i dont think there is hope for the clothes ... only if you want the dolls that you should wait. i am not sure if they will restock it tho ..

 

They sold out half hour when I went for lunch.

After I had been babysitting the computer for a good 5 hours for it.

 

The stuff I wanted has already sold out.. can't say that I'm shocked.

I think I need to put in for the day off from work in the future, because the outfits go so fast.

I guess I keep an eye on the MSD stuff and see if anything pops back up as in stock.

The male military outfit that was part of the 2007 Collection has been taken down from the Volks USA site. But the boots are still up, so I wonder why they pulled it.

 

Gosh good luck to everyone trying for the dolls. Only 12 minutes left...

Wow, Reisner went in less than 30 seconds. My hubby was downloading stuff and it slowed my computer. Totally bummed. Reisner is the only Volks male I've ever really wanted.

No Reisner for me. Gah... how many times do I have to try to get him? The shops fail me, the lotto fails me, and the AE fails me. It was trying to place him in my basket and then he was gone before he made it there.

 

Keep checking sometimes they restock the items.

Just to let everyone know, the sumika items went on sale at the same time as the dolls. The underwear was just on sale early. I hope some of you got what you wanted.

 

And for those who were interested in clothes, I know at least some of the items came back in stock at 6:00 am EST cause I was able to get 4 of the 5 outfits I wanted!

Does anyone ELSE keep getting kicked back to the "UPDATE REGISTRATION" over and over when they try to check out???? AUGH!!!!!

 

I got a few outfits. They must have held some back to release at the doll AE start time. I managed to get the bordeaux princess dress :fangirl
but the charlotte berry dresses that I ordered next, showed in stock, but didn't show up in the cart and are now sold out
Rats! I was really hoping for the rimless glasses. I used to wear some just like it! All gone now.
Hoo boy it is 3:20 am here And I am so revved from this....

I just woke up. Everything including the yo underwear is sold out

 

I think things started to go on sale at 5:59 EST or 6:59 JPT in terms of clothes. I'd been testing things by trying to put one of the outfits I wanted in my basket and suddenly at 5:59 it went in.

I wasn't trying for a doll, but is it just me or was the site way more stable this time? I only twice got the error page vs. last Dolpa where I kept getting it again and again and again while trying to get the Yo SD outfits.

 

Yeah the site was more stable this time, I stilll remember the old times were the site will crash for hours....

I had NO hope of everything still being in my cart when I finally got to check out at 350 AM local time... I finally changed the way I entered my home address, so the numbers appeared AFTER the street name, and BANG! it goes through!! I really wanted the theme park set for girl and the froggy underwear. THe cocoa jumper for msd would have been nice too
At least they had some generic yo undies and I was able to get the msd undies

when you confirm what is in your shopping cart and sign in, you should be able to select "other" from the payment method instead of credit card, and then Volks will send you a paypal invoice by email (within 24 hours i believe)

I really wanted the Tenshi no koromo DD dresses, I tried before going to bed around 11pm EST and it was not available yet, then i tried again this morning around 7:15 EST and now sold out
Also, no MiniDD extra hands parts...
I'm pretty sure Volksusa.com will have most of these outfits within 1 months on their site... there is still hope!!

I just paypal'd 2 of my 3 AE invoices. I kept checking out when I got someting sucessfully in my cart because I didn't want to lose it. I didn't see any crashes on the Volks site this time. They must have made some improvements!
My compter is acting really weird ! I sure hope I didn't get some computer virus in all my clicking frenzy

Wow, AreeElf, thanks for the congrats! I am glad you got that Chibi outfit. I was surprised to see them both in stock. I got them a while ago and they are so amazing. I was only going to get one, and it was so cute I got the other one too. I bet you will adore it!!
I got a few regular things too, kips discs, shoes and eyelashes... It sure adds up! It was a nice surprise to get the 118 exchange rate for my purchases!

 

Sheri I was tempted to get the blue one too but it was starting to add up. I love your Papi by the way mine just arrive yesterday. I already did a recent volksusa for parts so this was mostly clothes

 

The MSD Princess dress came back in stock about an hour ago, but I was not fast enough. I think it was the shock of seeing it back in stock.

Volks is trying to drive me bonkers, because the outfits that are around it keep showing up back in stock... well until someone snaps them up.

Does anyone know why Volks USA removed the military outfit from the 2007 Collection ? It seems that they still have the boots ready to sale next month.

 

If it makes you feel any better those two dresses were the most popular at the actual Dolpa. ^^;

Oh that is interesting to know about the DD dresses. We were trying to get the pink swallowtail one - it is so amazing - we don't even have a Dollfie Dream doll!!! Anything for fashion, right?

 

When I was at Dolpa 17, there seemed to be plenty of the H.Naoto x V.Jeans sets and lots of the Yo outfits, (Since I got those and was #92) but the DD outfits had long long long sold out.

I think the next most popular were the MSD Cocoa sets, MSD Cyber Cat outfits, the two Red Plaid outfit and the Princess sets. I know I bought the very last black China short set for MSD.

This is just a theory, and I don't know if it is true, but I'm going to say someone complained it looked Naziesque and it got removed. A lot of people are pretty anxious over things like that, and I doubt Volks wants the controversy of say people protesting in front of their store.

This is just a theory, but I think it's probably why.

 

Lol, I dun think there would be any actual Dolpa like the ones Volks organize? The most is just a dollmeet. And if you would like to attend an ACG convention with dollies it would probably be end of the year.

And the dreaded December Dolpa 18. Year end Dolpas are killers.....

Its kind of easy to lose hope though when you've tried EVERY way you can of getting the doll directly from Volks (and being right at the cut-off every single time, or trying to load him in the basket as he goes sold out, etc)... and then you see them start to show up in the marketplace for $2100.

And I've been refreshing his page at the AE for 5 hours now.

 

Oh thanks for that information! I think VolksUsa sale will have less people trying to order so it will be easier to get these outfits *hope* if not i'll have to spend the big $$$ on yahoo.jp auctions
