    2. The face is adorable! But the head is so large compared to the body... I think they should have made her a little chubbier and with bigger hands and feet. But it's a neat idea! And she does look good next to Lusion so they are on the right track for sure.

    3. I thought that too... but I wonder if they aren't going for the "baby" feel. Real babies heads are huge in comparison... but are chubbier too so... But I think she's soooo cute.

    5. Ha ha when I saw her on DM's page the other day I thought she was Pukifee-sized. Then I saw her height and was like, WAT. I'm glad they have a picture of her in a person's arms, it was hurting my brain to picture her IRL size. I think she's adorable, but I don't do this scale so I won't be getting her....I am so intrigued by the proportions though.

    7. I'm beyond in love with the "french resin" version but for $150 more... I dunno... $550 for a 40cm doll... the regular resin I could do but I dunno... I need to find someone to do a long layaway 'cause I want her so badly. I'd sell my other dolls for her I want her so badly! I'm sure she's rather hard to shop for, probably will only be able to buy Dollmore clothes for her... but I'd sew and sew and sew for her... especially since my kids will be getting to a point where they don't want home made clothes anymore T_T haha

    8. They are quite cute, but now that I am seeing pics with the body, they are kinda creeping me out!!! Which is weird because very few dolls have ever creeped me out before :|

      The scale is very interesting (still trying to wrap my head around it), and I will definitely be looking forward to seeing owner pics!

      hmmmm... I will have to go hunt down the pics with Lusion... Interesting indeed!

    9. What I want to know is, why don't I have a flamingo-head hook-thing to change all my DM hands out?! One of my Kara Klums is wearing the worlds worst sweater - I have to put baggies on his hands just to get it on....flamingo-head would make life so much easier....

    11. I LOVE this doll, I think the body is perfect, I am happy they did not do a fat baby body, I am a big head girl.
      I also LOVE the idea of the non French resin French resin, I am pretty sure I need this one.
      Call Me Stephanie, Denver Doll will do a three or maybe four part layaway, and Fabric Friends and Dolls also does layaway.

    12. Yeah, I was hoping for a super long layaway haha No, I'll probably email DDE. I've done lay a ways with them and never had an issue.

      Usually I don't like big heads but I think she's just so cute... But usually my dolls are meant to be adults and she's not so it makes sense for her to have a big head. My daughter does too haha They'd be like the same size. <3

    13. fabric and friends does awesome layaways. they offer up to a year long layaway if you need it :D Also very easy to work with.

      On the other note. I would love to see this new doll along side a Lusion or Trinity XD

    14. I wasn't sure if they'd do a year long one for these girls since they aren't AS expensive as the Lusion/Trinity. I guess it can't hurt to ask though. I would pay it off early, I know I would... I just HATE paying all up front for an item I won't get for months... I buy almost all my dolls on layaway for that reason lol

      I'd love that too! I wonder if we ask them to take some more pictures if they would... if enough ask maybe... one of with a girl with Lusion or Trinity and maybe one more with a person...

    15. I would totally do it for us but I wont be getting my Lusion till next year lol. And i dont know of anyone near me who has BJDs and would be getting one of these new dolls. They are cute but truthfully I prefer them to expand in the selection before ordering if I do XD (eyes all the other doll projects that needs to get completed)

      I'm sure someone will show up at some point with a comparison.

    17. I been looking through the pictures and I found one with a Lusion :D You wouldn't realize it in till you look at the hands and the doll's lips. I believe its a dreaming lusion. I might be wrong XD So the little one is pretty big if she can stand up to a Lusion at 40cm big.

    21. She's super cute! I think I'll get her eventually to go with my Lusion and Trinity, but I want to wait a few months to see reviews of the french resin and see what they come out with for limited editions. Clothes wise I wonder if she'd fit into some of the porcelain doll or the 1950's 10" ballerina doll dresses. She looks like she'd have similar enough proportions. Good excuse to haul out some of my antique patterns if she does!

