Dollzone Tinies: 11.5cm to 19.5cm Size

Okay, question about Mini Kitty. I just got her fullset but her ears dont stay on over the wig as they do in the photos from the company. The magnets are not strong enough. I've tried my best to part the hair in such a way that it leaves room for the ears to sit but havent been able to find that 'sweet spot'. Anyone have any advice?

 

Well, depending upon how much you love her wig, you could cut ear holes in it, or could make one with ear hole spots (or commission someone with a MiniKitty that makes wigs to make one.)

 

I was hoping there was a way to make it work as is. I definitely plan on making her some custom wigs anyways so I guess I will plan that for sooner rather than later haha.

 

I'm terribly sorry if this is not the right thread for this, but-
I have two special event Dollzone dolls from 2015- Faeries, and Jinggo. Both have their original factory body blushes, and are in near-perfect condition. I also have their CoA and the bags they came in. I'm wanting to sell them, but I do not know their value.
Would anyone have any ideas? Or- if this is not the correct thread to ask, where should I ask? (Sorry! It's been a very long time since I've been active on this forum.)

 

My girl is here! Her eyes arrived a few days before she did, and she arrived Saturday while I was out of town, but she's here! I have 5mm eyes in her currently, and you can see her white putty around them- luckily it just looks like white-of-eye though. Unfortunately her 6mm eyes just don't want to sit in the socket quite right- I think the socket's too curved or the eye too flat, so I guess I'm gonna try and sand it a wee bit later and see if I can make them fit better. No way 7mm's would fit so I'm super glad I didn't get those (Thanks @Leo Pheonix for pointing me to Dreaming Tree Studios and giving me fit advice!) She came a bit tightly strung, so I ended up restringing her last night (I think they used the length of elastic for regular body, because without the wings it'd probably have been a perfect fit. As is, instead of stretching her elastic up the neck to the S hook, I wrapped another piece of elastic around it and stretched it up, just the length of the neck, and that seems to have made her perfect). 10/10 not looking forward to unstringing her again to seal, blush, and then restring. Like super not looking forward to. I can string an MSD in a few minutes. This chick was all struggle x.x


@Armour Are they the faeries on the DZ site under Special Doll, or different ones? They have a limited edition area on their site that may be helpful for showing which they are and finding people who know (or googling them by name or something?) www.doll-zone.com

I was gonna unstring and MSC her today (that sun protection though.) Went to the dentist and it was hot and sunny. Ran a few errands and it was hot and sunny. Drove to my house and it started to drizzle. Went inside and heard thunder. Welp, there goes that plan.

does anyone have an iris/ivy? i'm waiting on bjdivas to ship out my dz order and i got one of their bodies to hybrid my DC ela head onto..! aaaaand i have no idea what clothes would fit her. x3
i'm very inexperienced with tinies, especially the more mature/slender and tall size? if anyone has any suggestions i'd love to hear and see! :>

My Iris. I found that pukipuki clothes work pretty well for her.

Also try Happily Ever After doll clothes. Monster High clothes are usually too tight, though. I think they wear 24mm shoes, which you can search for on EBay and Etsy, also DDE has some.

Blythe have old-style Skipper bodies. They'd be too wide if PukiPuki and HEA clothes fit that DollZone body. (I can PM a comparison of Blythe vs. PukiPuki bodies, if you'd like)

 

i thought it was popular to replace their base bodies with... another body, but i don't remember which haha x_X but they look so skinny in pictures...!!
are happily ever after and ever after high the same toy line btw? when i google for "happily ever after doll" most of the results are for ever after high. and i'm not really familiar with the line x_x;

Hello! I've just resurfaced into the BJD world and I'm very curious about Doll Zone's Eugenia. Does anyone have any owner picture of her? Bonus points for the fullset because I love her default look.

Puki size dresses can work as tops, but most other things won't fit.

 

I have a Dollzone deer girl body, with no head. I'm trying to find one that will fit her, so I can complete the doll. Does anyone know of a company that has heads that would fit?

Just wrapping up this old question. Many people had posted previously about using Lori clothes and I was delighted to see that they did indeed fit my deer (well not hats and boots but the tops etc fit fine). Here is a pic of her on her scooter (also for Lori):

Ordered her beforehand. She was being discontinued. I really wanted them both but I couldn't order the second in the resin I wanted so I just got the one. I like he face but I was wondering if there was other tiny heads the match the body style.

