Finally got my You-You from Alice's Colletions! I cannot believe how cute she is. Her name is Lalucia!

 

@TrashKing Yay!!!!! Oh, she is soooo cute!!! I love her lacy bonnet and pink hair!!! I'd love to see more of that outfit, looks cool. She looks great with purple eyes! Awe, she's so cute I love her name! Welcome, little Lalucia!!!!

Here is one more I have of the outfit, from a different angle. The back camera on my phone doesn't work, so I had a hard time taking pictures of her with the front camera. I just got her today and had to take pictures, so sorry for the poor quality as well!
I actually got the outfit off of ebay for really really cheap, second hand I think. It was a serious steal and I couldn't resist, so I've had it for weeks now iust waiting for her to arrive to put it on her. It is just as cute as I could have hoped. It's a pink, bunny/sakura themed yukata (short kimono?). Her head thingy has cute little bunny ears on it, and there is a sash around her waist, the little rope bow and bag on her lap. The wig she's wearing is the one from her listing! I may have more pictures later, when I have a different camera

Pink skin! I have mostly white skinned dolls but I found I like pinkish better. Thank you guys so much I am so happy with her ;-;

@TrashKing Awe, she is so, so cute!!!! Your photo is fine! Kudos to you for getting a pic under challenging conditions. I agree wholeheartedly with @Rabbit-moon, you snagged a real treasure there, it's darling! The little fabric bag on her obi makes me wonder what she keeps inside? Fairy dust maybe???? Please, indulge me!

@Ballet Awe, I can't imagine how you must be missing your little cutie! I'm loving these bunny ears and the froggy themed outfit on her buddy, Mochi. I hope Mochi is fairing well in her absence. When are you expecting Alice to be home from her spa vacation?

Thank you both @mollym and @Rabbit-moon sadly, for me, Mochi is away with Alice to get a faceup as well X'D and I'm not sure when they'll be back i sent them off on Monday so they have a good while away. Lucky for me though that they got there fast so I'm first in line ^_^ so they'll be done fast. I'm so excited to see a MDD style faceup on Alice too ^__^ thank you both!!

I just got a notice and a tracking number from Alice's Collection that my DL Ke boy is on the way! This is so great! I can't remember the last time a doll arrived within a months' time. Woot! *Does the happy dance!*

It was kind of lonely in the Doll Love Waiting Room. I was the only one in there. I can't believe no one else has taken advantage of the Summer Event. Doll Love tinies are so cute!

 

Yay! Look who arrived yesterday! My DL Ke boy! Isn't he cute? I love the little pair of underwear he came in.

I wasn't expecting him quite this fast, so I gotta scramble to find him a wig and some clothes.

 

Oh I keep forgetting to post there >< I ordered a twin for my You you (sleeping you you) on the 3rd!

 

@Rabbit-moon Yay!!!!!!! Awe, he's such a cutie! Those undies are so cute and IMO very gender appropriate! I love those purple eyes the Ke kids come with too. Cute!!! What sort of wig and clothes do you have planned for him? I love the pics of the new arrivals, it's so much fun to share in the joy of a new little fella!!!!

@Aliyahbetd Oh, I don't know if I've seen owner pics of the sleeping You you yet. Cool! It will be very exciting to see her with her twin. Did you get the same resin color for them both?

Thanks I'm getting her in pink like Mouse (my youyou), and I got the default outfit from the half closed eyed you-you so they will have matching but not identical outfits!

Francie is so precious, you should definitely post more pictures!

 

Thank you so much mollym! I think the Ke sculpt makes an adorable boy.

Here's a pix of my Doll Love Crew. Ke is now all dressed up and hanging out with his gal-pals, YouYou and YouYou2.

I was kind of surprised at how yellow his resin is. In the photo below, my YouYou is pink resin, YouYou2 is white resin, and Ke is definitely yellow. I guess I'm used to other companies' normal yellow resin, which is generally very pale and sort of beige-ish.

But, that's okay, I'm not one of those collectors who absolutely hates yellowed resin. I don't mind it when my dolls yellow. It's like a patina as my dolls get older. I was just surprised that he arrived looking more yellow than some of my bjds that are over 10 years old.

