Dollshe Ladies

    1. Thank you! That sucks he wouldn’t sell like that though :/ I did check the neck and head sizes and it seems it should work! Thanks! :)

    2. He does sell spare parts though. He’s just unwilling to modify the fullsets, especially at discounted price.
But if one orders a popular face like Amanda they don’t have to worry about having a spare head no one wants/ wasting money on an extra head ;)

    3. Does anyone have pictures of the modern grey skin with a faceup on?

    4. I don't have the Diana head, but I do now have both the 26f and 16f bodies. I just wanted to note that the neck on the 26f is considerably longer than the 16f. As I've said, I don't have a Diana head, but I have tried my Ausley on the 16f body and found that she would need a neck donut otherwise her neck looks very short. I'd think that this would be reversed in putting the Diana head on the 26f body (I have seen this combination in a photo, can't remember where though, sorry) and the neck would look strangely long with the Diana head. It would of course take minimal modification to fix that though.

    5. Thank you :)

    6. My new gal. It was nervewracking waiting given the postal delays and buying the head and body from two different sellers here. But as of late last week my Amanda is here. Now I have to go wig shopping as I do not have anyone else that takes a 7-8" size. And this pin head does. The red thing is just perched on her head BTW.

      Warning nekkid boobies NSFW:

    7. Congrats on your Amanda! She is so pretty :)

Here is my girl so far! I did the faceup, body blushing and tattoos for her! This is not her permanent wig or eyes I just couldn't resist getting her together a bit. Her name is Rose

    8. oh wow she looks so beautiful! I am always amazed on how different sculpts can look just changing make up and wigs.
The wig you did looks especially nice!

I am lusting over Lisa and Diana and have them in my cart for quite some time... but hearing about Dollshe infinite waiting times puts me off quite a bit, so I am unsure about taking the leap...They look surreal, but maybe I shouldn't splurge? hmmm...

    9. @micchix
I have Diana and I love that doll very much! But please know that there are some issues with that sculpt. The knees are known to crack at a certain point on the lower leg and the shoulders do not hold their pose because the cup shape on the torso is not fitted well to the upper arm shape. Also, her head cannot be removed without removing the s-hook because the hole in the head is too small. I think it is a very charismatic doll and I'm so glad I have mine. But it is worth including those details in your consideration given the extreme wait times.

    10. Thank you so much! I know the feeling I am wanting Lisa so badly! I’m trying to decide whether to order now or to wait until she is in doll form. Since she is just a sketch could be 4+ years or more haha. So tough to decide. Diana is gorgeous as well :love

    11. I really love her sculpt, and I actually like how dollshe bodies are, but I didn't know about these issues! Thanks for the heads up :> I might look into hybrids, but the size I'd like to buy (16F Fashion Maxi) it's a little weird and I want her in Pale Tan so resin match could be not great... ahh.. decisions decisions :whee:

Yeah same, also the FANAL sale makes it so yummy but am I really wanting to wait that long? The only question here is waiting 4+ years without the doll AND the money or waiting 4+ years without the doll only :o I'll hesitate another few days and I'll consider...

    12. I think, it is a term, which combines FINAL and FATAL. I already have two Dianas, a Maya and two Lisas in my orders list... *_*

      • x 1
    13. I wouldn’t worry too much about final (or fanal) sales in Dollshe land. I ordered bernard for the “final” time in 2015, and then for the “final” time again in 2017, and then his heads disappeared in the Mail out for a faceup, and they sold me a new one for the “final” time in 2018 for that too...

    14. I caved and ordered an Erica :mwahaha

    15. I kid you not, this made me laugh out loud!! I think, after few days of sober thinking, that if I have to buy something, it will be one Diana in oriental tan skin, the 250$ price mark is way too yummy .. I think I'll wait until Lisa and Maya come out, see how they look in resin and consider then how much money I want to throw Mr Kim's direction :D

I love how you styled your Amanda :love can't wait to see you with an Erica!! Let's cross fingers all goes smooth :eusa_pray
Do you have her in MSD or SD size?

    18. Probably been asked a thousand times, but where do you get your shoes?
My Diana came yesterday and I need high heeled boots for her. I did look at dollfie dream but can't find measurements for a DD. I think they are a little too small measurement wise anyway. I knew her feet at 8.2 would be big, but they look so much bigger when you look at them in the flesh so to speak!

    19. I bought a few pairs, mainly flat but I did buy some heels as recommended on here from rRabit. I am currently at work but could send you more details tonight. Also the SartoriaJ heeled shoes fit very well (not the ones for their own feet but the ones that say they will be a loose fit on Iple feet). They do also sell some high boots.

    20. Hello again @avrilpaeony , I saw a pair on etsy but unfortunately they are only a 7 cm.
Thank you that would be so kind.

