! Character DD's are usually to expensive for my taste but I still can't wait to see more of her. And I'm excited to find out what resin dollies will be released this time!

 

It was announced as the 7th quite some time ago. ^^;; This year was the first time Volks gave out the dates for their large events months in advance. ^^;;

The Winter Tokyo Dolpa has been known to move around a lot in December. The last 3 previous to this one were all about Christmas, but I remember there were past Dolpas on the 7th as well as in the middle of the month. A lot just has to do with when Volks can get a space with Big Sight. I personally find all the Fall doll events tend to move around quite a bit. The Fall Doll Show can be as early as late September like this year and as late as around Thanksgiving week end.

The GW Tokyo Dolpa tends to move around less since GW is a more defined time. Though I hate when it conflicts with Super Comic City like in 2007 since I enjoy both events.

The best way to find out when a Tokyo Dolpa is going to be is to check the Big Sight site. They list events up to 6 months in advance.

 

ooo i hope they offer sd17 clothing, if i want to borrow sephi's body from time to time I need other clothing that would fit him!

 

I hope they don't have a doll that I would seriously want. O__o;;;

 

Both of these~ I can only really afford clothes this holiday season and I'd love some nice SD17 clothes. I'd die if they released Kanaria and she was really cute.

 

Oh yes! More Rozen Maiden dolls! The only one i dont really like is Hina Ichigo, but i dont hate her either.

 

Woah, then pics will be coming soon. I can't wait!!!! But I think as Midori, better not fall in love with the new dolls or my pocket will die T__T

 

oh man if they have kanaria... i would only really consider getting rozen maiden dolls. if they make her oober cute then i don't know if I can resist... after williams i am not supposed to get any expensive dolls!

 

Count me in with those hoping that there will be more Rozen Maiden dolls! I hope that they have both Kanaria and Barasuishou.

And I am always interested in more BtSSB and h.Naoto outfits.

I wonder if Volks will rerelease Jun T. and Tsukasa? I thought that a lot of people were hoping for them?

 

I want both Jun T. and Tsukasa, too. I want more h.naoto outfits as well. Here's to wishing.

 

I've been waiting for volks to release Kanaria but I'm hoping with the holidays that Kanaria is released at a later dolpa.

 

I'd love to see more Yos and BTSSB outfits! And shoes!!!! Let there be more shoes for every size!

Meanwhile, it strikes me that December 7 is an odd day for Volks to pick too, considering its historical significance as "...a date which will live in infamy". But perhaps this date doesn't have the meaning in Japan it does to Americans, especially some of our parents and grandparents. In any case, better to mark the day with a happy event, rather than as one of the darkest days in history for our two countries....maybe that's what Volks was thinking too.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I am torn between desperately wanting to see some new Rozens, and hoping Volks won't release them at least until next year. (This is so that I can afford to get them without being a grinch.) heh.

Oh, I really like a layout of the webpage... And the logo, with these golden leaves etc. (?) seems so... 'exclusive'.
It has just come to my mind on seeing 'SD 10th Anniversary x Dolpa 20' that maybe they are going to rerelease all items that have won the 10th Anniversary's survey... But most likely, it's just a wishful part of my mind that wants me to think so...

Do you guys happen to know whether they have already sent another volume of 'Volks news' including some pics of Dolpa stuff?

Ohh, I'm getting so anxious to see who will be released! I'm either hoping that there will be nothing I want, or that there *will* be something I want and they have the afterevent sometime between January 2nd and January 10th, as that's when I'll be in Tokyo. Eee. I'm kind of hoping for SwD Lucas or Williams myself... or Tsukasa. Tsukasa would be great.

I understand that the School heads are available to those attending Volks' workshops, but I was wondering if they are also sold at Dolpas to people who can't attend a workshop?

 

I'd like Williams to be rereleased as well.. but not now! I do not have any money!
Secretly I hope for a new SD13 girl to be released that can replace my Tanning Lishe.

 

I've never bought anything from Volks and am not really familiar with their events, but I was wondering if the items they are releasing for Dolpha will be available for purchase on their website or do you have to personally attend to get items. Is there a secret to purchasing items from the Japan website, I remember seeing something about lottery drawings. I don't think I could resist if they have BTSSB outfits for sale Thanks.

 

Volks often have all of their items from Dolpas available on their international website for sale after the event. You do not have to attend the events to get them. However, there are some occasions in which particular items will not be for sale due to licensing issues or exclusiveness. Also, no matter how you try to get limited items, you might find yourself fighting to get them though.

 

The only way a School head would be available at the event would be if it was a one-off.

Otherwise, you must attend the workshop.

 

I love the web page design! The gold scrolling is reminiscent of The Maiden's promis, but those purple stars make me think of Journey to Dream Nights. I wonder if those will be the limiteds? (of course, all is speculation, which is all I can enjoy since I don't get to go this time )

Oh! I'd love to see a Cristal re-release All grown up and on a SD16 body, along with grown up versions of Emma and Liz... Or even a Renee re-release (I know I'm not the only one here). The suspense is killing me. I'd love to see a cute MSD boy release...so many items on my wish list, I guess it just means I'll be hard to disappoint.

 

I wonder if they will be doing some re-releases as part of the "finale" for their 10th anniversary events this Dolpa? Usually its mostly new dolls at Dolpas, though it'd be awesome to see more rereleases at this one. A Tsukasa rerelease, however unlikely, would definitely throw a monkey wrench into my doll plans! And I sort of wish Volks would release more of the mini-standard Yo's at this event. Sort of, 'cause I really want a tiny Nono, but a new Yo isn't really in my budget til next year. XD

I'm crossing my fingers for some nice clothes. I'd love something in SD17 size and an outfit for my little Kira. Punk clothes for Yos are cute and all but I'd love something sweet this time.

 

I just wish they'd make an actual standard line of YO-SDs. It would be so awesome if they weren't all limited.

I reckon.Aftermarket prices most of the time are really hefty,lol.And the thing is,a loooooooooot of people love the Yos so I don't know why Volks hasn't released a standard line yet when the market for them is huge.
