Unlurking myself here... I recently purchased Dollshe Diana from the recent sale period. I can't let that GOOD DEAL pass again. However, I have concerns like @candy kitten, the waiting time (because Dollshe is notorious with that) and what's in the box.

After reading around here in the forums, I sent an email last week to Dollshe to ask them directly. Their responses to me are:

I asked about my order waiting time they said:

"Estimated delivery time is about 6 months. When the doll is completed, we will change the order status."

Then I asked about what the Special Package included. If it really does contain what's listed on the page (OE head + EN head + SA head + Pose body + 2 different types of breasts + Gesture hand type 1 + Gesture hand type 2 + High-heeled feet + Ballet feet + Clothing exchange hand parts) They replied:

"Yes ~~ Are all included in the configuration."

I was like WHOA Dollshe, are you for real!

Therefore, I must say that was really a good deal for that price. I just hope that Dollshe ship the dolls on time because 6 months is bearable but not 1 year.

Now, what do I do with 2 spare heads???

So far it's been kind of depending on what dolls they're casting at any given time, and what resin colours. I haven't gotten anything from any of my orders yet the oldest being from April. I wasn't expecting anything sooner than ten months with the fashion ones though.. the classics seem to ship out faster lately, but again, it depends on a lot of factors. So, I'd say hope for 6 months, prepare for a year?

As for the extra heads, I'm super glad to be getting them because that way I can do different makeup looks or just different expressions in photos. Especially happy about the SA ones cause it makes it easier to photograph convincing kisses.

Does anyone know of some jointed hands which will fit Diana? Also for that matter any that look good on the 26f ladies too. . .

 

Try Doll Family-H, they have a variety of jointed hands for male and female of all sizes, and they resin-match too!

 

I'm finally getting started with my Diana. All the other things in my life have been eating up my time since she got here last year, but now I have had some time to work on her backstory and clothing style. She seems to like black a lot, and she wants a lot of harnesses and statement necklaces. I just ordered her some vlack jeans and fishnets, but she is still going with bare feet. I have two pairs of sartoriaj shoes, but the problem is all the shoes they sell are very elegant and smart casual in a way, and I want my girl to have some attitude. I haven't yet managed to find any black rock-spirited boots to fit the Dollshe ladies' feet, so if you know of any, please give me a hint! I have tried looking at sd boys' small sizes too, as flat soles are fine too, maybe even better if she can stand in them. I know that rRabit boots fit in the smaller SD boys' size, so did their boys' heels, but they are not correct style either.

Yes. it's the classic 61 size in pale tan.

 

Coming out of lurking to wish you all good luck in your wait times with Diana. I am still waiting for my fashion Saint after around 2 years. Dollshe seems to be quicker with newer sculpts now.

I so miss my dollshe dolls - I quite purchasing from them but miss the new wonderful designed bodies. Have not been on DOA for awhile either. So crazy - stuck at home and getting less done than if I had more freedom.

I just orded my Diana 16f 61cm in copper oriental. I'm so excited. I can't wait to get her. Waiting forever is gonna kill me. I'm having a hard time understanding what clothing size is she? Everyone really doesn't have a exact answer can someone tell me what clothing size I should be ordering for her. I really appreciate all the info on this thread. It's so helpful. I've never owned a Dollshe before, I've always wanted one but I could never see myself spending 1000+ on a doll but when I saw she was on sale I about had a heartattack! I am so happy!!!!. I hope everyone gets their dolls in record speed!

Question! What size eyes work best in Classic Maxi Diana? Not that I particularly expect mine soon, but I'd like to know what size eye I ought to be ordering so I can start thinking about that one . .

I used 14mm small iris eyes in mine. I use the partially closed eyed head. I've been really happy with that fit, but not sure if it's different for the fully opened eyed head.

 

Another eye question! I've got an Ausley Classic Maxi coming to me from the second hand market, and I need to figure out eyes for her so she doesn't just stare with gaping blank caverns of darkness. . . What size eyes does everyone like in their Ausleys, bonus points for photos cause I'd love some Ausley Spam!

Thank you!! According to the Dollines Etsy site, they are porcelain, but I am not sure how they give such translucency to the sclera. The Etsy site describes "copyright technology"! Definitely the source for the most beautiful eyes I've seen so far.

Do you have the link to their shop? I'm having trouble with finding things right now lol. Also, what size wig does she take really? I'll likely need to give her a temporary wig while I wait for my mohair order to get here from Poland.

I'm gonna try some old Eyeco 13mm eyes in her when she gets here, but if I don't like those, I'll probably get some Dollines ones cause they're QUITE nice looking. What Iris size did you get?

 

7-8 might work! The Dollines eyes have an amazing range of subtle color choices. Highly recommend! These are with the default 6 mm iris, but the will do custom iris sizes.

 

I am SO excited to get this girl. She's still gotta get here, so another couple weeks probably, but then I'll have my first 1/3 size doll in years. . and I'll be able to paint on something bigger than a monster high doll head!

I saw some of you were questioning what wig size for Ausley.............I use Monique 7/8's on mine, and 7/8 for the Leekeworld wigs too. My Amanda is wearing a size 7/8 Leeke wig here.

yesterday I ordered Amanda for myself (maybe she will be my birthday present ). I have a big question about the body... I found what shoes fit to the flat feet, but i didn't see information of the high heeled feet. EID or SD16 or else? May the Dollmore Model shoes fit?

BTW for the high heeled Dollshe feet i have found some perfect pieces on SartoriaJ Etsy shop!

 

BTW, I believe other people (possibly even in this thread) have had problems with shoes from that shop not fitting, with the shoes being a touch too small/tight, but perhaps it varies by style or the patterns have since been redrafted

 

I have some SartoriaJ heels and they are a perfect fit on Dollshe feet but I bought them before they brought out their own body and I am sure they have changed the sizing.

 

WhisperingGrassBJD (on Etsy) will do commissions for Dollshe ladies' flat feet. Her brocade slippers are to die for!

I have an Amanda coming on the shorter Dollshe Diana body and I am EXCITED. She'll be honey cocoa tan and I have no idea what character she'll have yet, but I'm really looking forward to unboxing her. I was nervous about getting the super large 65cm body since my tallest doll is a Dollstown Mui boy on the old 16-years-old body, and he's only about 63cm. I don't want anyone bigger than that!

Apparently I'll have forgotten all about her and probably won't even live in the same country anymore by the time she arrives, so thank you all for sharing pictures of your beautiful dollies!

 

Does anyone have Diana on the 26F body? I love Diana so much but am not a fan of the 16F body. I was wondering if she works on the larger.

 

I tried to order just that combo (through BJDivas) and DollShe refused to sell her on that body. (I worked around it by ordering Erica Snow, and an extra Diana head, but super annoyed that I had to). Her head size is the same as the heads that are offered on the 26f body, so it should work just fine, and vise-versa