    21. Hi, sorry for the delay but I've just gone back to work and also hubby's birthday yesterday.
This is what I bought, tall flat black boots from Alice's collections, BT306 in 70cm size.
SophieToyParadise on etsy also sell boots got a flat grey pair in 1/3 size, they do larger but the 1/3 have an outside length of 10cm. SartoriaJ sell shoes/boots which fit Dollshe feet, I have a couple of pairs of heels, not the ones that are made for their own dolls but the ones that say they fit Iple feet but will be too large and sometimes say they fit Dollshe. Also as recommended on here I bought the Dark Night pointed boots from rRabit 17/CV3. Photo below of them on my Twigling body feet, they are a bit long for her but look good.

    22. Thank you so much for that, it's really helpful @avrilpaeony , I will pop and check them out.

Has anyone successfully used smaller feet on the body?

    23. I've managed to get an Amanda (with the new head) second hand, so once she gets here I'll have things to show off! All my dollshe bodies at the moment are hybrid-ed with other companies or currently off topic heads, so I've been rather quiet. I think that new Amanda will be able to keep her head though, so that's good lol.

    24. Back with an enquiry...Has anyone successfully changed feet with these girls? If so what did you change them to? Any help would be much appreciated as I'm tearing my hair out at the mo. I'm trying to make a pair and it's impossible with the toes at that angle.

    25. So far I haven't managed to find a foot type that works for the 16F perfectly. The good news is that her ankle ball is more rounded than the 26f so she actually has some hope of hybrid feet though. I just tried a resinsoul heel foot in her, but the ball is TOO round so it flops front and back a little much. It might be possible to mod the feet with a little milliput or apoxie though to make them work. They're not as pretty as general dollshe feet, but they are smaller.

    26. @TatterPunk I even contemplated chopping the toes off lol, I might actually file the heel down a teensy bit. I found an old pair of boots today, but they are extremely tight like a coat of paint. I looked at Iplehouse eid feet, but the bracket hook is all wrong. I don't want to do anything too drastic, but I'm thinking I may have to.
Thanks for trying that resinsoul foot, these feet are like boats!

    27. No problem. As for the Iplehouse feet, again you could probably make them a shiny new ankle ball with something like milliput if you're up for a little additive modding. I pretty much gave up on trying to find heel shoes for my Iple girls. Of course I only have the one set of heel feet anyway, but since I like big stompy boots it's okay that the flat feet only fit "uncle" sizes. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

    28. Thanks for your help @TatterPunk , I will let you know how I get on.

    29. Ok I am back imploring for help on feet again! I have tried numerous feet from my collection on my Diana but nothing fits. Has anyone successfully changed Diana's feet for some other sculpts feet ? I am tearing my hair out as my whole cosplay outfit now hinges on the shoes. I am about to throw everything out of the window, I am so frustrated with her "boat" foot size.

    30. @candy kitten Have you considered heel feet for boys? Maybe the feet made by Monochrome would work? At least then she could wear all the heels that are made for boys.
I got frustrated with my iplehouse girl having feet too wide for anything and actually shaved down the outside edge of her feet and removed the pinky toe so now she can squeeze into some shoes made for Volks SD16. At least there are enough shoe makers that there are options now.

    31. I was actually contemplating sanding the feet down a bit...I did also think about chopping toes off lol, but I would have to pluck up the courage I think. Thanks for the tip, I will take a look!

    32. It doesn't immediately register that she's missing a toe since I sanded it down to look like the natural outside of the foot but it does look a bit funny once you notice.

    33. Hello, sorry for intruding! Does anybody know if Dollshe fresh and Dollzone normal still are a close match? Thank you!

    34. @Demiurgo - isn't DollZone a bit notorious for their fluctuating resin colors? Also, DZ doesn't have a "normal" resin, their colors are white, peach, pink, yellow, and gray. DZ white is (or used to be) on the creamy side, so that might be the best match to Dollshe fresh, but the opacity match is going to be way off

I actually dropped by to request owner pictures of Erica Snow. I ordered one back in May 2020 (along with an extra Diana head) and I'm waffling over whether I should just cancel my order and find another sculpt for this character, or keep waiting and hope that DollShe eventually fulfills my order :sigh

    35. Have a quick question - Has anyone done a successful hybrid of a Diana head on a 65cm Dollshe 26F body (the version the Amanda and Erica heads have)? If so, would the size / scale work with that head on that body? Or would the Diana head be too small in scale (I know the neck opening on Diana is really small).

Thank you for any and all info!

