My Seola arrived today! Even though she's blank and without the proper wig, eyes, and clothes, I'm still MADLY in love!!! I haven't been this excited about a new doll since my first!

 

I paid the ransom yesterday...£24...just over .... but now my Yeondu is on the delivery van as we speak ! zozolala, I hope your ransom is very small, it must be a worry not knowing how much it is till she comes to the door!

 

I just received a reply to my question as to when my 13yr body would ship and they said one to two weeks more!

I guess the one thing that I won't have to do is deal with a customs ransom when she does arrive. Glad to hear that your have your new girl, Treehugger, and I hope Zozo​ your have your sweetie very soon.

 

Ow, thank you all for your support! My girl was released from Customs last night, so she is almost on her way.
Treehugger: I think I'm facing the same fee.. €50 or something. But at least our girls will be home soon, now!

Red_Delerium: Yay, congrats! I think I know exactly how you feel My 7-yr Seola Emma was my first DT, and even without eyes (they took 3 more weeks to arrive) I was totally in love, I just couldn't stop staring at her. My avatar is from that time, she is very special to me. Did you pick a name yet?

Aw, Sortilege, I'm sorry to hear that.. So it seems DT get their orders back from the production center in small batches, and ship them right away. I hope you will get your shipping notice soon. Usually they live up to their -final- promise.

 

Woooooo! Yeondu arrived this morning!!
I'm so thrilled, she's GORGEOUS! For a moment when I was unwrapping her, I even thought they sent me the wrong head, she really looks SO much like Seola's older sister, haha! I couldn't be more happy choosing Yeondu for that role.
And the 13-yr body is lovely. Sturdy, but extremely elegant - she immediately draped herself over a chair as if she always belonged there.
I managed to squeeze her in a short bob wig of her sisters (very flapper), and now she's sitting next to me while I just stare at her. I can't wait for the weekend, to try my hand on her face-up and body blushing.

And another great thing: she was delivered without FEES!! O_o Just handed over to me. I was shocked!

 

Yay for Yeondus! Congrats treehugger & zozo! And NO fees for you, zozo? Excellent!

And yes, zozo, she does have a name - Nora. One of my favorite books as a little girl was "Noisy Nora" - although, I'm not sure that it was ever all that popular or well known...

 

Woohoo...congratulatins Zozo! I can just picture here in Flapper style and I'm so glad that she's even better than you expected...isn't that always such a joy?

And thank you for you wishes on my 13yr. girl. Poor Amy has been sitting in a drawer awaiting her body. Hopefully DT will be sending me good new within a couple weeks. Fingers crossed!

 

seems a little slow here right now....I am very excited to finally have ordered a 15 year boy body for a body-hopping head I've had since 2008. I have wanted him on a DT body for almost that entire time so this is so huge for me XD

I litterally just sent in my order, so I have to wait for the reply and then to pay, but I'm beyond happy!!

As soon as the 18 boy body is released I'll be in the same boat. I'm buying it for the MsDoll Ganymede head that I've had lurking in a box since 2009. I've been waiting for ages for the perfect dancer's body for him since the DT15 body was too short. Thanks St. James! It's for a Migidoll Ryu I bought second-hand....the poor thing has had 3 bodies with me (one twice, does that count as 4? XD) and I know he was on a lot of different ones with his previous owner too. I've been in love with the 15 yr since I started getting into BJDs, I can't wait to get it!!

Oh that 18yr will be perfect as a dancer! Have they said when they're releasing it?

Is anyone still waiting on an older order from DT? Mine was placed on Oct. 2 for a 13yr. Oriental skin body only and it still isn't here. There told me two weeks ago it would be one to two weeks. Don't know what the hold up is, but would like to know why it hasn't shipped. Just wanted to see if anyone else is in the same situation. Thanks.

 

It's possible Dollshe is still the holdup =_= They were slowing DT down a while ago weren't they? And I know for a fact they are still not caught up.

 

YES - my order is about the same date for a body and she did tell me two more weeks nearly 3 weeks ago.

 

VampireAngel13 and TreeLore, I wrote again to DT yesterday and the reply was that they had my doll and would be shipping her next week. I sure hope this is the case but until I have the EMS number I'm not holding my breath. It could possibly have been a hold up because of Dollshe, but if they would just let us know I think it would relieve a lot of anxiety. TreeLore I hope your body is in this same group...Good Luck!

 

Sortilege: I'm glad to read you got some good news, finally! DT has always been very honest and reliable in my experience, and I'm sure they will hold up to their promise. As far as I know it is indeed Dollshe that is causing all the delays and trouble for them, and that that was why they had to switch to taking preorders.
Once you get your tracking number, your girl will be home very soon I hope she will fly smoothly!

I hope you guys get your orders soon. It ticks me off that DS is causing such a mess with their mistakes. I had gotten a message from DT saying they were going to ship my body this week, but after seeing how long it's taking for everyone to get theirs, I'm not going to hold my breath....

 

Thank you, Zozo, for your good wishes...I hope she's home soon as well. This is the first time I've had to wait this long for a doll from DT. Out of the six dolls I've ordered from them, I should consider myself lucky that all the others went so smoothly. I sure hope Dollshe fixes whatever problems they are experiencing so that Dollstown can get back to their prior lead time on orders. We can only hope.

Happy Dance!!! I just received my tracking number from Dollstown this morning, so in about five days Amy should have her body! Well, that's to say her body will be waiting for her as she's been shipped off to Jay for her faceup.

Well I emailed today and got a reply saying my body arrived yesterday and that she will ship in a week and send me ems tracking once it has shipped. I can't wait to stick my Glorydoll Lucy head on the body! I hope I can still connect to her ....

