DollPamm!!!- Part 2

She's really an odd fit for clothes. Her top half is smaller than Yo-SD size, her bottom half is about MSD-size around, but not as long... I've got an outfit for the smaller size "Sweet Dolls" sculpts that fits her wonderfully (alas, I can't find the website selling them! If the seller's back at the con I got the outfit from next year, I'll ask her for a website/etsy name to share here), and another of her outfits came from a "bag of random doll clothes" that I poked through for a trade. They're size-unknown, didn't fit any of the owner's dolls, but a couple of items fit Razzy, so they became hers. Everything else she has so far is something I made for her, so sadly she doesn't have very much yet... though if I get any patterns worked out specifically for her, I'll post them for others to try out!

 

Oh, wow. Thank you @vicemage! That helped me out immensely. Jubilee will be my 2nd hard to clothe character but worth it.

 

They're really adorable and fun to have, so they're worth the clothing struggles. Any stretchy skirts for MSD should work for you, as well as suitably stretchy/roomy shorts (pants will be too long), and snug YO-tops might fit as loose ones for her. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you do with your girl!

 

Well, when you put it that way, @captainkyo, makes sense. I didn't know about those companies because I've only dealt with hook on or mag on high heel feet.

 

I wasn't planning on getting their new girl.... But then I saw that they can fit shoes from a certain other (ot) easily sourced doll.... And now I'm totally getting one.

Anyone else have problems getting clothing to fit over Arubi's fur thighs and upper arms?

 

Okay everyone, she's here as of yesterday....Meet Jubilee. I have no back story on her right now and spending the day bonding with her and just finished my second restringing session with her. She's a tan Dollpamm Ivi. (note: MSD s-hooks will be too big in the tiny head and excuse the nudity.) She's adorable but I'm still looking at Hachi HARD....Maybe if I don't bond with Ivi, I'll go get Hachi.
Edit: I have renamed her Cordelia as of 12/24/2015. Jubilee will be another doll.

 

Grats Gothic! Her lips are so cute and silly~ But if you do get a dollpamm Hachi omg you need to post pics. I fell in looove with Hachi but I bought Reo instead. Btw, did you order directly from the website? I was wondering how long the wait is but I got my reo from dolkus....

 

Thanks @SugarBenki, I already bought her on DOA, preloved. I'm still thinking about getting Hachi but I'm gotta try to bond with the current head at least for a month. If I get a Hachi, I will the crap outta her, promise.

Hello, does anyone know what size of clothing fit Dollpamm Shota boys? Will MSD be too big? Will YoSD be too small? Or it's a combo of both size? Any thought is appreciated. Thanks!

 

I think based on the girls, it will be a mix. I would try to match up his feet to the inside measurements of shoes in the yo and silm msd range. For clothing, try slim msd pants, leggings and yosd shirts. Check his measurements before you buy too. Good luck, I have the same struggle with Cordelia.

I need to get some more sealant and finish the faceups on my ice heads. I realized the chance of my finding two quadrupedal deer-like bodies probably wasn't gonna happen, so now i'm thinking Fantasy Doll Yo bodies for both of them, since their heads fit perfectly. I just need to figure out how to get ahold of some cloven hoof feet and hands for them now.

 

@MelanieGaldes, thank you; I hope I can get some new pictures of her with her new wig soon, and with any luck I'll be able to get back to painting dolls soon, too.

And I'm sure some Arubis will turn up in the Marketplace, so just keep an eye out for her! It might take a while, but one just might show up that's meant to be yours.

@Leader of the Rats I suppose the Impldoll deertaur body is too big, being an MSD size? They have yos with deer hooves, but not quadrupeds. Impldoll is supposed to have really good custom services; maybe they can make you the hooves you need.

 

I haven't actually posted my Arubi since I got her, since she was just a body. But she got a head for Christmas

@Snow, wow, the Mari head looks fantastic on the Arubi body! I'm kind of stalking the RF thread too (eventually one of them is going to get me to pull the trigger, I just know it), but please share her over here as you keep working on her, too! She's definitely on topic to the thread with that body.

 

Wowwwww, I'm so jealous of everyone's Arubi--they're all so cute..I'm sad I missed the chance to get her but one can dream @Snow , I love your Arubi-- I was wondering what a different head might look like on the body; I'm more fond of hybridizing it if I ever got one myself. Does anyone have Reo? I'd love to see some owner pictures of that boy, it seems like the Shota line isn't that popular?

 

Hey guys!! So my Ivi (Cordelia) is coming home Saturday without her mods done. I guess my plans for finishing her this month have changed. Maybe I should buy the Hachi head. I think this was my sign.

 

Like @ToRmEnT I would like to see some pictures of the Shota line dolls. The muscular body is cool ! I like them but I didn't find many photos . Anybody already tried MSD head on this kind of body ?

Definitely check Flickr. Try the terms "Dollpamm Loli Hybrid". Only complete Dollpamms are allowed here.

I have made plans to buy a Hachi head next month (if my finances straighten out.)

 

Hybrids can be posted here; they don't have to be complete DollPamm dolls. It's the same as any other company thread on DoA, hybrids have always been allowed.

