this is such an informative post! And very helpful for a young collector like me who's still in college and doesn't have a steady job, or even for someone who just doesn't have the budget for more expensive dolls due to normal life expenses

I know this post is a little older now, but if you're still interested, 2D Doll has some anime style MSDs around the $350 mark, so smaller dolls might be a little cheaper, and maybe you could hybrid for even better prices? It looks like they also do events, so right now MSDs are exactly $306 on Alice's Collections!

I have bought a ALM (Angel's Little Monster) doll. Their line has many inexpensive dolls that would fit on to your list. They are available on Alice's Collections.

That's true. I just bought a head of that brand, very cheap to transform it (so charming) because I'm in love with Pandora from Dollzone and since I can't have her I want to make a hybrid that resembles.

I tried to help by commenting on the google doc with broken links and whatnot, but I still think it's valuable to know the name and type of doll that fits in this category. I just googled the names of the ones that had broken links and added doa to get the links to the original company's website.

The prizes are for the dolls themselves, usually basic and blank (so prize don't include face up, full set clothes or other extras). Additional fees (shipping, vat, customs etc.) differ depending on where you are in the world and on where the doll is shipped from.

 

I'd like to contribute Dollsn (Dollfie & BJD Online Total Shop).

I just bought their Hani Fullset (MSD doll) for $350. Heads are $90, just the doll with faceup is $220. If you buy from Etsy, the prices are a bit higher but the shipping is free! They also have YoSDs and anime style mature 1/6 dolls (all BJD) that are under $200.

The downside is that they only offer white resin, and the body sculpt is very bare-bones but posability is good. The face sculpts are absolutely beautiful, clothing is very well made and wigs are excellent. I have been buying their wigs and accessories for several years.

 

Dream Valley's new Cedar and Fawna are under $300 if you order from Alice's Collections! Also, Imomodoll has some very, very affordable dolls, usually under the $100 mark!

 

ALM and Doll Leaves are having a heavy sale and there are many 1/4 and 1/3 dolls under $300 including a faceup.
