Dolpa 17 Discussion

This past Dolpa AE they sent items 2-3 days after they received your payment.

I was a told that for the AE featuring Chinatsu and Kuuta a friend's didn't ship until close to a month later when the VolksUSA dolls went out.

 

Hm... It varies, but it's way quick--less than a week usually. I know they shipped my outfit the next day. And EMS gets to the states in about 3 days.

Hum... does anyone know if Suiseiseki and Souseiseki have different face-ups? Or are they the same? I haven't seen enough baldie pictures to compare... especially the eyebrows. Anyone?

 

They have different faceups. Most visible is eyebrows. Suiseiseki has pink colour, girlish cheek and Souseiseki has very light orange cheek. Lip colours are different, too.

 

it there a time fore the start of the AE yet?The english site has not bean updated and im having a very hard time interpriting the japones one

 

one question about AE: when we get the item in the chart, do i have to fill additional information on the checkout or it will be the same as buying ordinary item from the website?

 

I thought they were billing the winners on the 24th. I am waiting for Shinn to be billed, but I just checked my CC online and nothing yet.... My order status is still blank, just like it was after I placed it on the 4th.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but.. The English After Event page is the first link on the Volks International page.

It says on the image that the AE will be held from May 26th to May 27 on "this page" (meaning that they'll most likely update it to have links to a shopping cart, either on that main page or on the items pages).

It would be a little more helpful if they added the time. Do they usually start at midnight their time or later?

 

VolksUSA doesn't do anything for me, I'm in Malaysia. The International AE is basically my one and only chance of getting ANYTHING at all directly from Volks, if I miss it it's the secondary market for me D:

.....I think I'm gonna be refreshing the Volks website all day and all night tonight... I know someone posted the AE is 7pm Japan time, but on the Japanese page I see that it says the AE is 10am-8pm...

Might I ask how you came across it? Both the banner and the link under "Events Schedule" point to the page without the after event link (Maybe I needed to be logged in?)

EDIT There's no hNaoto stuff on the page, whut? O.o

 

For some reasons, I am still not charged. What's going on....!?

 

I found it under the AFTER REPORT 2 link, then AFTER EVENT heading. There was a link for ORDER SHEET. There's no YO SD outfits either, which was the only thing I wanted to get for my Shinn.... There's wigs and other stuff to be sure, but I wonder when and where I will get the chance to get the "Theme Park Outfit - Boy" as they are calling it on the site.

 

At the last AE, it started at three AM Pacific Time, Saturday Morning...

I think the last time some clothing items made it to the Volks USA store about a month after the AE on the International website, I hope your items make it there (even if you're not in the US you could ask someone to get it for you). I just feel a little bummed, the hNaoto jeans were requested by a friend, and now I gotta break the bad news to her...

And regarding the start time, the one for dollies does say 7pm, I guess the clothes go on sale at the same time? I'm trying to talk a friend into babysitting the website at 10am Japan time as well, just in case.

Someone else, a few posts back posted the start times. They are the same as the last International AE. 3:00 AM for me...

They don't actually have the time at the site it just has the time the actual dolpa was i remember Anthony mentioning it was 5 am Eastern

 

Actually if it starts at 7:00 pm JPT that is 6:00 am Eastern time. ^^; Japan doesn't practice daylight savings.

What are you hoping to get? I really want one of the MSD Cyber Cat outfits that sold out before I could get it at Dolpa and maybe the MSD Cocoa Jumper or Cocoa pants set.

BTW the English site does not say when clothes go on sale, just the dolls. ;_;

Never mind, a friend told me the items will ship after the 28th. So anyone has luck with the Japanese AE?

 

How strange....when I clicked on the Reisner link, it says 'We are very sorry. The item in question could not be purchased at this time.' and I can't complete the order. However, when I try clicking on the 25cm and 27cm dollfies, it says 'Some products are only purchasable in limited quantities.' and I seem to be able to carry out an order. Does this mean the AE has already started and Reisner is sold out? o_O It's so confusing!

 

Did we forget that Volks also cater to the figure collectors who are not into BJDs? Is that why those Dolfies can be purchased now? The server has not crashed yet. It might be so in another 8 hours "(>___<)"

Don't worry, if the item has sold out, the message will read:

"We are very sorry. The item in question has sold out."

So I guess the AE has not started yet (doesn't stop me from randomly refreshing some of the order pages though ^^;; )

I entried the lottery for limited dolls for my dearest friend and myself, and lost in all T_______T

Volks didn't set the time for outfits at Osaka Dolpa AE, either...we Japanese could entry the lottery for limited dolls from AM6:00 to AM11:00 and many fans woke up at AM6:00.
Volks web site was saying they would start the sales of outfits after the lottery of limited dolls were cleaned, so most of all people were waiting on the front of computer from AM6:00 to PM7:00 (me, too)


This time, I thought they would do it from night or PM3:00 (the time of limit for sending e-mails to the winners of the lottery)...and they did it.

 

Okay I am confused I thought it wasn't starting for a couple of hours yet.

Me too........I figured it would start 3 am my time which is in about fifteen minutes. Could it be they made a mistake and put pm when they meant am in the time?????

 

Ug or is it 4 am. Is there any hope for the clothes or should I go to bed?
