DollPamm!!!- Part 2

@Collie, I'll have to wait and hope for a re-release on her, but I'll enjoy seeing what everyone else does with her!

 

I'm loving the Loli v2 body. Does anyone have any comparisons with these girls and the ~40cm Fairyland dolls, like Minifee, Fairyline, and Chicline? Also, does anyone happen to have the Honey resin, or the Pingki resin, and could show comparisons between it and normal skins from other companies? (I'm especially interested in Fairyland NS compared to Honey and Pingki skins!) I'm thinking about hybrid options.

 

I'm on mobile right now so I can't get to the photos, but I do have pictures of my v1 loli girl with my MNF A-line boy. I also have my M-line girl and F-line out (though I need to get his legs back on) so I could easily take a photo of all three for you when I get home!

 

I have plenty of pics of my Dollpamm and a Minifee girls together. I can upload some.

 

I'd love to see some pics too, thinking of hybriding my Littlefee

 

@Kiyokatari, if you'll excuse me convening a meeting of the Works In Progress club, here's a comparison shot for you. (Done at my workstation because the photo station is taken up by the small portion of my collection I've freed from boxes.)

Going left to right, Ed (red coat) is an A-Line MNF boy, Prae (poor bald girl) is an M-Line MNF girl, Dani is my DollPamm (shorty), and Arioch (fright wig) is my F-Line. Dani's pingki resin, and all three FL dolls are NS (Ed is the older, slightly less pink formula). Dani and Prae are both blushed, Ed and Arioch are not, and I can do direct resin comparisons against either of the boys if you'd like.

Generally, Dani's paired up with Ed, as his "little sister," and I do love her size for that!

 

I am going to order Cucu as soon as I can figure out whether to get honey color or pingki color, I can't seem to decide. Are the colors dark?

 

I've been considering hybriding a Littlefee head on a Dollpamm Loli body. It seems like a good pair from the others I've seen that have done the same. I personally prefer the old body, but it looks like you can't buy the body separate anyway?

 

This is so cute where do you find her clothes that fit?

 

To be honest, @bluestariom, the clothes she's wearing are a legitimate mystery. I think they might be handmade fashion doll sized clothes (ie Barbie); I got them in an in-person trade for a wig, because they fit my bigger girl Razzy. She's wearing something else right now, though, so I tried them on Opiya (Arubi) when she arrived and they were a good fit there, too.

I think I have some vintage Barbie patterns around here, I might have to do some mockups and see how they work for Opiya...

 

Guys, I bought a Shota Edd boy.... secondhand on layaway but still... he fits into yosd tops and stretchy Minifee moe bottoms. I will post him with her sister Nazara and her cousin when I get him home.

 

Does Dollpamm ever re-release basic versions of the Limited Dolls? I came into the hobby a little too late to snag my grail, and need to figure out how high I am gonna need to offer to attempt to find her on the Secondhand market. That said, I might be able to wait if Dollpamm occasionally re-releases every year or ever. :3c

 

They haven't done that yet, LilacsDoe, but then they're a fairly new company. It seems like everything they do is new right now.

i finally put in an order for a red bebe imp roo! i've wanted her for a long time and i'm surprised she's not sold out yet.... has anyone gotten one yet? if you have how do you like them?

i'm poking around looking for eyes and a wig for her now, do you think a monster high wig might fit? or would that be just a little bit too big? the bebe head size is listed as around pukipuki size (~10cm), and the wig i'm looking at is is 12cm... i'm so much more used to playing with MSD or larger dolls, i forgot how stressful the tiny ones can be to style lol!

I’m wanting a Tiny Momo for a dedication character. Her concept is a secret for now but the new resin craving are lit over here. Anyone have a Tiny Momo and can spam her for me? I’m planning to start a layaway in her and other two other dolls next month.

A MH wig could work on the imp actually. MH is around 10cm head circumference I think. I can look into it for you.

I have the Pinkgi resin for my Dollzone/ Dollpamm hybrid girl (the carrottop) and it’s a perfect match. Fairyland NS will also match Pinkgi if not yellowed. Littlefee/Dollpamm hybrids are popular but the head could look a bit bobbleheaded to some. My Dollzone/Dollpamm hybrid is bobble headed for sure but it’s cute. Honey is more of a lowkey yellow tan and might match yellowed Fairyland NS.
As for the size comparison, Minifee actually towers over Dollpamm Loli, it's adorable to me. To me, Loli could make great children, younger siblings or seriously short lover to a Minifee. In my storyline, my hybrids are the children of my Minifee couples.

Am I right in saying that the Loli? line is not quite YOSD, but isn't a typical MSD doll? I'm curious seeing the Tori head on a more YOSD body... Something curvy but less mature. Anyone have any ideas or leads?

 

Correct, the Loli line girls are taller than a typical YoSD, and shorter than a typical mini. Here's a height lineup I did of some of my dolls to show her height; left to right it's an A-Line MNF boy, M-Line MNF girl, DollPamm Loli girl, and F-Line body; FairyLand's minis are shorter than most minis, and Dani's still definitely shorter than even the shortest of them.

She's basically a "little sister" to the minis in her group, though, so her height is pretty much perfect compared to the rest of them, and I love that I can have a variety of heights in my doll group.

Yeah, I don't mind that she is a "mini MSD", I just am not super fond of the body for the character direction I have in my head. I'd rather her be truly YOSD to be a similar size to my Littlefee. Or just less mature, maybe. I'm thinking of some sort of goddess that is friends with my LittleFee, but a young one. If that makes sense? Hard to put something so new in my head into words.