I'm really curious to see the new stuff Dr Mes is working on, too; there were a couple of previews on my Flickr feed today, and I'm not sure yet what to think of them, but I'm definitely intrigued!

 

vicemage I've seen previews on Facebook and in Dollpamm's blog - that's definitely very intriguing! Can't say I like the idea of the big head on small body, but the body itself and especially the gesture hands are very nice! I hope the hands will be available separately and will fit the old loli body.

 

I love bobbleheads! The new girl is right up mu alley! But she's going to be limited sets so I don't know that I'll be able to get her.

 

I don't have a need for her but i'm excited to see her finished, she's cute. The new body is supposed to be about 40cm tall according to Dr. Mes. Still hoping for a 50cm girl one day!

As for the new body, I need that in my life and ironically, the bigger head reminds me of Leeke.

 

@Snow that is the cutest hybrid! I hadn't liked Mari with the company faceup but she's actually super cute, and she looks great on that body. Are they both white skin? I was wondering what the natural skin from Dollpamm is like, does it match Fairyland too?

 

Yep they're both white skin and they match really well. The Fairyland is ever so slightly more creamy, so I wonder if they will yellow the same or not :P Can't help with the normal skin though, sorry!

And for everyone wanting more pictures: I haven't really worked on her yet xD I've given her a third eye but I've been really demotivated to work on dolls for a while now. But I will definitely post more pics when I have some

Keewee, I have a camel PiChi and thought she hadn't changed color, but looking more closely at her, I realize she have paler/greener feet and hands now...
I am keeping her near my computer screen, where there is late afternoon sunshine...

Thank you for this question. Im wondering as well about the darkest of new colours. Im having tan withdoll and she dramatically changed colour just after sitting a little bit on my table.. she havent been exposed to the sunlight only just daylight in the room. will be interesting to see pictures of natural skin colour /if they will have such in non limited section/

 

Has anyone else seen the new witches? I am a bit smitten. I love their big ol' heads. I might have to think about this one.

 

Imho they look very nice. I personally liked the grey version tho. Just saw FB post with Cucu honey skin.. and idk.. i think Cucu needs different make up. But its just question of taste surely. Im heavily thinking of body colour here.

 

I agree the face-ups could use some tweaking. I think its the eyebrows I don't like. I think if I get one it will be purple. But I'm not sure I have the free funds right now.

 

I love the witches but I'm going to miss this release too Funds are not what they used to be...

 

I don't have any Dollpamm dolls, but I've had my interest piqued by several of their recent releases. I love a little witch! :P And I love those skin colors too! I'm into the squat stylization of Dollpamm dolls generally though, there is something very distinctive about them; it's growing on me more and more.

 

Actually violet Cucu looks really beutiful. But eh this is really out of my price range. So ill be the one who just enjoys pictures atm.

 

Watch out, @Marjie, that's how I ended up with mine. They're just such a cute body style, that I liked right off and that grew on me more over time until I figured out a way to slip one into my collection. (The other one just demanded she be allowed in.)

I looove their new bobble head girls, esp Cucu... but I think the mint green and violet in full set are over budget for me..
So I might check out Cucu in one of their regular resin color. Considering Camel or Yellow at the moment. Does anyone has both color for resin comparison pic? and how long does the waiting time usually take for Dollpamm?

I love the new witch releases but ouch at the prices! I really like the green skin but I don't particularly like their outfits. I wish you could buy the limited skin colours without their costumes - then I might be tempted.

 

Yeah I agree actually, I like some things about the outfits, but if I could save some money on a blank doll I would be a lot more interested

The basic bobble head isn't that bad but the other two in the limited colors? $600 and no layaway? Well, they need to join forces with a dealer already because that is kinda crazy. I just want the body and outfit, I might open a split.

I just discovered Dollpamm and I'm in love with the Loli body shape! But does anyone find it difficult to find proper fitting clothes? I was curious since most other YoSD sized dolls have little girl proportions.

 

Maybe you could check if DolkStation will be selling any of them? They are a dealer for DollPamm (that's where I went for my Arubi, since she was released at the same time as another anthro I wanted just as much, so I had to layaway both of them); the bobble girls aren't listed yet, but they might be adding them, or might add them on request.

Oddly, I haven't had too bad a time finding clothes for Razzy. She's currently got six outfits that are specifically "hers" (though Opiya, my Arubi, is borrowing one of them because I have nothing for her yet!), half of which I made for her body type, and the rest just working out to fitting her quite nicely.

This one I actually got in a trade; the person I was trading with had bought a lot of random doll clothes, pulled out the ones that fit her dolls, and offered to let me go through the rest in trade for a wig; I have no idea what size the dress and cardigan are acutally meant for, probably Barbie or something close, but they fit her really well!

This outfit is actually meant for MSD; the top is really loose on her, but it works that way (and the elastic for it helps keep it in place a bit better). The shorts/bloomers are a perfect fit on her. (It's the "Chemise and Bloomers" set here.) And apparently I have no pictures of her Wa-Loli outfit, but it was from the same shop, I think in the YoSD size (the bloomers with it just managed to fit). As I recall, they weren't making that outfit anymore, or so I was told when I last shopped with them in person, but the YoSD chemise dresses might work well as very short dresses or longer blouses for them.