    36. I ordered an extra Diana head to possibly do just that (if Erica Snow doesn't feel quite right in person for the the character I'm planning to shell). The neck circumferences are the same and Diana's head might actually be a little bit bigger than Erica's, if they actually match the measurements DollShe posted. Heads up though, DollShe refused to sell me Diana on the 26F body, some horsesh*t about complications caused by mix and matching mold sets and not having a uniform usage life for them as a result of it (which makes no sense because both Amanda and Erica are on that body, and they sell both the body and various heads separately). DollShe also said that the fit and mobility aren't that great for Diana's head on the 26F body, but it didn't sound like anything a little bit of judicious sanding wouldn't fix (at least to me)

    37. Thank you, @Girrl, for this very helpful info!

    38. Hi! I have a quick question regarding Dollshe Diana. I ordered her around a year ago and have been in contact with Dollshe. Despite the wait I am still very excited for her, as she will be my first bjd.

I'd like to ask what shops, etsy or otherwise, would be good to buy clothes and shoes that would fit here. Any stores that people have personal experience with would be nice to hear about!

    39. I would also like to know about shoes for Diana. Her feet are larger even than my Spiritdoll Proud girl body. None of the shoes I have fit. Maybe she'll have to shop in the men's department?

It took almost two years for Diana to arrive. Well, happy Christmas to me! I love her! I love that she comes with three heads. I feel like the OE is closed enough and the SA is too closed. So far I've only painted the OE head and the SA. I modded the SA eyes to be more open. Here's a picture of that head:

    40. Congrats! Always great to see another Diana. ^___^
She does fit well in standard male SD sized shoes, since her feet are 8x3 cm, I believe. :3nodding:

    41. Oh thank you! Good to know.

    42. Congratulations Jay! She is lovely! I love her with the bangs. :)

I'm still waiting for my Diana...going on a year and nine months now...:huh?:

    43. A beautiful girl. Your mod is perfect!!

    44. Thank you! Ugh, the waiting time is ridiculous. Mine came unstrung so I think shipping was faster. But I know they're going out now so, hopefully, you won't have too much longer to wait.

That's so nice! Thank you! I'm really happy with how she turned out.

Here's the OE head, no mods. I gave her a softer faceup and I like this look too. The beauty spot on her head is in remembrance of my darling mother who had one in that place.

    45. I like this look too. The beauty mark is a sweet tribute.

    46. Did DollShe stop making the SD Diana? I went to the website to get measurements on her and she's not there.

    47. I honestly don't recommend buying ANYTHING from Dollshe. The company is a total shambles and many customers are waiting 2+ years (some way more than that) for dolls. Some get nothing at all. As for whether he has stopped producing her, not sure, but I don't think many people know what is going on with that company...

    48. Got my Dollshe after 1.5 years, btw.

Last time I cheked Dollshe (1.5 years ago), Diana was only in her 50 cm form.

    49. Does anyone have the measurements for Diana?

    50. Still waiting for my Diana...over two years now...and counting.:huh?:

I'm almost surprised DOA still lets us talk about this company here...after all the 'questionable' practices they seem to have.

    51. Banning something doesn't make it go away; it just shoves it under a very opaque rug, though I think we all wish it were that simple.

Honestly, It's hard to feel sympathy for anyone that buys Dollshe at this point, especially in a hobby this small, with receipts front and center. Willful ignorance? Wishful thinking? Who knows; I can't wrap my head around it whatsoever.

    52. Talking about the problems here is the best way to let other members know there is a problem. I once lost two dolls heads because the artist I sent them to had been banned on DOA and I didn’t see the warnings! I had successfully used the artist before.

      • x 3
    53. Well, I'm glad we can still talk about Dollshe dolls too. I hope someday they fullfill all their orders. I do think they get a pass...on how they do business...only because they have beautiful dolls and seem to eventually fullfill orders....eventually.

      Edited to add:

I do sometimes wonder how many customers finally cancelled their orders....or who has the the longest wait time to date? But maybe that is better for the general Dollshe thread. :)

      P.S.
I knew what I was getting into when I ordered Diana. I swore I was never going to order directly from Dollshe ever again...but the price of her whole package was about the same as most heads...so I took a chance. I don't complain often...but even the company I ordered her through (BJDivas) doesn't do business with Dollshe anymore because of their ways.

At this point I don't know if she will ever be sent (and maybe I will be surprised if she is)...but I kept a kernal of hope alive.

    54. I actually considered buying 3 or 4 Diana's on sale so I could resell them for more, but not worth the dollshe aggravation. Right now I'm looking for a body that will go with my Copper Oriental Diana head - any suggestions? I got a Doll Family H and it is way too big.

    55. I found this post and hopefully someone could point me in the right direction. I have a Dollshe Erica Snow and would like to see 26F head and 17F body.

      Anybody have any references?

Proportions is what I am looking.

    56. I just grabbed my girls to see if I could swap heads for you, but I realized my Diana's S hooks is too huge to get off through the hole In her head... I'm actually not sure how to get her head off because of that...
I'll keep trying to see if I can figure something out ...
