It is a yo Carter... cool. I just got a fullset Ginny today from DDE and I am in love with the body which is hands down better than my other dolls posing and her face is so precious.. Does any have ideas where to buy clothing that fits the b27-004 body?

My yo Carter should be here on Tuesday along with the rest of my larger order~!
I'm super excited about him (and my mermaid hybrid to be/other hybrid stuff) but I still haven't made a solid plan of what'll happen with him.

 

I've found that a lot of stuff that I buy for my girl's body fits her no problem. It's been some ttya yosd (big but that's their style), various little fee things, and I recently got a Doll Heart dress that fits (only the slightest bit loose around her chest). So, perhaps most proper yosd sized things and some littlefee things?
Shoes are another matter all together... I've no real luck find her shoes outside of those made by DZ.

 

Dollzone could just take my money! Gahd, releasing cute YoSDs event after event. Little Snow took my heart, pierced right through to my wallet, hahahaha! I wish they could release a Little Benjamin or a Little Merlin, I bet they would be cute as a YoSD.

 

My order SHOULD BE arriving today! Since I ordered directly from Dollzone, I'm hoping to see that sweet sweet Dollzone logo on the shipping box~

 

Yo-Carter is reaaaalllyyy cute! Distributors do still use the whole Dollzone box, even the corrugated Dollzone box. Though I'm real curious how ordering directly from Dollzone is like. I'm so used to Alice's, and they've been good to me!

 

It was really interesting. I've done it once before, a long long time ago, for a single doll.
This order had the Frieda/Trieda body only (the flower mermaid one) in it, so I had to do it through them instead of a dealer, since most dealers wouldn't do the back and forth in the way that would've needed to happen. In fact, DZ almost didn't do it c.c;
Their person who replied to the emails was generally really nice! There was a few hiccups with my order (mostly in terms of the final payment from me and the EMS issue) but I'm overall able to recommend ordering directly from them in the future!
I normally would've gone through Alice's Collections or maaaaybe Denver Doll, though. I like Alice's, super sweet and I got my DZ yo body through them last time.

 

A yo-sd Benjamin, oh my goodness. I wouldn't be able to contain myself!

So! I decided that I -will- be keeping my yo Carter! Here he is with my girls Moon (Mushroom Peddler Hoot head on the dollzone 27-004) who's body came in today and Amethyst (Aileendoll SE mod cyclops on the dollzone 27-004 body as well).
Now I just need to make/buy some clothes just for him. And do his faceup. And get a wig.
I will say that I love the new boy body! Everything is so well sculpted with so much detail. He sits, stands, and poses so well, too! His feet seem a bit... long, but that's okay.

 

Congratulations on getting him! I agree, I actually got addicted with the new boy body because of the sculpting and posing but the feet seems long. Your dolls look awesome!

Quiet and Insane - Thanks! I kinda want to keep a soft/floral theme to him overall. Which won't be too hard, I think, to keep to.

So, I also feel that yo-Carter would make a wonderful girl, if anyone is wondering, and I hope that Dollzone releases the yo-Carter again someday!
I still need to name my little bugger, get a wig for him, and give him a faceup. But I love him so much already.

As soon as I saw the fullset released I knew I wanted mine to be a girl and she told me her name right away. She is not human but some otherworldly kind of being.

Well, I'm in the process of reshelling a character into a Dollzone BB-Soom Hybrid girl named Tesla. I plan on doing a layaway for her body in the new year. She's the little person in my family.

 

I have a dollzone BB abby.
I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have noticed the BB 26 body has a lot smaller feet than normal YOSD.
Has anyone found any luck in getting shoes for their BB 29cm dolls? Where is a good place to buy? Thanks in advance!

 

Everyone's Yo-Carter's are adorable! He's such a cute little sculpt. Dropping by with an over edited photo of Shiloh, my Choco. He got a cute, new hairclip a little while ago which was a little freebie from ForMyDoll when I ordered a few wigs from them.