The eyes are a problem, though. I love the color, but the eyes don't appear to be big enough. You can clearly see the blue eye putty on the inside and outside corners. Luckily, I have plenty of eyes laying about, and will switch them out.

Ke arrived so quickly, I don't have a name for him, yet. I guess I'll just have to play with him, and the girls, until he tells me what to call him.

@Rabbit-moon Awe!!!!!! Look at him! He's so adorable with his two little buddies! I'm sure they're now having a great time together! I kinda like yellow dolls too, I think Island Doll is a similar yellow new. Variety is great! I didn't even realize it was an option!

@Ballet Wow! She looks so different and cute! Yes, I see what you mean as she is now sporting a more anime-like look. She looks good!

@pandakey Looks like your link broke? I think I saw it really quick yesterday when I was checking for something real quick in between tasks. I love YanYan and I'm glad to see her in the thread. They are for sure too far and in between!

I hope I can stop being so sorry soon and share some more Francie spam! The last photo session I did was of a doll getting packaged, so not much fun really. I hope to find her a little jacket and coat this year for the changing weather. Last year I managed to find her some long sleeve tops but it would be neat to have some seasonal pics. I'm going to try to get her outside soon but lately we've been having lots of rain so it's either wet or my grass is high!

I thought I had a pair of 14mm purple eyes in my box of eyes, but I was wrong. Found a lovely pair on Ebay; so I should be getting those next week.

 

Is the one in the middle the 'yellow skin tone'? If so, I really like it!

The girl on the left of him is a normal pink YouYou, and the girl on the right is a white YouYou2.

Just got my shipping notice for Mouse's twin! She is being shipped airmail so It will take a while, but still! I'm excited

 

@Aliyahbetd Yay!!!! The shipping notice is an exciting milestone! It's worth getting excited about, for sure! Who knows, customs might process quickly and you're new addition might be home before you know it. It will be fun seeing them in their coordinating outfits. How do you order those, btw? Can those be ordered on their own? Will she come with a wig? Are you going to change the eyes??? Or do they even show? My dollshe sleepy face Saint shows eyes just a bit. It's the only sleepy face I've seen in person. I look forward to seeing the Sleepy Face You You.

Alice Collections lets you order the outfits separately. I just had to put the corresponding amount from the $1usd page in my cart, and write what I wanted in the order comments box. She is coming with a free pair of eyes, but I chose the fully closed eye face, so they shouldn't show. I ordered a matching wig separatly, but its still shipping too! I hope they come around the same time

What type of eyes is Ke currently wearing? I'm deciding between Ke and Yanyan. Would you say that Ke's eyes enough of a problem to sway my opinion?

 

lalajulep, my Ke is now wearing a pair of generic glass eyes I purchased on eBay in a size 14mm. I really don't consider Ke the problem. Whomever worked on him at Doll Love simply gave him eyes that were too small. (I think the newer sculpts have smaller eyes.) The new 14mm eyes I got him fit him just fine.

 

My girl with new face up and yukata I think I will buy another youyou with boy body, just be a twins.

I got my sleeping Yoyo a while ago. Just need to get around to posting her box opening. I wasn't so in love with her at first ( I definitely want to change her faceup to match her twin better) but I think she's growing on me.

I went over to check out your box opening. Congrats on getting your new little darling! Sleeping YouYou is so pretty and demure. Sorry you are not pleased with her face-up. What exactly is wrong with it? I'd love to see a picture of your two YouYou(s) together.

 

It's a lovely natural faceup, but its a little soft compared to Mouse's faceup, especially in the eyebrows. And since I want them to be identical twins, I'd like them to look a bit more similar. It's nbd really

Aliyahbetd, What a difference in face-ups! I can really see what you are talking about, now. Even her eyeliner needs to be way darker and more prominent to match your first YouYou. Sorry it turned out so different. She's still very sweet looking.

Thank you mollym! Aren't those sweaters cute? I love Ugly Christmas sweaters! I found them at Michael's and they fit the tinies perfectly. YouYou and Ke were definitely ready for Christmas.

Mouse looks so cute! And those "ugly" Christmas sweaters are such great finds! I hope next week I'll be able to contribute more photos, this weekend I'm going on my first cruise and Alice is sneaking on board lol no worries, only going to be taking her photos inside the boat. Couldn't imagine what would happen outside with the strong winds >.<
