Just got a Wendy for xmas! (I don't get to see my friends to often sadly) they totally surprised me with this beauty!!



Custom dye and faceup by myrretah. And she's not quite finished. I'm beside myself. They have been too generous!!

My samantha is finally in customs. This is the longest wait ever.

 

I've always loved the size of the 19.5cm girls, but the Iris and Ivy face molds simply didn't click with me. I'm glad I waited because I simply adore Eugenia. I already have ideas brewing for what I'd do with her. ♥ It's going to be difficult to wait, though. I don't think I've ever pursued such a new doll before.

Wynn: I don't have a girl this size yet, but I would certainly appreciate a tutorial for when I get Eugenia. c: It's very cute!

Ahhhh not new heads....lol so cute! and thanks! lol she's all i never knew i wanted until she was there in front of me. I am definitely thinking of keeping the name Isla, she seems to be carrying it well. Funny thing is, I had been thinking of making a trio of queens...Now i have Isla who seems to have bonded to my DC fae girl, Eolande...thats water/air, earth, now i just need a little spitfire.

I absolutely adore the new tiny ballet feet. Temptation is clawing at me to get one of these girls for my Iris to play with.

I just placed an order for a blank WS Abby along with her fullset outfit.

I'm excited for her but also quite nervous because I have literally seen only one non stock pic of her which was from a Dollzone Dollism booth.

 

DraconicMaiden, your Isla is beautiful! I finally worked up the courage to dye my Wendy yellow, and I'm hoping that I can do a paint job that does her justice! Seeing yours is an inspiration

DraconicMaiden - She was a very lucky catch. At the first doll market I ever went to she was sitting there at the dealer's table looking rather lonely. I walked past thinking about how cute she was and even though she was heavily discounted I thought that I'd get in trouble for coming home with a new doll only a month after the arrival of my first doll. I did two more passes during the day, picked her up, looked into her golden eyes and my heart just melted and I bought her on the spot. She was the first doll I ever pulled apart and blushed, the first face up I ever did (and boy have I learned a lot since then!)

 

Well that's just such a sweet story! Ugh, moon has moved into grail doll status bc they're never around and I'll still never understand why they went disco. I'll live vicariously through you in the meantime! Keep the pictures coming!

 

There's a body on the marketplace at the moment actually, but it's a hybrid and the Moon head is no longer with it. But they're around! Keep an eye out and you'll find one someday! Meanwhile...I'm sure I've posted this photo before but I adore it so I'll post it again.

There was a Moon head on the MP too, I don't know if it's still there.

I think my 'human' Wendy has the same body as Iris/Ivy and Anita/Eugenia. If anyone else is inclined to sew for these girls there are free patterns for Dawn Topper at Persephone.com that seem to fit.

Yes, those bodies are all the same, give or take the extra parts like wings and the ballet feet.

The few MH things I've tried have fit my Dale but they are snug, especially around the bust.

 

Never thought of Choco being a girl, but I like what you have done with yours.

Thank you Xanadu dolls, Choco is really cute as a boy too... I have one on an impl body, I did get that body for my Krumi who stole a 2D dolls body planned for another head... I bought this normal pink Choco head to be able to sell the body with it, but I might keep him in the end... He is on hollidays at my mum and I think I miss him :
