Payment Dollmore Order Question

    1. in the email i got that apparently is for ems tracking, i only get lead to a weird admin page. so..could anyone tell me the ems site with which i can track my package from dollmore?

I was waiting for two weeks for Dollmore to ship my order (clothes, shoes, eyes) before I left a message on their Q&A board and realized they didn't think I had paid yet. :| I used their Paypal invoice and everything. Maybe it's a good idea to paste the order number into the comments just to be safe.

    4. just wanted to let you know that my order arrived her safely within 4 days after shipping. (from korea to germany, quite fast) :)
       
    5. Trying to buy some clouthes from dollmore got an e-mail confirming my order... have and order number.

      Do I still have to pay them directly through paypal? or does it do it automatically? Just checking don't want to be charged twice... also what e-mail do I pay it too. The website wasn't very clear.
       
    6. They will send you another email, with the info to Pay with Paypal,( so has the Paypal invoice).

I ordered some stuff from dollmore, and they sent me the paypal invoice, but I don't have a paypal account linked to my e-mail address, and was planning to use my parents' paypal to pay for the order. But, when we logged onto their account through the link in the e-mail, it said I should use an account connected to my e-mail.
      Can I send the money with my parents' paypal anyway, and include the order number and MY e-mail address or somesuch, or should I cancel the order, make a new account with my parents e-mail and order again, or what? :doh

    9. You can just send the payment to Dollmore's paypal and include your order number when sending payment.
      You don't really need to use the paypal invoice to pay.

    11. Next time to avoid confusion if you know that you're not going to use a paypal with your name under it, list in comments the paypal address that you are going to use. ^^
      But like lucyhayashi said all you really have to do is list the order number.
       
    12. It's also possible to add your email address to your parents' PayPal account. That way you could have your own login etc. Of course, this should only be done with your parents' permission, and future use with your parents' permission, etc. etc.

    13. Ok, realizing how old this post is, it seems irrelevant to talk about the PayPal thing. I placed my order on 8/18, and the "before shipping" hasn't changed since, even when everything is in stock. Plus, it was a very small order - just a doll, a dress, and a pair of shoes.

      I decided to leave them a message on their Q&A board, so let's see what happens!

    15. Old thread I know but I have a query.

      I just added a load of stuff to my shopping cart, total over $800 and it still added a shipping charge. I've written to Dollmore to query this but is it normal? Does the shipping charge come off on the next page? I didn't dare checkout because I don't have the extra $70 for shipping so I can't pay it. At the moment every order over $500 gets free shipping, until December 30th.
       
    16. The free shipping only applies if it fits in one box. You may have gone over that limit. I would leave a message on their Q&A to ask if that is the problem. If not, the "free shipping" proces may not be automated. Dollmore may need to re-invoice you after you place the order.

    18. Ok got a reply, paypal invoice is sent later without shipping added so I've been on the website, added everything to my cart, gone to checkout and pay and the page is just blank. So far my first ordering experience with Dollmore isn't going well. *_*

      ETA: just went on IE instead of Firefox and my order had gone through 3 times with different order numbers! Just written in secret to the Q&A board to ask them for just one order, not three.

      This has turned an exciting time into a time of tension, I sincerely hope that Dollmore fixes their shopping cart system soon because I know I'm not the first to have these problems and this thread was started over year ago. For Dollmore to still have trouble with their shopping cart after a whole year is annoying to say the least.

      ETA (again) Just looked on their website and someone else has said that her order has gone through three times too! Obviously they have a new glitch on their order page.

    20. I just placed an order and got the blank screen too. I hopped out and went onto IE instead of Firefox coz I read somewhere that Firefox can't always display pages but IE can. I got back into my Dollmore account to find out that the order went through 3 times! I've queried it in the Q&A and asked that the order only be one, not three. I can't pay until they tell me which one of the three order numbers they want me to use and the email they sent me included a shipping charge which shouldn't be there so I'm dead confused.

      I took a look in the Q&A to see if I'd got an answer yet and someone else is asking for help as her order went through 3 times as well. Obviously they have a new glitch.

      This isn't the first time Dollmore has had shopping cart problems. They need to sort out an easier way of doing this, it's not exactly made me happy to have to chase around after glitches all evening.
       
