I hope so, i wanted a few of them but was busy when they went up for sale ...

 

I keep obsessively checking to see if they put any more White Leather Bunny sets up for sale but I am having no luck!

I keep day dreaming of Kira and what I shall dress her in.

 

The outfit I ordered at the after-event shipped!!!

 

On the first day of the after sale (Dec 26 Japan time) I ordered the 2 swords and some glass eyes. Then 3 days later when some of the outfits became available again I ordered one of the Maidens' Promises outfits.... I also asked if they could combine my 2 orders for shipping purposes.

I have just received confirmation that my first (Dec 26) order has been shipped so I quess the 2 orders will ship seperately. Oh well..... who knew .... I may even end up with a 3rd order is any of the other outfits I'm interested in become available.

My order was sent EMS yesterday so I'm expecting I will get it next Monday or Tuesday. That type of shipping is expensive but oh so quick....

 

I keep searching clothes for Kira. SD16 girls outfits are hard to find...

 

I agree. Clothes are hard to find. I keep being tempted by the Soom MD girl clothes as I am pretty sure they fit, I just do not how well they will fit. I love the idea of a fantasy look for my Kira, it is jsut what I hae in mind for her character.

 

If you get creative, you can get a lot of SD13 boy clothes to fit SD16 girls. It helps when you are despairing over jeans and suit jackets.

 

It looks like all the limited dolls are available for pre-order on the international website, but most of the outfits are gone.

Wish I knew! I keep checking my order status but there's still nothing under "tracking."

 

If you got your doll in the lotteries, I think we've still got at least a month to go. My email from Volks says late Feb or early March. Once the Volks store gets the dolls, I know they ship quickly, but getting to the US and through customs can take a while.

All of my Volks dolls have been second hand, so it was always the waiting to find, waiting to build the money, and then waiting to ship. I thought getting my Miruku was complicated because I got her from y!j. Then I got my Kaelin direct from Volks and he shipped in a matter of just a couple of days. Now this wait...

... I finally feel like I've truly been inducted into the Volks cult. jk.

 

So... I suppose I should be asking this to Volks directly (and I plan to) but in case anyone here has dealt with this before... my sis won her first doll from this lottery but had it shipped to her boyfriend's house since she's studying abroad until May. But he's moving across the country in the second week of February... I doubt her doll (SwD Nana I think) will be there before then, but Volks says they will absolutely not change shipping address on the lottery entry. If UPS comes and leaves a sticky on his door, will the new house owners be able to take it and pick up her doll?! (Hopefully they wouldn't be bad people like that...)

 

Just send an email to Volks saying that the address has changed and the original one will no longer be valid. I'm pretty sure they will update the address accordingly.

Late Feb/early March, Volks says. I need to finish up my Unoa Chibi kits and get my other dolls in order soon~ The plan is to have everything done when Minoru comes.

 

I ordered a new wig for Kira. And after this weekend my husband says I can order that dress we want for her. I am so excited.

The extra stock is very tempting. I really like to pay and get the doll without waiting for a long time. But I have to wait to see what Kyoto7 offers...

 

They only ship in USA, to Canada and Mexico. So you may ask a friend to buy for you.

 

Hrm, SwD Nana and SD16Kira are tempting, but I'll have to pass... I'm not in love with them enough to take one when someone else may want one much more!

 

Do you think these dolls are already in stock and ready to be shipped out? Or do you think they are like the pre-order and will ship out in March?

 

essiekl- It's a pre-order. The info pages say they'll ship around the middle of March.

 

The Yo-SDs are really tempting . . . they're so adorable, and I love their outfits.

 

Kaighn- thank you. I really wanted Kira but couldn't get enough funds by the after party and original lottery but Volks happening to get extra stock feels like I'm meant to have her!

 

I'm a bit surprised that there's still LEs left over. Is this normal for Volks Dolpas? I'm glad that we all have another chance at them, but I can't believe that I have to face this choice all over again! Kira's really gorgeous and the Eddie's so cute... Ohh, what to doo...

Eri Rhode, I totally agree -- the yo-sds are absolutely adorable! Just a note but they don't come with their outfits. I think you'd have to buy them separately when Volks releases them.

 

I'm a bit surprised too about the leftover (did anyone lose the lottery for any of the dolls?)... but my husband finally caved in and got me Kira for a Valentine's Day gift~

 

Due to licensing and its contracts with the credit card companies and UPS VolksUSA is only able to ship within the US, Canada, and Mexico. They are technically a separate company from Volks in Japan.

These dolls were available on the international site for preorder for over a month.

I know what you mean!!! I am in the exactl same position (New House and NYC Dolpa). I would love to order Lillie but I have to keep on repeating to myself (like a mantra): "NYC Dolpa, NYC Dolpa, NYC Dolpa...."

 

Wanted to mention that on the Volks International website they announced they will start shipping the dolls out on February 12th. No update from VolksUSA yet, but guessing they will be shipped around mid-march as the pre-order page states (though I love for it to be sooner) ^^

 

Ughhh I hope it doesn't take it that long somehow for Volksusa. T_T

I do not think so. Having ordered from Volks many times over the past years, some dolpa dolls come in about a month some take a few months. This is not the first time it has taken a few months for me to get a doll. Plus, the dolls are not behind yet, they stated in the pre-order dolls would ship around March.

 

Has anyone got shipping confirmation yet? I have a weird feeling it'll be around the first week of March or so.

 

I haven't gotten mine. It's a bummer because I was crossing my fingers that my Mai might come in time for a doll meet I'm going to in a couple of weeks. >.<

I havent, but when they realeased extra dolls for pre-order, they stated that the dolls would be delivered around mid-March. Since I am pretty sure all the dolls would come in together (those from the lottery and pre-order) I am guessing we should get them around mid-March. However, I am still rooting for early March...or at least shipping in early March and arriving in mid-March

 

awww darn. I still thought they were using the earlier time-line of late Feb/early March..... -sigh- I'll have to go back to ignoring him for now. It's the only way I can wait so long!

 

I really hope they still do the early March time-line myself. I really want my girl! I have been ignoring her, but the closer it gets to her supposed shipping time the harder it is for me to pretend lol

 

It's causing me way more stress than it should to not have Minoru here...

I've decided, based on owner pictures, that he isn't quite what I expected, so I'm trading his head to an IRL doll friend. But I'm definitely keeping his body. And until I get his body it's impossible for me to figure out what I'm doing with a few certain heads and bodies... and it's making me feel like my collection is totally scattered and I'll never have my 60cm boys figured out.

Here's to hoping they ship soon...and that Kerbey Lane sorts them out quickly once they receive them.