 

I personally don't have any imp. I'm only estimating based on when I got my MH and measured her head. I will look around for some answers though.

i have a monster high, but i've modded it and it has ears so it makes it difficult to measure accurately.

I have Dollpamm Cucu in the honey color and I want to make her look like the one in the Dollpamm pictures as much as possible especially the face up and wig. Any suggestions? Thank you!!

 

Crobidoll has a wig in that size thats pretty similar.

For the faceup, if you send it off to someone else just give them the pictures and tell them to make it look like that. If you do it yourself, have the pictures in front of you for reference. That helps me when I have to redo my freckled boy's face.

Boo is the blue skinned one, I'm so excited to see her in 50-90 days haha. If I love her like I hope I do, I'm planning on buying another imp in white - to dye purple or black.

For now though, I've got time to plan a faceup and find an artist!

 

Dollpamm is releasing a doll similar to Arubi. Moose Tirka! She's sort of elegant and reminds me of a hermit, like in an RPG. The pictures are in instagram!

She's the sequel to Arubi. Supposed to be her big sister at 32cm I believe. I like her so far but the Arubi body is hard to pose due to her single jointed knees.

Hey everyone! I see that the Shota body (gosh, it makes me uncomfortable to type that -- I wish it was a different name!! ) is 33 cm tall without a head -- would that make him too small for most MSD heads? I'd love to make a hybrid with him but I worry he'd end up a little wonky proportion wise.

 

I don't have tonnes of experience, but a bit of googling has me thinking it might be a little too disproportionate? MSD bodies are typically 40+ cm in height. So the head would be large, but it could be cute (pullip style, but not so dramatic)? I'd head over to the photo reference forum and see if anyone can help you out!

I caved and ordered a second Bebe imp today - a Roo in milky white skin.
Now I've got two on the way, and I'm beyond excited for them to get here!

I was thinking of dyeing Roo's skin, to a bright fantasy colour to compliment the event Boo (blue skin). Any suggestions? I thought a bright butter yellow would be pretty unique.

 

I have way too many dolls interrupting my plans this year! I just heard about the new arubi style release and now im clutching my purse strings with the possibility of having to order her when available.

Still, the new Tirka is pretty amazing.

 

You're thinking of Little Arubi, who's been released at least a couple of times so far. The original Arubi is the same basic size as Tirka, and was only available once.

...OK, I will admit to obsessively stalking Doll Pamm's instagram and website multiple times per day hoping for an Arubi rerelease and stalking the sculpting and progress of the new deer anthro girl, Tirka. The moment she's for sale she's going into my cart and I'm checking out, because I couldn't stand to miss out on her like I did Arubi (to be fair, I missed out on her because I was saving for an exchange trip to Japan, which was amazing, but the regret of not buying Arubi even though I really couldn't have afforded her at the time is SO. STRONG.)

 

I am still quite torn but thankfully have a few days to consider. I was so sad I missed the original Arubi but I don’t know yet if this girl is a must have. The lighter limbs v body just don’t call to me as much resin color wise but the taller height does have me intrigued. Doesn’t help I was just recently disappointed with a fantasy-style doll purchase in a resin color I wasn’t sure of so I’m a bit wary. Such hard decisions!!

I agree, she's definitely not appealing to me as Arubi. I much prefer smiling heads msyelf, and Tirka is definitely... not smiley. Especially compared to Arubi. I actually like Trika best in white, though I'm disappointed she's all white -- I'd have preferred coloured fantasy parts (guess there's always dying/blushing).

I'm actually a bit concerned about Tirka's taller height since I want her to match up with my other fantasy tinies, including my Enaibi Mouse Briseis. Another DoA user posted her Briseis next to her Arubi and Arubi was already quite a bit taller! I mean, I guess I can justify the height difference a bit between a mouse anthro and a deer anthro because obviously in real life those animals are vastly different in sizes, but still... the height difference makes me a bit nervous.

I just finally put in for Tiny Momo in peach skin. Shes been on my wishlist for so many years...im still kicking myself for not ordering when the camel skin was available though.

 

I just ordered a white Tirka @Cydril ! As well as a Bebe Imp Roo. The facial expression is so sweet. I think I'll change Tirka to a different head though. I mainly dived in because the body and antlers are so amazing.

 

I was the opposite when Arubi first came out, I only wanted the head but they don't sell them separately. So I did a split with someone I trusted and I got both heads

 

Don't post alot but wanna contribute to this thread just a little. Found this super cute outfit in a korean giftshop and really liked how it looks so i wanted to share >~< he is a dollpamm reo btw

I couldn't find an outfit that really fit my dollpamm, and so i learnt how to sew, and without a sewing machine, I made my Dollpamm Mochi a casual outfit, there is a lot to improve, but i think Mochi is pleased to have an outfit that fits her!

 

I think that's absolutely adorable! And the colours are so cute! And hand sewing is a great skill to have anyway!

I never thought I'd fall into the BJD-world like that but I just lost my heart when I saw her and ever since she arrived I wish I wouldn't have to put her out of my hands for even a second... When I'm at work I'm so looking forward to coming back home and seeing her xD

I love everything about her and so far I think the next doll I'll get will be another from DollPamm... maybe Tirka..?
And I need to get the Baby Rudolph Parts from DP for her because they're cute >w<
Not entirely sure when, though, because I have some other things to save up for and the (still rather new doll-hobby) isn't my top priority so far, but... I'll need more, soon xD
