1. Kevin want to say Hello!! to the new thread

Bad Flash photo Judith spam XD Shiny new thread.... Hi Every one!

4. We only have a girl here and she is on the old body which I do know is a bit pudgier than average. They are not too far off of actual Yo size (yo's are also pudgy) but a good bit larger than Little-fee and huge in comparison to my tiny honey delf. Mostly when I shop for clothes for Aria I look for things that say they will fit Yo-sd or I shop by measurements. If something says it will fit Little-fee or soom tinies I stay away because I know it will be too small. I only have one outfit that was made specifically for Yo-sd that was a bit tight through the shoulders on Aria. I have heard the newer bodies are slimmer so I don't know if that would help or not.

5. Here's my DZ BB Ani with a Little Fee and a YoSD Kuuta for comparison.
I have my own patterns that I made for the Ann Estelle dolls that I use for my DZ kids. They are a great fit, as are the Tonner AE and Michael clothes.

6. Thanks for the answers, everyone!
I was seeing so much for the smaller Littlefee size, that I forgot that the technical standard is still Volks. Since they are similar in size, it should definitely make my search easier! Thanks!

7. Here's some Jing spam for you, nanichan! It's an old photo, but he still looks as cute as ever. ;)

8. My Jing wears 14mm, but I think I have one pair of 12mm around somewhere... (probably in one of my Soom's) so I'll fish them out of their boxes later and get a picture for you. I'd be worried about 10mm looking a little too small, but that's just my personal opinion.

These are 12mm acrylics I've had for years, so no clue where they're from. There's 3 other shots in the same set (angled slightly differently) if you'd like to see those too.

10. Picture!
This is Blandarn, the dwarf:

And right now he's a pirate, figuratively and literally ~_^ He hi-jacked my littlefee body and is wearing the dollheart pirate outfit.

He grumbles at his lack of boots thou. Grumbles loudly.

oh and I solved my eyeball problem, I found some eyeco softglass eyes lying around, I think in size 13, and they are perfect ^_^

11. Does anyone know, is Moon's wig size 5/6? Or 6/7? I am apparently wig size deficient. I can't find it anywhere.

12. VampireAngel13 -I went with the size 6/7 for my Moon and now can't remember why! I did get a DZ wig from MOC in a similar style as the the promo pics. I do remember MOC saying Moon's head was 7cm -so that must be it! I hope! LOL:sweat

Hi! This is my BB Kay!His name is Phoenix, but I usually call him Nick :3

14. A little bit of BB spam, since it's been requested. This is a somewhat old photo of my Sis, but it's still a good one so I will use it for now.[IMG]

15. Good question Call Me Stephanie. I know the Moon/Star heads are yosd sized as they fit on the 25cm bodies. The dragon bodies are the same height as yosd but the bellies are very 'pudgy' so I believe any clothes will have to be custom made. Though, they might fit yosd shirts. It will be interesting to see owner pics and how each person chooses to dress or not dress them.

16. The human body is their normal yosd sized body, I believe.
And I think they'll be able to wear yosd sized shirts? Possibly.
Personally, I'd dress mine in casual wear for the most part. And they'd be nongendered because of the character around them.
What is interesting about them though (Star and Moon) is that, while they have two fingers and a thumb, they only have two main "toe" talons?

Absolutely in love with their bottom heavy bodies and their ears, still.

17. Feels like a lot of snow for poor little Fafnir. He's very brave making his way through all of it.

As for me I've finished painting and blushing my ladybug Dong Dong today. I've ordered a new wig for her (the one she is wearing in the picture has way too much volume for her), but now we'll have to go shopping for fitting shoes and dresses.

Since she's my first DZ tiny of this size does anyone have good recommendations what she can wear? In this picture she's wearing a Lati Yellow dress by the way, but it's actually a little bit too tight and too short for her.

And funny enough DZ sent her with a pair of odd eyes. One is light blue, while the other one is dark blue, so I guess I'll have to find her a pair of new eyes as well :doh

18. Hi all! this is my first DZ girl. it does not have a body yet :( but I hope that very soon it will have it.;)
her name is Daniella^^

19. And regular BB spam!
My Nemo. Renamed Charmane.

20. Hehehe I was just popping in to mention the new hybrid I found, I didn't even realize it was the topic ~_^

I acquired a white skin impledoll msd body in a trade yesterday and turns out the 1/4 by impldoll is hella petite.

hybird:

I immediately disassembled the entire body for cleaning (cuz dang it needs it!) but it looks like the wide face of a dollzone bb would fit it really well. Also, the neckholes match up perfect, and the color is very close.

