I tried a different wig on Lena this weekend just for fun, it's the mohair wig from the Lola fullset and belongs to thegashlycrumb.
It's really very pretty, but didn't fit her very well since it's fitted specially for the Lola head; it may have worked a little better with some putty under it to hold it in place though since the size was only a little off.

 

Covenmouse - I...... Don't want to be mean but I don't really like that look on her. >->;;;;; It just doesn't look..... Its not my thing, it's just not. If you like it, whoohoo, but.... I can't help it. XP I liked her gold, it was an interesting look. That's just..... Uhm... I do not have words. I shall stop now. >-<;;;

Vintage - Kigan looks fabulous, I like his eyes, they're pretty bright, even from that angle!

Nyco - Oooou, nice pants~ I like those shoes too! ^-^ I'll have to go peek at the thread you linked.

Elenore - O-O Lena's being devoured by a big fuzzy thing! Someone rescue her! XD

 

@diffendore: FUZZY KITTEN! I too love how fuzzy baby kittens are. My kitten is not a baby anymore, so he's not quite as fuzzy. Anyway, back on topic, I love that wig on your Shoyo! I also find it very interesting what the dark makeup does for the eye shape of your DZs.

@Covenmouse: Very creative concept! I've always found Mexican sugar skulls kinda creepy, although I do have to admit the designs are really fascinating.

@Ellie: That wig is such a different look for Lena! It gives her face such an interesting glow.

 

Karie - but she didn't want to be saved. the volume of it wasn't actually much more than that of her normal wig when it's not clipped back except for that it was longer.
and now I'm actually contemplating getting her a long mohair wig in black, not that she'd probably wear it all the time, but I liked the look of it on her and it's fun to have options.

Grace - the color of it was really nice on her, and I'm starting to think that maybe when I redoll Lena's character eventually (when I have more money and have finally decided what I actually want her to be) that whoever the Aimi ends up being will be a ginger.
but the glow I think was mostly because we were in a room with tons of natural light and it was coming from behind where I had her sitting haha.

 

I meant the combination of the lighting and the colors of the wig and her faceup meshing, but I didn't know how else to describe besides "glow." It's just a kind of look that isn't there with her normal black wig, really warm and soft-looking.

@Nyco: OH YEAH and happy six months to Alexei! The clothes you made for him look awesome!

 

Grace - I know :3 I was just saying that I think it was mostly because of the light shining through the floofy wig that made it like that -nods-

 

o3o; I have so many DZ on my Shelf right now it's almost scary! hahah! Although they're kinda being neglected since my new boy from Doll Leaves came home today ^^;;;;

Wow, those eyes are so big you could get lost in them! I like that whole blue theme going on.

 

I'm glad so many people liked my little kitty! His name is Oreo and right now he's got a cold. Anyway here's another pic of my DZ Shoyo wearing a different wig. I decided to change it after my brother said the other one made her look like a poodle...

 

Aww, feel better soon, Oreo! Having kitten ickies is no fun.

I never really liked Shoyo from the company photos, but I think she looks great in owner photos! I love yours, I think the new wig suits her well. I also like how her outfit sets off her makeup. The paper crown gives me the giggles for some reason.

 

Awww! Poor Koneko-san! I hope Oreo gets better soon!

That wig is much more the thing! Now you can see her face, and it's such a nice face. ^-^ I like that wig on her, it works. And yes, the paper crown made me snicker just a little. X3

Only slightly OT, (it pertains to Dollzone!) my sister just ordered her first doll, DZ Wing ^____^ Alexei's gonna be sooooooo pissed when he gets here >:3 He will no longer be the tallest resin hehe

I went through my pictures and realized I was way to busy to take doll pics but I do have this.



If you don't know, which is probably all of you, Bucees is a famous truck stop in Texas that has amazing bathrooms. Almost all Texans will stop at a Bucees while traveling. There's really no logical explanation for it, we just do. So of course the dolls had to come in with us.

nyco Thanks~ I can't get enough of them, really, and they keep sneaking into my bag and hiding under the desk at work to boot. xD This is what happens when I make wardrobes from a dress. xD

 

@Hakura0: I've been wondering what happened to you and roserising 'cause you two haven't been posting much lately! Good to see your boys again, though!

 

DFS I tend to slip out of places involving conversations with more than..me and one other person, ha. xD I am technically alive though.

Had to clean today, blah, but I did mug a gorilla for it's clothes and they were an almost too perfect fit. Kurogane now looks like he should be playing soccer. xD

I just managed to kill my camera's batteries taking pictures of my new Minifee and... so I haven't had any pictures to post of my DZs... *shifty look* xD I need to get off my bum and get some batteries, lol.

Not very many of the pics I took inside before my parents left turned out very good but I wanted to show y'all this one.

I was experimenting with her clothing today and discovered she looks really cute if she wears the star dress as a long shirt and wears her denim skirt with it.

Yeah, it's all passed, but now it's really gross and humid out O.o It'll probably be that way tomorrow, too, so I dunno if I'll get some pictures. Might take him to a friend's house, though; we'll see.

 

it's been pretty gross here too. that's why i only had Airi outside for like 10 mins yesterday. long enough to get those 3 different poses then it was right back inside.

 

Thanks dev-nyo ! ^_^ The jointed hands have been intresting. I do like them for their poseability, but you have to be careful when poseing them so one doesn't go wonky! ^_^; All in all I think they were a good investment cause I really didn't like his old DZ hands.