Well, right out of the box the wings are too loose to hold a pose. She is UNBELIEVABLY kicky. And her right leg won't sit right. Can't get her to stand. But she is so tiny and perfect I dont care

Is there even a way to order Arwen or Ivana anymore? I only seem to be able to find their bodies on sale but not the head or the fullset?

If the only the bodies are available now.. Does anymore know if the new Laura doll by Doll Leaves might fit the Doll Zone body?

 

Sadly, but this dolls are discontinued. And only way is to find them second hand or maybe some doll shops have them.
Where did you find bodies? I’m thinking to change body for my Arwen.

I looked at Laura, and she is cute! Looking at her measurements, I think she's very close to my Ivy, but Ivy has an exquisite body. Laura's body is pretty basic. I'm still thinking about her.

Yeah that's why I was pondering getting one of the DZ bodies and putting the Laura head on it. The neck sizes look to be similar on paper...

Also wondering if I could use the Green event to get green wings on a ns or ws body.

 

As we all know hybrids almost always a big headache.
I have ordered Laura. Half year and I’ll be able to say how it look. There is big doubts Laura head will be good on DZ fairy body.
*suddenly have and idea* I have lati white, who have similar head size (not neck) as Laura. I’ll see how it look.

 

Does anyone know if there's ready made clothes that fit Miko? She is is similar to this:

I think the top half of her torso is a bit smaller around, but she has pretty thicc hips and thighs. She came with a black event cape and bowtie thing that stained her when just trying it on, there's no way I left them even 10 minutes!

I don't know that I care enough about the pieces to make them "safe" (seems like the black will probably fade a lot anyway) and I just want something easy to get so I can play with or display her. I will eventually try to sew something after I figure out the best way to clean her, but she's such an odd shape it's going to take me a while to try and make a pattern, my skill set is limited.

 

Does anyone know of any bodies that are compatible with the 16cm line of dolls from DZ? Thinking about modding a body but wonder if there are cheaper options.

 

Looking at Miko's picture, she probably can wear yosd tops, but MNF bottoms. Also a Yosd dress with a full skirt. She reminds me of my iMda 3.0, small shoulders and chest, and big hips. IMda has patterns on their site, plus there's several available on Etsy.

 

Thanks @Chraurelius I have a full skirt yosd dress on order for a different doll, that will get here someday! I'll try that on her for sizing and go from there.

Received my mini kitty today, she's my first ever bjd! I am so in love with her!

 

This seemed like the most relevant place to ask - does anyone know why Dollzone's little Bean and Conch (it says $199, but when you select the only available option, the price jumps to $999) are a thousand dollars each? I'm not even complaining, I'm just genuinely baffled by why these two dolls are more expensive than most of their SD-scale dolls.

 

@LectorEl a $999 price is a sign that the item is for display, not for sale (not all the site software supports marking something as out of stock, so they instead set a price to discourage attempts at purchase).

Little Bean is part of the current event, and can only be "purchased" as an event gift, by reaching increments of $200 in other purchases: DollZone News

Conch is part of the Sawarieda re-release, and can only be "purchased" by purchasing Sawarieda and receiving Conch as a gift

I forgot I started watching this thread because I'm now the proud caretaker of a set of fraternal old Dollzone twins (Ani and Ami). They are waiting for outfits though. But I finished their faceups recently

Hello, does anyone know how CoA's for miss kitty/mini kitty dolls are like? I'm the second owner for this doll, and I'm not too familiar with how Dollzone CoA's look. Would it be considered this photocard that came with the doll?

 

Looking at this threa, I realise all my Dollzone babies are OLD. They are all so chunky compared to the newer releases.

I'm currently sort of making an inventory of my dolls, and I took some photographs of my tinies. Including a group shot of all the tiny DZ kids:

The two babies are Petal and Leaf: DZ Christmas Baby B and D, who are OT here because they don't have enough joints.

I love the newer releases, and I'm always tempted - but I really don't have room for more dolls. Plus as you can see in the picture many of my old dolls desperately need help when it comes to face-ups and outfits. LOL!!
