Just got a shipping notice for my Kira~ 8)

 

I just got my shipping notice for my Mai 3 minutes ago! :-D She could possibly be here Friday!

 

Shipping notice for Minoru! (I, er, only ordered him last night. *flails*) This is my first Volks!

 

and............ my second shipping notice for Mai....... YAY

 

I just got my "shipping" notice! I'll be heading to the Volks store to pick her up this weekend. Anyone else going in person?

 

I just got my shipping notice for Kira! Exactly 3 months to the day that I ordered her.

 

Wow Nabee! Has it really been 4 months? I put in with the original lottery....has it really been that long?! o_O Well, that's my new 'waiting record'. The previous was a little over 3 months with Mythdoll.

 

Yep, 3months exactly! I put in for her on December 8th (that is the date on my email from Volks when I entered for her). I think my previous longest was 3 months as well, so this might be a new record for me too!

Excuse me, I mean 3 months, sorry about that!

 

And I've got my shipping notice for Lillie! She'll be here by Thursday~ *dances*

 

December to March is 3 months, no?

I hope they get move on. I hate this waiting.

 

Hehee... it's a little over 3 months. ^__^ All of Dec, All of Jan, All of Feb, and a little of March. ^_____^


I just found out KerbeyLane gets them after VolksUSA so I've got another week probably before my shipping confirmation. -sigh-

 

It's ok, I fail at math...all the time! If I cared about all the times I calculated things incorrectly, I never sleep at night lol. =P

I really do hope our dolls arrive quickly though! It has been a long wait already

 

I'm with you Aeryn, waiting for Kerbey Lane! I'm looking forward to getting him though. :]

 

ffff still waiting for that shipping notice! But hopefully this means my Nana will be here in time for my birthday on the 17th

 

Well, actually it should take only a couple days to get to Kerbey and then a couple more days to us so we should get them at about the same time as ordering straight from Volks USA! \(^_^)/ Hurray!!

Congrats to all the shipping notices! I have been stalking the galleries and marketplace, I can't wait to see more pics of everyone's DP22 lovelies. You guys sure had a long wait this time, for Volks anyway . . . it looks like the dolls will start making it home right around the day of the next Dolpa! xD

Has anyone heard of any of the shipments coming out of We Love Dolls or Kerby Lane?

 

@saranilla : Volks sends them to both KerbyLane and WeLoveDolls at the same time as they send them to direct buyers. So we will get our shipping notices after they receive them (in a couple of days) ^__^

 

I just got a notice from Kerbey Lane that the dolls have been shipped to them, I was told they will receive our dolls early next week! How exciting!!

Wow! Kira arrived to me tonight I am super excited! she looks great on the SD13 body too, I only have cell phone pics that are horrible quality, but I am too excited not to share

last Sunday i was at Sumika in Los Angeles and the staff was busy packing up the Dolpa 22 dolls for shipping.

OAO Does anyone know if SD16 girls come with their seems sanded automatically...? My Kira has been sanded...

 

They are not sanded automatically. The molds for the SD16 girls and SD17 boys are so well made that the dolls barely have any seamlines.

 

Oh that's awesome !!! Yay Volks!! There is still visible sanding on her shoulder area though. Or maybe it's discoloration, but it feels a bit rougher like sanding...

Bah, I just checked my tracking and UPS "rescheduled" the delivery of my Mai to next week. I'm so disappointed. There doesn't seem to be any reason for it, I even got a robo call yesterday saying she was coming today.

 

That's no good riversoblood! I have had that happen before and it is frustrating. I was afraid mine might be delayed this time due to storms and tornadoes in the western part of the state, but it looks like she pulled through and is out for delivery today (she didn't even arrive at the local depot until this morning so they were cutting it close). I wonder if you have the same semi as me. My packages typically arrive in Missouri the day before they are ready to be delivered, not the morning of (and she just hit the Kansas depot last night).
I hope you do not have anymore delays!

 

Was this an individual email? I had a preorder with Kerbey Lane as well, and I haven't heard a word about anything shipping since I sent them my deposit. Thanks!

 

I received Kira in the mail today. She has been sitting under my desk at work all day!!!

Oh! This is so weird! The UPS guy came just now with Mai anyway. I don't get why the tracking says she was rescheduled until Monday. UPS is so confusing! I hope you got your doll too! :-D

 

Our DP22 dolls are arriving at the shop Monday. There are 6 boxes and I am one person so it will take me a bit to sort them out with everyone's name on it. I have someone helping me pack them this time so all dolls should be in the mail by the end of next week.

I am glad everything worked out with your doll, UPS can be VERY confusing sometimes As long as it is safe and sound, that is what counts

My Lillie arrived last night!! She is so pretty! Her sculpt seems more detailed and mature than most of the Yo-SDs. Very nice. Not liking the black eyeliner though - Do you think it is possible to just remove the eyeliner withought removing the whole faceup??
It was a long wait for UPS - they came at about 7:30 PM. We kept trying to track online, but the UPS site was not working. Wonder if that is why Lillie came so late?

 

Oh my gosh I know this is absolutely the worst picture in the world (phone pic, at night in a barely-lit room... horrible idea, I know!) but I'm just too smitten to resist. My wonderful mom who signed for her while I was at work was even laughing at my giddyness. I can totally understand now why people love SD16 girls... holy cow the elbows were quite a surprise! Lovely!!

BTW - Does anyone know about the plastics on her "bra"? Are they supposed to stay there or be removed? Because the one on her right side is broken and the one on the left has a small flaw =/...

 

I'm getting so excited reading about everyone's arrivals! My Kira's coming home on Monday and I'll be stalking the UPS man all day!

Congrats, everyone!! I love seeing everyone's dolls coming in, and I can't wait to see what you do with them! I'd been planning and planning to have Valetta (SwD Nana) be a shy mori girl, but after a recent dropsnap addiction, I'm tempted to make her a bit edgier and Grimoire-style. Gah, can't decide! Any one else have exciting plans?

Man, I have to admit that, though next week is my (20th T___T) birthday, my one-year anniversary with my boyfriend, and my first time participating in a livestock show, I think I'm most excited for Valetta to come! *geek geek geek* I'm all grabby hands after seeing everyone else's, haha.

There are a lot of cute outfits, but not really much my boys would wear. Maybe the ribbon print shirt & hoodie set for my Michele, Arch. I do kinda want that chair, too! I'm afraid it's a little too froo-froo for my dollie family of 20 boys though, and it is rather pricey as well. ^^; I guess it depends on if I get a Hijikata from the current dolpa or not. :B

 

grrr...I see an outfit and a pair of boots I want! OMG!! WHY WHY WHY must the SD16/17 boys have the most awesome coats ever?! I so want that jacket. I wonder if slightly baggy would be okay it it's just a jacket.....?

Dollfie Dreams get the cutest clothes ever! I want those for my girl! I bet they wouldn't fit though

 

Gah, so nice! There is a gorgeous velvet MSD dress that I love. Does anyone know if DD shoes fit any size doll? Besides DD of course.

 

Why did you have to show me that outfit AerynAerie? I missed that one. And it's adorable.

 

I love the fashions they've been releasing for the girls lately. There's just not enough modern style outfits!