 

Admittedly, after a year, I actually recently gave up and ordered a bunch of Resinsoul feet (more regularly sized) for my crew. All shoes I’ve owned have fallen off DZ feet or otherwise looked quite bad. I got tired of fighting it.

I’d say your best bet is the shoes DZ provide themselves unfortunately!

I would probably have to venture into making my own.

I was wondering if maybe smaller dolls (pullip/blythe), if the shoes were on the bigger side for them, if they could fit. I guess I can give it a go and see, I have a unattended pullip so it wouldnt be a loss for me to try.

I'll keep you guys updated on my shoe adventure!

 

They are very pretty feet!
I have found that being so small, they require extra work to balance the doll because there's a lot of weight in the hips. I'm looking forward to the more standard-sized feet for mitigating that problem too.

If you do find good matches though, I'd love to know!

@Cydril - Your Nyu is adorable! I did consider one way back when I first got into the hobby, my tastes have changed a lot since then, but I really love looking at other peoples'. Pity there's so few around.

Hello, Blackie-Neko! I'm a lurker here. I do have an Evan and a Yo-Carter and awaiting Little Snow. Seems that Yo-Carter is soooo popular, he's very cute so no wonder.

Anyway, I did buy a regular Yo-SD shirt, thinking that it would fit. It does but is a bit tight on the armpit area. I'll post pics.

 

I have found some canvas sneakers for Taeyang (Pullip's boyfriend?) that fit really well on the 29cm DZ girl. I have several dolls with the same or similar size feet. Doll Chateau B-01 body, Dust of Dolls Appi, Nobledolls Radicelle, and Orange Tea Dolls Pollet can all share the Taeyang sneakers from Mimiwoo. It looks like they are labeled as fitting Hujoo Berry as well.

 

I wasn't paying any attention lately to dolls smaller than msd but after just stumbling across Little Rain and Little Snow I think I'm going to have to set them firmly on my wishlist. Crossing my fingers things go well for a few more weeks, perhaps I'll be able to order one soon

I've admired Valeriana for several years, and brought home Moon of my own in December. This isn't her final look, her face-up was done by her previous owner, and while lovely, doesn't fit the charater I have in mind. Anyway here's Chan-

@IzabethS - Violet is so very pretty. I love seeing photos of her. I always thought I'd like to have a Moon head on a human body (but dragon booty won me over, even if it means she's an awkward shape).

Speaking of dragons...guess who turned four on Friday? Her new belt is actually an anklet I found during the Boxing Day sales last year.

Hey guys! (nearly placed this in the mini Dollzone thread cause i mostly have msd's xD)
I'm considering a Dollzone YoSD (one with the newer boy or girl body) no clue wich yet, but i'm curious, do they fit in most standard size yoSD clothing? Somehow they seem slimmer :S

 

Hmm, I think probably yes and no? Their top halves are very slim, and can fit barbie clothes. In fact they're thinner even than resinsoul 1/6, which are very slim (and can also fit barbie/ken/similar ot doll clothes). The bottom half however, especially on the girl body, is big. So big I ended up making my own patterns and specifically sewing trousers and jeans and the like for my girl myself.

I have got her in some "standard" yosd clothing right now, and it fits her in the hips, but absolutely swamps her everywhere else. It works for the character the doll ended up becoming, but it is technically very ill-fitting, and if you wanted something that looked less hand-me-down-from-big-sibling (that's what my Candice looks like haha), I think you'd have to look at other brands or make your own.

The best fit is probably most likely to be custom clothing! I think everything else is either going to be enormous on them, or not make it past their hips.

I finally have my girl Claudette (Bertha) all situated (the shoes were most difficult, they're for a doll called Marley Wentwort), so I'll share her, although looking at her I think her wig is overwhelming so I'm waiting for a short straight bob. I love her strange face.

 

She's very pretty. Definitely one of the more unique sculpts out there. Good luck with your wig hunt!