    22. I was wondering that too actually. I do a lot of shopping for vintage and antique doll clothes at shows and a lot of it fits my chunkier MSD sized group (Volks, DM and BF) with very few adjustments. If she's shorter and thicker it could fit her perfectly...how cute would that be!!! Omg I'm going to talk myself into one....

    23. I'm not sure why I keep coming back to this thread, Mokashura is strangley fascinating to me... let's just hope I never see one in person, that's what usually puts me over the edge to buying one!

      Fush In the pic you mentioned, it looks like she is standing next to a sitting Lusion, and keep in mind that Lusion is about 80cm, so standing next to each other Mokashura would be slightly taller than half the height of a Lusion.

    24. Ha I would love too, I've wanted an Alice in Wonderland doll for a couple years now and I think she'd be perfect! But not this year. I have a Dollmore doll I'm ordering this month (two weeks, that's my goal) and he was supposed to be the last this year (other than a head if I can get it). But maybe next year! She'd be so adorable with a blond wig and blue dress!

    26. Hopping on the Mokashura train! This girl is just adorable! I collect Disney animator toddler dolls so the bigger, child-like proportions don't bother me. That peach colored wig they displayed in one of her promo pics looks perfect on her!

      Going back to someone's question about layaway, Dollmore does layaway as well; I have two Catish dolls on layaway with them now for 5 months (gonna try to pay it off sooner but the option is there). Just post on their Q&A boards with how long you want the layaway to be. They're really good about responding quickly. ^_^

    27. Oh really! 5ms would be great, especially since I'd qualify for free shipping so it won't be cheaper to order though a dealer. w00t w00t.

      Has anyone actually ordered yet? I'm going to talk to the hubby but I'm sure he'll say yes if I can do it on layaway. I have NO idea what I'd do with her but man... this is the first time in a long time I had that "I ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS DOLL" feeling. In fact, last time was my first BJD, a Dollmore Narsha. I think that's why I love her so much, she REALLY reminds me of my first doll (whom I sadly had to sell at one point. She was French Resin too so I couldn't replace her since the FR one is now sold out. )


      ETA: Just was lurking the Q&A board and noticed someone asking for the pink wig... so someone definitely bought her so far haha Fingers crossed said person gets on DOA and shares <.< >.>

    30. I can't get the whole Disney Princess thing out of my head now....young Rapunzel? Or Merida?? I still like Alice, but that's a doll for another year...Knowing they fit other dolls clothes kind of opens up a lot of possibilities.

    33. I left a message on the Q &A board asking if they have any plans to release her in the "baby skin" in white. If they plan to do it any time soon I'm going to wait for white skin... but if not, I'm going to jump on the normal. White skin would work better for my plans but I don't want to wait forever in the hopes it may one day happen either... 'cause I'm already planning all sorts of things for her and want her NOW! lol

      Had to transfer money to my Paypal but if they say no about the white skin, I'll be ordering in a few days. I'm so excited. I'm going to do a layaway. I may throw some clothes on but we'll see. Not saying the stuff isn't worth it but it's so hard for me to spend $50 on a dress for my doll when I don't spend that on my own clothes LOL

Anyone that's purchasing her for the first round picking up clothing for her as well? While one or two of the new clothing items are cute, the rest just doesn't catch my eye.

      What a pity, I saw some of their ws and yes, it's gorgeous! Oh well, at least I won't have to wonder if it's the right choice "settling" now since there's not much hope of ever getting ws.

      Do they wait until layaway is paid off before starting the order or? 'cause I'd pay it off when the order is ready to ship, I just hate dropping so much money and having to wait forever haha.

    39. I didn't know there was a thread for these girls already!! I LOVE their adorable big-headedness. They remind me of Lati Yellow's and Pukifees just ginormous ones! haha. I just placed my order (for the normal skin) with a custom faceup. I also ordered some clothes a wig and shoes for her. I'm really excited...I love big dolls. I already have a Trinity who I adore, and I've always wanted a Lusion (Just waiting until they release one I HAVE to have).

