My pipe dream = sunlight-skin Yos. I don't really want any more dolls, but I would make an exception for those

I am so excited for Dopla 22! There haven't been any recent releases I'm really interested in yet (clothes or dolls, shockingly ), so I get a feeling there will be a few things released this Dolpa I'll love~

 

I'm thinking we are going to see a Maiden's Promise release. Last year Volks had a design contest for 3 of their story lines and have announced the winners for two of them (Tokyo Boys and Oath of the Silver Coin)-the only one left is the Maiden's Promise.

 

I am hoping for new awesome wigs myself! I wigs ^_^

 

New awesome outfits maybe but Id need more money first XD. The only way id be getting one of the new limiteds is if its a girl or so amazing I cant do without it and can take place of another character on my list XD but def outfits.

 

I probably won't buy any, but it'd be nice to get another SD16 girl so the body cost on the second hand market can go down

 

If only Soom would stop making dolls I have to own I might have some money for this! Arg!

Everything that I've REALLY wanted from Volks lately has all been dolls from Japan only member appreciation events. All of which have been rediculously unobtainable so I'm rather miffed at them.

I'm really hoping I DON"T want anything from Dolpa 22 but it will be interesting to see what they come out with.

 

I'm excited to see what will be released! When can we expect to get some more detailed info?

 

Seeing the design for the "Dolls Party 22" sign, I think you're right about this being an addition to Maiden's Promise. I wonder who else is left in the storyline? Also, I'm looking forward to an amazing release for this dolpa! Hopefully, this new Maiden's Promise doll will be more successful than the previous Eden who is still for sale.

 

My thoughts exactly!! December is a bad month for extra money to begin with and I've fallen for a few of Volks' more recent releases, but alas, no funds.

However....if they release a new Rozen Maiden or Harajuku girl (or a renee rerelease...ha!) I might have to start selling organs.

 

Does anyone know the exact date of the release yet?

 

Oh yes I definitely think this too! The lamppost on the icon made me think of 1800s immediately for some reason (like A Christmas Carol type theme or something for winter was my first thought).
Doesn't Maidens Promise take place in 1800s England?
It does seem to make sense for them to finish up the design contest outfits before the end of the year too.
I wonder if there will be a cute new girl (as always I wish for a Shinku re-release) but it will be exciting to see what they come up with.
Volks events are always suspenseful.

I'd love to see another Maiden's Promise doll because I've really liked all of them. But I'm half afraid to see a new one because I bet I'll want him or her ;_;.

It would be fun to see another Naval Academy doll too! I'd like to know about the guy Tae is in love with XD.

I'm still holding out hope that they'll release more "basic" versions of the Appreciation Fair Yos. I really want a Yo Syo and I don't want to pay secondhand market prices for him :/.

 

Yeah a Renee rerelease would just be awesome. She is so dang hard to get!! I'd be totally screwed though if she was rereleased.

As I posted elsewhere, Dolpa 22 will be 12/6/09

The easiest way to find out when a Dolpa will be is about 5 months before you think it is going to happen look at Tokyo Big Sight's website. They list all upcoming events.

Actually, I think Volks has been just wonderful to finally allow US members to apply to attend Japanese events, as they have for the last 2 and will hopefully allow for the Prince one if any one in the US wants to apply. Yes, you have to actually go to Japan, but obtaining these items becomes something one can actually do. And just so you know depending on where you live in Japan airfares/train fares can be extremely high as well.

 

Please do another SD13 girl. It's been too long!

 

I hear you there! I'm really hoping for a new Yo or a re-release of an older Yo, which probably isn't too likely since Suzuna and Rengemaru were re-released recently. But gosh, it would be great to get an Anne & Piccolo re-release before Christmas!

 

I would also really like to see something from the Maiden's Promise storyline~ I find that "series" really interesting~ I wonder if they would introduce a new character or reissue a new version of one of the others.

We need more Yo releases period.

I haven't heard any word on that in some time, actually. Boy, would I like to. I wonder if they're maybe needing more time to make the models and release them or if it's something else?

 

More Maiden's Promise dolls would be fantastic! I've also wanted an SWD Liz for a while now and I'm still crossing my fingers that Volks releases one someday.

 

That would be AMAZING ... My Liz having a sleepy head... all the possibilities!!!

I actually want another doll from the "Echoes of a Beautiful Banquet" series. I LOVE my Amakusa and am still kicking myself for missing Souji and Genji!

Otherwise I am ALWAYS up for another BTSSBxVolks girl.

I know, I know, I know I'm spamming with adding to the list of "I hope they release..." (but its all a part of the excitement of the dolpa!) but I still REALLY wish for Volks to release another Luna or create another story arc of characters and/or add to the harajuku memories~

I wonder if the Dolpa will have any sort of holiday theme to it do to its date~

Ahaha, totally agreed. BTSSB and Yo-SDs are the two 'OMGWANT's on my list. Wishlist Yos currently?: 4 and growing. I probably shouldn't hope they release more Yos rofl!

 

We will have to wait to see what dolls will be available and which ones available to the US store...not all dolls are always released at the US store, but quite a few are ^_^ I am hoping for Rozen Maiden girls myself!! The US dealers and VolksUSA will let us know on their websites (and by email and posting here for the dealers)when they know. We usually find out the models on the international/Japanese site first before the US stores know what they are getting.

When VolksUSA gets limited dolls it's by lottery. Although we don't even know if the dolls will be available at VolksUSA at this point, no word on even what the dolls are yet.

 

As usual... I am hoping for a Barasuishou Rozen. She made such a short appearance in the show... but I can't wait to see her in doll form.

 

It has been so many re-release lately. So I am hoping for new SD13 girl!! It has been a while.

 

Barasuishou would be pretty nice (I hope she gets a crystal sword).

Kirakishou would be my killer though.

I have wired feeling... I want to see some dolls I love, but I also do not want to see the doll I love! (espically I just bought another boy). Well, let's see if there is any thing that suprised me!

 

I would love an SD16 pirate girl, a BTSSB collab, or another Rosen Maiden girl!!!! And sunlight skin where ever possible!!!!!!!

Personally, I'm hoping for something NEW! XD There have been so many re-releases of late; I'm ready to see brand spanking new stuff from Volks. Maybe even a new storyline.

 

I wouldn't be surprised. And that would suck because I would love a Tsukasa rerelease, but have absolutely no desire to have an SD17 boy. And then the fact that SD17s averaged $1400 before the dollar went down the drain versus the yen makes splits really cost prohibitive when you think about how much one would cost now.

 

If they do an SD17 Tsukasa, I think he'll be a different headmold like the SD17 Williams was. They have had that SD17 Tsukasa on a couple of things, now... On the SD17 Edgy Tokyo clothing set, there is a clear picture of his face and he looks different, a bit more like Ryoya. It could be the faceup, but it could also be a modification? I dunno.

(I finally got original Tsukasa, so a re-release does nothing for me... especially if he looks like the one on the Edgy Tokyo set.)

I am hoping for some SD17 boy pirate clothes. I'd love to see some new sculpts, like a new SD13 boy. I am wondering if there will be more SDGr boys soon... or a female counterpart. I kinda hope not... there's no way I can afford any SDGr release because they're several hundred dollars more than SD13.
