I do like Mai a lot, though my loves are the boys, and I highly doubt we'll ever get the mythical male DD, so no Iori or K' for me, hehe. Maybe someday they'll release a trap doll and that will be the closest we get.

Unless he gets ridiculously ugly between now and the official pictures Minoru is on my list. I missed out on Ryoya on his initial release (one day I'll get one!) and this guy looks so similar! I love his outfit too.

And SD16 Kira! WOW. She looks so much like Kira but still looks so mature. I'm really impressed.

Do you guys think that SD16 Kira is an indication that SD16s will become standard?

I mean, she IS one of the four sisters... I don't see why they couldn't come out with standards, now that they have a mold. I would be thrilled!

 

Everything is really pretty! This is the first time I've really wanted an SD-16 though! Some of the others have been pretty, don't get me wrong, but I haven't wanted to invest in a whole 'nother size yet. This is tempting though!

 

KoF stand for King of Fighters, an extremely awesome series of Japanese fighting games, of which Mai is the headlining female character.

As for Mito Mashiro, she's a character from the hentai game/anime Tayutama: Kiss on My Deity.

 

Omgosh SD16 is so beautiful!! I her so much! I cannot wait to see more pictures of her....and the SwD 4 sisters...a white skinned girl be so wonderful

I would love an SD16 standard, but I do not know if it will happen. They released the 4 sister yo's a while ago and have yet to make them into standards...or SwD sisters for that matter. I think we will see them as FCS before standards...but you never know! ^_^

Minoru is absolutely wonderfully gorgeously good. A perfect, fair-looking and pretty, yet still boyish and mature Japanese young man. Instant add to my wishlist.
Mai Shiranui excites me greatly, I've always been an SNK fan and seeing her as a DD is so awesome~!!!

I'm so happy I don't want any dolls from this Dolpa. SD16 Kira is lovely but not for me.

 

Looking at that Yo boy, I'm thinking my wallet is going to be crying and begging for mercy in a little while. If clearer pictures make me like him as much as these blurry ones are, I think I'm doomed.

 

I'm not so sure about this, since Volks doesn't sell Kira as a standard SD model anymore... But SD16 standard girls would be really nice!
I'm completely smitten with the new, mature Kira myself. Wow - she is SO beautiful!
... I'm also glad to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks that Minoru looks like the love child of Eden and Ryoya. His outfit does rock though.

When I saw the SDGr SD13 boy I though "A Ryoya re-release already?" He doesn't look different enough from Ryoya to perk my interest. So far I'm safe! Yay!!!

The SD16 Kira looks like Pearl! Sorta! I mean not totally, but I'm so perfectly satisfied with my Pearl that she doesn't tempt me either!

But hooray for not wanting anything! I'm so releived! Now to go buy Soom baby birdies!

HERE YOU GO KIRA she is very beautiful face wise much younger than you would expect to see for a SD16 I think.
Question: do the SD16 girl heads go on SD13 or SD10 bodies fine? are they smaller or larger? and the neck hole?

Because they are more mature head moulds SD16 girl heads tend to be some what smaller in comparision to SD13/SD heads. That being said I have seen many a SD16 girl heads on SD13/SD bodies both male and female, so it can most definitely be done

He does resemble Ryoya, but I kind of like this new boy's sweet face, wheras I didn't care much for Ryoya. I would need to see more pics, though, to decide if I'm interested or not! The other dolls are pretty, especially the SD16 girl, but I'm pretty much safe here, too.

Wow, SD16 Kira is simply so elegant and graceful. But after getting two dolls this year, I dunno if I can afford to get her. If I cna't get her, I would at least want to get her outfit and wig. Ciera (my SD16 Garnet) would totally love it to bits!

 

Wow, what an impressive lineup! The Yo's are really sweet and cute, and Minoru looks very handsome so far. But I think I'm safe from them as I seem to have gotten hooked on Soom tinies and SDGr are too expensive for me. ^^;

SD16 Kira though . . . ohboy. I've never particularly wanted to own an SD16 girl but I have a huge soft spot for the four sisters and she just looks so beautiful and graceful! I can't be sure til we have better pics, but I may have to try for her.

For me I am having a hard time deciding on wether I need to get Swd Nana or SD16 Kira. Both are dolls that I love, but I just have to see better photos of Kira before I make a final decision. The guidebooks ship today, so I hope to see some scans soon.

Woooow I haven't wanted a doll this much since Kurumi was released for the first time. It's perfect too. I told myself no more SD girls unless it was an SD16 girl ... it's so awesome they're rereleasing SwD Nana too! She's one of my favorites but so expensive don't see her around often! I hope the SwD Nana population in the gallery will rise after this release!

The uniform sure looks tasty enough in these blurry scan-pictures... and the jury's still out on whether it'll be Graffiti-skinny-ass-sized or SD13-giant-ass-sized. I cannot wait to witness the official pix, when they come out. He is so very, very dashing! Am relieved that I don't really need him, though; he's so similar to Ryoya, & right now I like Ryoya better.

So is he Tae's handsome young lover, or is she still waiting on that "brown-skinned" mystery man? Ebony/Sunlight SD16 or 17 sure would not go amiss. More bronze musclemen!

*titter* Oh yeah, I just visited that store recently for the first time! Those two guys are everywhere. I was especially charmed by the Tony with the big Volks shopping-bag & autographed picture of Mr Shigeta, they keep him near the cash register. ^^ He's certainly gotta ditch that little brother & work out his shopping addiction disorder, before he can bother getting anywhere with the fashion-victim girls.

Eheheh I don't think Tony has any interest in ditching his little brother because he is sporting a huge brother complex lol The comics do nothing but confirm it in my mind lol Though I think hands down my favorite was the Black Cat Lucas and White Cat Chris going to order their FCS child together. It is just so incredibly slashy and reconfirms what I've known for a while, Volks is full of fanboys and fangirls. lol

Going back to topic, I totally agree with the people who think Ryoya and Minoru look incredibly alike. I admit from the preview pictures I am not sure I would be able to tell them apart but maybe once we get the larger pictures it will help.

I'd love to see more pictures of that boy Yo outfit, I think my little might need it Schneizel.

I'd really, really like some clothes made specifically for SDGr. Some of the darned SD13 ones are so freakin' huge on him. Sheesh.
