Shoes: I have had Kim Zentner on Flickr make some shoes for Ausley. She has Ausley feet so the shoes fit great - she is in Canada.


Iplehouse open toed shoes work:

And some male boots fit well:

 

Yes, flat feet. Yes the Iplehouse shoes are SID (but iplehouse says that EID, SID & nYID are all the same size) One pair of the shoes I got from Kim are for the heeled feet.
I find most Iplehouse SID clothes fit her: (Usually the heads on the Ausley bodies are IH or DS Bernard.)




The one below is the Ausley body in Honey Peach with IH head and hands in peach gold. (before IH made their peach more pink)

Finally my Amanda head is back home and on her Ausley body. I purchased the red gown from Iplehouse and it works well although a tight squeeze at the top. Good that it stretches a bit.

 

I've managed to find a few shoes that fit her flat feet - they are a tight fit but I'll do my best to post photos when I can (And I'll look up where I got them!) - I had an EID before and a lot of the clothing fits, the bras are VERY tight but I have my Amanda with that HUGE bust so... ya know. Heh.
As for pants, and 'bottoms' It seems like EID clothing is going to work just fine - again tight fit but it can be done.

EID Shoes, I would NOT bet on them working, I don't really have any that fit her - and if they do it's terribly stretched and looks awful (I tried really hard to make them work... ha).

I plan on finding stuff for Amanda so I'll updated when I can Good luck everyone!

sdrcow, the white shoes that she has on with the Soul doll outfits are IH sid shoes. If the fronts of the shoes are adjustable as these are they will fit her nicely. Kim will make you shoes - just costly shipping to Canada now. She has the Dollshe feet. You might check her Flickr page:

Hello. I was wondering if anyone did receive an Erica Snow so far ? I find the sculpt fascinating but I long to see what she looks like with eyes and faceup before I decide wether she will be my next girl or not...

 

Mascara Sick, I have her on order but do not expect to receive her until June or after as Dollshe seems so very far behind. I was late in ordering so perhaps someone will get her by Feb. or March.

She's...different. And I'm wondering if a lot of my ambiguity towards her is due to the hobby burnout I've been feeling. I'm reserving final judgment until I paint her. I ordered her in Oriental Skin because that matches Iple's Normal skin and I figured since I was taking a chance on Erica based on Dollshe's no eyes grey primer pictures, that I could use the body with my extra Oriental Ausley head, or my Normal Skin Doria head. Figured that was the safe bet.

 

Her face is very long and her eyes are set a little high. That and her narrow chin give her a very exotic look. She's prettier in person, I'll give her that, and benefits from a wig with fringe (bangs) IMO. Still deciding how I want to paint her. These are 12mm (I think) glass eyes. The 12mm S.I. Dollbakery eyes I used first did not sit in her eye wells properly.

Although now I wish even more I could swap the skin tone of my Erica and Amanda :/ curse you, dollshe. If you had posted close up shots of her face, I would have known! :P

 

Thanks for sharing that. I was vaguely interested when I saw it on the Dollshe site but until I see one painted I can't tell what's going on. I'll be looking forward to seeing her after you finish her. My painted Ausley is amazing but Amanda wasn't convincing for me....

 

Gave her a quickie faceup... I will likely end up redoing it at some point as I see things I would like to change, but for now it'll do. I definitely like her better painted and am slowly warming up to her. I like her uniqueness...like Ausley. She was another that it took me time to like and now...LOVE HER. (I have 3).

@lyn_r, just WOW!! I had never seen a sculpt like this before. It's very very curious when you see a sculpt and you know exactly what character would be perfect for its face, and it's even more interesting when another person does exactly the opposite as you were thinking, that has amazed me an awful lot! In this case, I saw the photos and I immediately thought that I would build a native american woman, with dark eyes and straight black hair. And then I saw your face-up and thought WOW! Stunning! Awesome work and character!

 

Awesome faceup work, lyn_r ! Naisha- I do agree she'd also look beautiful in a brown tone.

 

lyn r, That is the first Ausly face-up I have liked. I have two Ausley's and I am not fond of either face-up. The eyes are spectacular. The wig adds to the drama too...she is lovely.

 

Alright lady, I'm kinda mad at you, but kinda not, because I had no intention of ever getting a Dollshe and I fell in love with Erica and now I have the fashion size on layaway; damn it woman! It's your fault because your girl is gorgeous! I hope the fashion size translates well!! ^_^ I'm so excited though, so I guess I also have to thank you!

 

Hello Dollshe owners! I've got a quick question for y'all!

So, as shown on the Dollshe website, there is supposed to be this rounded piece on the top of the torso that the bust plates sit on, the thing with the two slits for the elastic... I was wondering if anyone actually has that? Mine does not, just the normal hollow torso.

Nope. Neither of mine have it either. I think those pics must be from Amanda's pre-order, and then he re-worked the body IIRC before casting and fulfilling the pre-orders. Must have decided to forgo that piece for production.

Ahh!!! She is so gorgeous, I love her eyebrows and her teeth! So sexy! I hope my little Amanda comes with teeth too!!! I saw a picture of the fashion size next to the regular 1/3 girls and they both had teeth... I love dolls with teefs! ^^

@lyn_r, your Carly (Copper Oriental Amanda) is unusual and bright girl. Do your have all Dollshe girls in your collection? It wiil be nice to see them all together

 

Could someone take a photo of Amanda or Erica next to another SD sized girl, like soom SG or iplehouse etc? It would help me a great deal!

 

I really love the Erica you painted lyn_r, she is stunning and I see what you mean about her face, but it suits her well. Amanda in that color is lovely too, she seems like a different face mold with the makeup you gave her.

 

My Erica showed up this week. Very exciting! Does anyone know what the heck shoes will fit her? They're too big for Iplehouse and that was my best guess...


@Illves I can take a photo for you. I don't have a Soom or an Iplehouse girl but I could do a comparison with a Twigling, Impl Star girl, or a Granado Nuevo girl, if you want. I also have a Supia girl on their newer body, if that's helpful?

 

I haven't found any shoes that fit either. The high heel feet have a very high arch.

 

Ah, darn. Good thing she has a floor length dress then! I wonder if Souldoll shoes would fit. Those Zenith girls have giant feet...