Ive wanted a DT elf body ever since I got into this hobby, and I figured Id better order one before everyone jumps in with the 18yrs orders--so I did!
Its good to see dollstown seems to be getting caught up with shipping, (congrats to people who have dollies coming home!) but I wouldn't really mind a long wait. I'm in the middle of a souldoll debacle that looks like it may take 4-6 months, so I'm used to it.

 

God what's going on with Souldoll now? It seems like so many companies are having issues all of a sudden! Or in the last year +

In any case, I hope they come through for you TreeLore! I'm tired of superlong waits myself, I know how hard it is to go from excited to ambivalent to kind of out of love with a doll you ordered due to wait :\

I'm in the same boat as you, wanted the body forever and now I don't mind a few months wait. Any more than that and I might throw darts. Not at Dollstown however. I have other companies to blame.

 

I see the 18yr body and new heads preorder starts on the 4th Feb, don't think I will be able to afford it then though.

About the souldoll wait, I ordered a doll almost 4 months ago thru DDE, and when I emailed to see how things were going recently, DDE said souldoll had not even sent their orders from 5 months ago yet.
They are apparently very backlogged.

Migidoll Ryu. He's been on a SD13 body for years, with periods of time on an Iplehouse and AOD body. All of them were...not great. I've wanted the DT for him forever! I seriously can't wait.

That's terrible about Souldoll. It makes me nervous that so many companies are doing this recently. They all seem to be taking on more than they can handle.

My Dollstown order arrived!!!

I got an Elf body, 7 years body, Amy head, Mini-Elysia head, and a pair of extra hands. They all arrived safely and are perfect. I ordered on 10/6 if that helps anyone else figure out when their dolls will ship.

got my elf body too. Anyone else have a problem getting it to sit up? I can get it to but it does require careful positioning till it works.

Now just waiting for my Doll Chateau bodies! urgh... LOL

I seriously wanted to cry (with happiness!) when I put my Ryu head on it. I don't think there is a more perfect body out there for him! Why did it take me so long to get one?! I'm so happy I want tote him around everywhere! But he's big XD

Hooray! I get to officially join the waiting room! Crawled out of bed early this morning to order an 18yr boy body. Had been thinking I'd do layaway, but once An Jong Hak sent me my total I just decided to pay in full and not prolong the agony. Fingers and toes crossed that it only takes four months!!!!

 

Placed my order for 18 y.old girl body and Rian 's head. Love this girl.

 

I just placed a 18 y.o. Rian order as well! She just blew me away. Will re-shell one of my oldest characters with this one, she's a perfect fit. suok2011 - what skin tone did you get?

 

Katyok, which girl are you re-shelling? I love the new girl body, but don't have a [really pressing] need for one at this time. I suspect she'll be meatier in person than she looks, much like the DT15 girl body.
I ordered my boy body in freshskin. The MsDoll Ganymede head I have is a pinky white, and it matches the pair of freshskin hands I bought in the marketplace a while back. Even if the color had changed since then, it will be the easiest to blush for a match.

 

Ordered the DT18 girl body in paleskin, bought a paleskin Susie head off ebay a few days ago so she will go nicely on the body.

 

Katyok, i've ordered her in Oriental. I have been ordering mostly in fair but decided to have one girl in bit darker colour. Love everything about new body and the new face is very cute.

St. James - it's teenage Anna, currently Dollmore Ha Yarn Cho. She is lovely, but has always been too stylized next to the the adult Anna who is Soom Meisa. Rian has exactly the same facial features, even the open mouth, but in a more childish form.

Anyone know why the Dollstown website is so difficult to order from? Plus the black screen, ugg my eyes go buggy. lol And from what I read, they don't do faceups at all?

Kimber35, I've never had trouble ordering from Dollstown. All you have to do is click on the giant Order tab at the top of the page and then click on the "write" button in the lower right. All of the info you have to submit is automatically listed for you. Once An Jong Hak writes back with your total and his Paypal address, you send payment.

The web design does seem to throw off people who are used to the generic Korean web shop template that newer companies use. I think it does a nice job of making it seem more like the homepage of a pair of artists rather than a commercial enterprise.

 

Earlier, I posted an order to Dollstown for an Estella girl head on an 18yr girl body (but he's going to be a boy after some modifications- my unhappy, it-didn't-work-out castrato)
I'm buying him on layaway because I don't want to put all the money down at once in case I need some for something else, but I think I will be able to pay him off early.

While I wait, does anyone know what size eyes Estella takes? I thought I saw it on the Dollstown site one time, but I can't find it.

Oh, I love your Anna! Something about her has always reminded me of Jennifer Connelly. Rian will be a wonderful, more realistic version.

Looks like the orders for the 18 girl are going to fill up before the boy. Not surprising. Has anyone inquired about how the casting is scheduled? I suppose it will be batches of twenty dolls the way DollsheCraft usually does things, but I know An Jong Hak has a different arrangement.

This will be my first Dollstown, and I'm really excited. I have liked their sculpts for a while, but I could not quite place them with a character, and they were a little too short before the 18yr bodies.
I wanted to spread the payments over three months, but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to wait and will dig into my slush fund to pay it off by the end of the month.

 

Joining the waiting room as I ordered an 18 girl body for one of my floating heads. This is going to be my most involved hybrid project as the body's pale tan and the head is a tan Domuya (about matches Volks Sunlight) and so will need to be heavily blushed to match. Still, the body is PERFECT for the character... can't wait!

 

Can we order just the headset from Dollstown? Anyone know?

I'm also waiting for a 15 yrs boy body for my Dollish U-me head. It was hipped on the 7th so I'm hoping for it to arrive next week.