I don't think your clothes problem would be solved thou...as it is, I have no idea what to dress my new guy in >.< too small for my msd stuff, too tall for the yosd stuff.

21. here is a picture I`ve just done! and I want to share with you!!

22. call me stephanie are you asking for hybrids with just the star/moon heads?

Update! I worked on blandarn's beard some more! (Not sure if ya'll see the difference...)

I'm quite pleased now. Hm, if I could only settle his baldness...to leave bald, or to make dwarven hairs....

23. Oh no, I was just wondering what other bodies they could fit on. Like... if I did a split with someone that they got the dragon body and I got the head <.< >.> I don't think Ltf would work.

I'd give him a huge head of hair like Gimili on LotRs haha

24. skyealloway, your dwarf really is the most outstanding and convincing dwarf I have seen on DoA yet ^_____^.

Nothing new from me, only that my Lankui arrived a couple of days ago. I've finally painted him and now my two bugs hang out happily together:

25. Mustangsally, yes, she's a Dong Dong :)

26. *** Question:
Does anyone have any pictures of the new larger tinies Mika, Hiro etc...
What clothing can they wear?
Shoes?
wigs, eye etc..

Would love to see a comparison photo taken next to a yo-sd.

29. AND we are back. Does anyone have DZ 26cm dolls can tell me which Leeke size fits? I really love the Lavender Rose color.

30. I have been looking and can't seem to find anything on these dolls here. There was a thread quite sometime ago, but it's been closed. Does anyone have any of these dolls? Are they similar in size to Volks YO-SD? I'm planning on buying one and would love to see some owner pictures and hear about them :)

31. There's one problem with them. DollZone actually have two different lines of doll that are all called BB. Some are 25cm and some are more like 16cm I think.

I have a BB Ani called Maylea. She fits most LittleFee clothes but a few things are too tight because she's a tiny bit more chubby. Here she is.

BTW I always thought that the two sizes should be in two different threads.

32. Thank you for the clarification, that really helps, and it explains why the other thread I found had no pics of these dolls. I just ordered a Nani, and I believe she is the same size as Ani. Your girl is adorable!

I hope that more people out there with this size, the 26cm, will post here :) I'd love to see more and hear more about them!

33. I have Ani and Kay-they have been here for over 5 years. Nice sturdy little dolls, slightly shorter than my Volks kids but they can share most clothes. Tiny feet (3cm), much shorter than the Volks Yos (4cm).

34. [IMG]
They are VERY cute- here is Misha Albert Einstein. I love these little guys.

35. cirquemom- I love Albert! How cute!!

Thanks everyone for sharing! I'm having fun looking at clothes on etsy.

36. [IMG]

This is an old picture of my Jing, Miki.

Sheยดs technically a boy, because Jing was only available as a boy way back when I ordered him, and I liked the boy bodyยดs proportions ever so slightly better anyway (the difference is small, the legs are a tiny bit longer IIRC), but I asked for a girl-type face-up, and have been dressing her as a girl most of the time. She was my first tiny BJD (and still lives here).

The dress is from a Robert Tonner 10" Ann Estelle.

Tonnerยดs outfits and accessories for this line (as well as his new 10" Patsy line and some of his outfits for 14" Betsy McCall and 10" Linda McCall) work quite well with these tinies.

37. Huh, that was confusing. I guess when the forum came back online, they decided to separate the 16cm doll discussion from the 25cm? because I was totally subscribed to this before, and I remember there was more stuff. I think its pretty lame to segregate the tiny lines but whatever, what's done is done.

38. Actually I just started this for the older BB's. I couldn't find a thread for it anywhere, I think there used to be one, and it was deleted. I love dollzone's older line of 25cm BB dolls, and was hoping to see more pics of them :)

As a side, my girl has arrived, and pics of her will follow as soon as my statistics homework is finished!

39. It does seem that they are trying to keep separate threads for the two DZ tiny sizes now. I noticed there are still some Moon and Star dragon posts in the other thread though. It seems to make sense, since the 26cm and 16cm aren't really the same scale, but it is a little messy right now.

