Looks like I have missed some posts here. Not sure how, but thanks for the help about the 5Y body.
Amazingly, my Mari 5Y came today! No shipping notice, so I was disappointed that she would not be here for Christmas. And then, I came home from work and there was the little card from the post office that I had a package from Korea waiting. You can bet that I wasted no time collecting it and she is absolutely precious. Just in time to play. Thank you DT!

Oh wow! What a wonderful group shot! Your gangs really do love to see each other........who is the dressed in green at the front please? It that a Mari?

 

What great bunch! How happy everyone must've been. I think the little one in the green dress looks like Ganga sculpt? Which sculpt is the Girl in the chair with the long blonde hair?

OK, the girl in green is my Mari on the 7yr body, called Mhairi and the girl in the chair is a Seola 7 on the elf body...I call her Cecily...

Yes, they do l;ike to meet up! Emma (my Ganga to the left of January) does like to catch up with her friends when they come over! (She also likes Jane's Penelope but doesn't see her that often...)

To my eternal shame, the girls were in summer dresses when their guests arrived so had to get changed for the meet...

My Mari head just went out for her faceup today. I will be counting days until she comes back home.

 

How exciting! I hope it is a quick turnaround too!

 

We amazingly have had 2 days of 60 degree weather in the middle of February. Not good for snow shoeing but a managed to give my little Amy a face.

hee hee, haven't been here for a while so great to see all the Christmas pics. Xiaoli, Amy looks really cute Here is my Seola (painted by OlesyaGavr), I didn't exactly forget about her, it's just I've not had time for dolls in ages so she has just been locked away in the dark.

I have a DT Daisy lad painted by Olesya so I an bound to like the way your Seola has been painted!

 

So glad she is out to play! She's so pretty, Vonbonbon.
Meanwhile, My Mari is home and I am just thrilled with her!

 

Oh gosh Theresa she is utterly adorable! I just want to hug her............and I love how you have dressed her too.

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, promise! It's been cold in Georgia the last few days, so Ganga5/Sarah Jane, is now wearing one of my favorite Dollheart outfits. Well, minus the hat...it only fits her bald head.

Hello! I recently adopted a beautiful Seola and thought I'd share her photo on here. She is wearing a borrowed dress in this photo but I've since made her one of her own....I'm just not sure it's 'her', so she is currently waiting for me to fathom out her style!
She will be known as Mouse.

Thanks very much Teddy! I made the wig myself but for a doll with a slightly smaller head. So it's prone to falling off Mouse's head! I have just glued it on for now but it's easily removed. The flyaways were a bit annoying as it was windy but I guess that's normal then!

Hehehehehee.....she isn't altogether happy to be Alice is she! But I think she looks smashing.
I must find a photo of Megan (one of my Ganga's) dressed as Alice and add it here.

I have to say that my own Seola also has a new dress and she's equally unimpressed. Although I have to admit that having made if for her, I'm now in agreement with her that it just isn't her.....or maybe it is the shoes, which obviously you can't see in this photo....I just need to find her style. Is she a modern girl or old fashioned? She tells me she's NOT old fashioned, and that this dress "definitely IS!"
Bit demanding these girls, aren't they?!!

 

It is funny how they tell us so much about themselves.
I think it is a gorgeous dress and my Megan would love to wear it..............but none of my other girls would as they agree with Mouse and say it is far too old fashioned! LOL!

 

Thank you so much, everyone! I think Dorie is most concerned about getting dirt in her hair if she goes down the rabbit hole. Perhaps she'd like going thru the Looking Glass instead. The dress is from ebay. I love Mouse's dress, but then I like old fashioned dresses.

Adding to the Seola pics - here's my Fawn, right after I redid her faceup. Her original one was so old and degraded that it was literally smudging off. She was my first BJD, BTW, and about eight years old when I got her from a friend. That was just over three years ago.

Your Fawn is a perfect Seola. So Beautiful.
Seola 7 was my first BJD also, and she still completely owns my heart.

 

Lady Madrigal, your Fawn is very nice too Seola can look so different depending on her faceup, you did a good job on her.

 

These two girls are both Seola sculpts, with completely different looks.

 

Loving all the Seola pics (and Alina too ). Fawn doesn't show her age at all, and her face up is lovely. Seola wasn't my first BJD, nor my first DT, but she's still a favorite. My 3 DT girls have been with me the longest of any I have now.

 

Great photos everyone. The two Seola girls are so different theresa 226, you'd never guess at a glance that they're the same sculpt.
Teddy your two Alina girls are very different too, and very sweet!
I would want that little Sock Monkey too, he's very cute!

 

What I also like about the Seola head ( and a few others), they also fit the Elf body very well. One Seola is on the 7Y and my other on the Elf.