      For their measurements, the foot size is listed as 6.4cm.

      Not sure about the boots. I think their foot width is 2.8cm so they may be a touch tight or they may not be. Glad you have others who can steal them if they don't fit though.

      Which clothes and wig did you get?!

      I want the baby skin one with that pink wig and those blue eyes... just totally fell in love with her from that look! I plan to change her drastically later (wig, eyes, etc) but for now I want those. I do my own face ups/body blushing though so I'll be doing that.

      I've always planned on getting a "gothic" Dahlia, and I wanted my Mokashura to be similar, so for my custom faceup I asked for a faceup similar to the Bie You Tian Di Fei Ren Jian Dahlia. But with dark brown eyebrows. I think the contrast of her cream white outfit and her dark makeup will be perfect for what I wanted!

    42. Shawnee: I was worried about if they were measuring the inside of the shoe or the outside... 'cause if the measurement is the outside it may not fit or fit rather snug. I dunno, I don't usually buy shoes (I have two pukis who fit kelly shoes and a fairy with fantasy feet) so I don't have a lot of good experience with buying shoes. The few times I had didn't end up great >_<

      Awwwww, I love the things you picked out for her and she's going to look amazing in that face up. I was looking at that bob wig as well!

      I can't wait to see pictures of her with your Trinity! I love the Lusion and Trinity dolls but could never spend that much on a doll right now nor would I ever have the room for them yet.

      I asked for a 5 month layaway (I was told in the Q&A that I could take a 5m with the "baby skin" version). For my wig/eyes I asked for the pink and blue in this picture (http://www.dollmore.com/shopimages/dollmore/082003000012.jpg). As soon as another doll I have sells I plan to pay her off but for now I need the layaway. I hate paying up front 'cause that makes the wait worse for me haha But I'll definitely be paying her off as soon as she's ready. I'm so excited I could squeal. ^_^ Gotta wait for them to send the invoice so I can pay the first payment. ^_^

      I've never ordered from Dollmore before, but at FIRST GLANCE of Mokashura doll - Duyou I am totally IN-DOLLY-LOVE with them BOTH!! :aheartbea I think she is PERFECT size, I LOVE the BIG head and slightly-chubby "little girl" body, as I've been wanting a BJD with the SAME sweetness and innocence of LaTi Yellows, but BIGGER....much bigger...and Dollmore appears to have captured that with Mokashura Doll - Duyou!! :D

    46. Hello! I hadn't noticed this girl but I got a notice from DM today about her sale and now I'm doomed ...... My Alex took over 3 months with a face up. Are wait times still running that long? Is it quicker without a faceup? I've only ordered from DM the 1 time so I didn't know if that was normal. Thanks for any advice!

Hello!....and Congrats on your order of Mokashura! :) I've never ordered from Dollmore before, so not sure of their layaway terms....Do they begin making the doll as soon as first payment is received? Or do you have to pay off layaway in full before they start on the doll? Thanks for any help.

    53. Man... I'm almost annoyed... why couldn't they release all the clothes at one time?! I mean, yay options but... I don't want to add a bunch of things to my order but I swear every few days they add more and I want more LOL

      I almost regret the dress I picked out for her, I settled 'cause at the time there wasn't many options and a week later there's tons more! I wonder if they would change my order for me... I'm sure they would. Probably ask me to cancel and just redo it... I've never seen a company release so much like this!


      ETA: Gotta say though, not hating all the extra pictures of them. <3 Just reminds me more that I made the right decision. <3


      Brad: I got one in the baby skin with a few extras but I got mind blank. :)

    55. Well, They didn't release any clothes for Alexia when they released her! They never have released much! I wonder if she would be more popular if there were clothes available.