I got a notice from MOC that my Moon is shipping to me next week, so I'll post some pics when I have a chance to take some. It will be blank and naked, but I'm not going to let that stop me.

40. Well, that may be true, but there has definitely been some moderator work here - if you go back to page one of this thread, the first post is dated 2010. I think the mod's moved the thread you tried to start into this weird thread. Before the system update, all dollzone yo-sds and smaller were discussed in one thread. I really didn't mind that they were not the same scale; my thinking is that dollzone releases a lot of odd sized dolls - such as moon and the flower ones and such, and I liked having all of that in one place so I could enjoy dolls I didn't have.

41. I was referring to the difference in scales between the 26cm and 16cm sizes. I fixed my post to clear that up. The dragons are definitely 26cm. Their heads can go on the human body of that size. It was a bit easier to look at it all in one place, but in theory now you don't have to look up a doll to figure out if its big tiny or tiny tiny... At least you won't once the threads are straightened out.

42. I'm glad they merged the threads. I love seeing all types of dolls too, I was just having trouble finding info specifically related to these, I was just super confused, I think they've fixed it now though :)

I am hoping to finally take a photo of my as of yet nameless Nani this afternoon, but I must finish my stats first :(

43. New wig for Pоо

44. Here is my newest little girl! Still not sure on a name yet.

45. Yeah, I'm totally confused as to which thread the new 26cm dolls like Mika are supposed to belong to. He is 26cm but does not look like the traditional DZ bb 26cm (more fantasy). I also have a GuoGuo that has the same new body. And, what about the new anthros? Technically this thread based on size, I guess...:?

46. kurogane yay someone understands my confusion!

About the new anthros, the face on that kitty girl is so flippin cute! (I'm assuming she gets discussed in this thread....) What body is she one thou?

Here's my new Moon-Boy being creepy. I have decided to call him Pi Lo Chun. He's actually very bright white resin and the eyes he came with are a nice neutral grey, but these are the colors I ended up with between the crappy interior lighting and photoshop fixes.

I've got plenty of other photos of him from this weekend in my Flickr photostream. I did a little headswapping experiment with my Doll Leaves slim MSD size girl if anyone is curious. The Doll Leaves resin isn't as white as Dollzone, at least not with a year old Doll Leaves.

Bonus nerd points for anyone who thinks of a big red T-rex when they read "Moon-Boy". :hamster:

48. iwasteela -Your Moon-boy is very cute! How do you plan to blush him? I look at that body and get over whelmed! So much area to cover!

skyealloway -I think Miss Kitty is on the new 26cm female body, but comes with paw hands by default and human ones can be ordered extra. I wish they had a picture of the head with out a wig on so I could see if the ears are held on with magnets. It looks like Mr Bunny's ears are 'strung' on. Humm, I have to stop thinking of them!

49. I'm thinking I'll do just the head, hands, and feet to start. I may end up doing something on his tail, but I plan to carry him around and play with him too much to worry about screwing it all up. I will probably use some greys and greens and try to do something scaley on his head. He's going to be blank for a while, since I've never done a faceup and I want to practice a few things first.

50. I wish dollzone had posted a picture of the new dolls completely nude and wigless, I'm having a hard time envisioning how the animal parts work on the new body (which I'm not terribly familiar with anyway)

51. In regards to the Miss Kitty wigless, they have her blank head under the BB head option on the side

I was creeping on her, since she's so cute x3
it looks like they're held on by magnet

52. In a way, I'm glad they separate the DZ tiny thread. I didn't get help from the old thread regarding the 26cm line because everyone had 16cm dolls. This way I can ask and get answers :3 but I do miss seeing all the DZ tinies.

Anyways, I am happy to see another Nani owner.

53. Do you guys know if the DZ Moon is double jointed?
or like, is there a review on her? I'm really curious about her mobility o:

54. I just got a Moon! He is single jointed in the elbows, and barely jointed in the knees. There is a knee joint, but it doesn't really bend. I guess it could swivel a bit if you really wanted it to. The tail sections can swivel around to get it into a sort of swishing pose. Since there are three toes on each foot, you can take more advantage of the ball joint at the ankle which I think makes up for some of the limited knee mobility.

I took a few pictures this past weekend, but I wasn't really pushing to see what kind of posing was possible:
http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=79582266@N00&q=moon

I can try out some more posing this weekend if you're interested. Is there anything in particular you want me to try?

The grabby claws are the best part.