    21. Is this right, or am I experiencing technical difficulties? :(
      Im trying to add 8 items but when I try to add the sixth, it removes one item to add the new one every time. Is that normal, or will I have to pay two lots of postages?
       
    22. That's not normal (you should be able to add 23 different items), but if it continues to do that you can always submit more than one order and ask them to combine orders. They will combine them and only charge you shipping for one box. :)

    24. I doubt they did it for more money. I've been keeping an eye on their Q&A board to get answers for my own queries and I've noticed several people having problems with the shoping cart. I've asked around and there's as many people with no problems at Dollmore's shopping cart as there are with problems. I think it's luck of the draw as to whether or not it works for you today. they are always happy to combine postage so I doubt very much they did anything deliberate.
       
    25. I have a question about layaway. I asked on the Q & A board and Dollmore said that I could do layaway if I finished paying in December. Has anyone done layaway with them before ? Do you just add the items to the cart like normal and make a note in the comments that you are paying half now and half later?
       
    26. I use minority web browsers (Opera and now Chrome). I tend to assume that functionality failures are due to the browser.

      If I am not sure about the compatibility of a site--like a shopping cart working weird--I use Internet Explorer to see if it works properly then; it almost always does. Even Firefox has too many incompatibilities to me for this purpose. (Yes, I always have at least 3 browsers installed.)

      But that said, Dollmore was pretty flexible with me regarding combined orders and even changed items in the past. So leave a message in their Q&A and I trust that they will fix your issue!

      And dollmore tends to be cheaper on the shipping/clothing costs.
      I've bought there before for my Ren [CP Yder], never had an issue with his clothes.

      Anyways
      I purchased this shirt for Bory

Luts has a Q&A, and when I sent Dollmore an email, it was returned to me as if the address didn't exist. I'm upset about it. :\ Luckily, Bory won't be here for a few more weeks [Thank god, because he doens't even have a name yet!]

    30. Your best bet is probably to hit up their Q&A board (check out the Q&A tab on their website). Log into your account first and then post up about your problem there. It would probably help to include your order number as well as a photo or photos of the item.

      Although to be fair - perhaps it's just my monitor - but the sleeves of the outfit do look a darker/creamier white than the rest of the top does when I look at the official Dollmore photos.

      EDIT: Doh! I type too slow! Nice to hear you found out what to do though! XD
       
    31. If you don't mind me saying... they do kind of look yellow on the site, too - though maybe not as noticable as your photo.

      Even the socks have a yellowish border. I think that's how it is supposed to look.

    33. Gahhhh!!! I feel like screaming! After the shopping cart glitch I now have a new problem! Someone on DoA ordered the same doll as me less than a week before I did. So when they said their tracking number had their doll in their country I decided to check my own order status. Over a week later and mine still says "before shipping" so I wrote in the Q&A asking about my order, saying that I know someone else almost has their doll now and I am still not shipped yet. I got a reply from Jee saying that they thought my order had shipped already so they don't know why my status is "before shipping". They will look into it and let me know by email.

      Thank goodness this wasn't my first doll because this would have put me right off the whole thing! Luckily my first two dolls were ordered and delivered without a single hitch so I know that this is a one off glitch but still, it's so hard for me to relax about this. In the Q&A there are several people asking when their orders will be shipped, all recent posts so I'm assuming that this is a new problem. I have written back to Jee to say thanks for investigating, I really do appreciate that they are looking into it but I would appreciate it more if I could have just ordered a doll, got a tracking number and had it delivered.
       
    34. They were supposed to get back to me on Monday. It's Wednesday now and they still haven't responded to me. Have put yet another query up in the Q&A will wait and see what they say.

Hey DoA's Lover's, just wondering if i make a layway with 710 dollors worth how long would i be able to pay it off with a small income with say 200-240 i think. :( And after i get it paid off do they ship it right away. I would love to take my darling on my trip with me but im hoping to pay off before the end of april.

    36. I think this question is better posted to Dollmore.
      From what I can remember seeing on their Q&A board, if you do choose layaway, they won't allow free shipping. You have to complete payment for an order worth $600 within 2 months, and if it's worth over $800 then it's 3 months. But don't take my word for this since
      the post that I got this from was made in 2009, so they may have changed how they do layaway now.
