I'm loving that Pooh bear top and Eeyore plush toy! He is so, so cute! I could just eat him up, he's so sweet!!!!! Spam him more!!!!!

Oh, that must be a well starched nightgown!!! Does he have a character? Is he just a fun loving little kid? I love hearing about other dolls, and post all the spam you like. I will try to return the favor when I finally have my little girl.

 

He does! He didn't when I originally bought him - but when my friend and I found those eyes I knew who he could be!
The character is called Musou Rose, he's half-Japanese half-French and has an older brother called Kage (who i'm ordering on the 17th but he's OK's Black Star sooo xD). Musou is currently 11, his parents died when he was 4 and at the same time he lost his eyesight (in the same event). He was in the streets for a while with Kage until Kage was ten (there's about 5 years between them) and then Musou was kidnapped by a very rich man (this story is actually a few years old so I don't remember some details exactly) and just recently escaped (though he was well looked after and Kage was eventually able to visit things happened and now he's here. He's a +Anima (i will eventually get him and Kage wolf ears and a wolf tail when I can find them!) and he's very innocent and naive - he doesn't know about sex, dating, violence or anything like that... he is literally my purest character xD (and that's saying something when I have characters with FASD and Angelman's Syndrome and Peter Pan syndrome soooo... )

I got pink and from a verified ebay seller (i can't seem to work doll love's site ;A; my laptop is fussy sometimes) and no she's not - not in musou's story at least but I do have things in mind for her all depending on what eyes she suits 'cause I ordered LOTS! xD and I will~

 

Yay! Yiyi will be my first girl, so I am really, really excited. I have all others being boys, so I have had lots of fun looking at dresses and shoes. What size eyes did you order? What kinds? I have been holding onto eyes lately to try in case I don't like what they send her with.

 

I got three different sets of eyes. One set is 14mm and the other two are 12mm... if she uses the 12mm eyes she's gonna have heterochromia which will help me finalise her character but I need to know what she suits for obviously xD I got them from wamimi1 on ebay - I ordered them like 2 hours ago and they've already been shipped (and I ordered 6 pairs of eyes so...)

I'm super excited even though she was just a random impulse purchase xD I just decided the other day "i need to buy wenwen" and so i've done it.

 

That is very cool. Cutiepie also has a Wenwen. I really like hers. I am looking forward with you for yours to arrive. I am very excited for all these babies to make it home!

I bought Yiyi another outfit, it is a pink nurse outfit. The ebay seller sent a hairbow to match as well. I cannot wait to try on all these clothes I am collecting for her.

That's exactly where I got it. I go in every now and then to see if they have a new style. The children hair clips are normally a good size for dolls aswell.

I just ordered Wen Wen! Eeee, I'm so excited! There will be 2 little doll love tinies to keep each other company now. They're still way outnumbered by the Pullips though, lol.

Heheheh, that's funny! I think it's only because her irises touch the bottom eyelid. If they were smaller irises pointing more toward the top of her head maybe she would not look so menacing.

Yes!!!! Love the panda ensemble!!!!! I just had my girl's panda purse come in the mail yesterday. I am still waiting on 2 more dresses and her of course! If I don't have any word to me about her on Monday evening, I am asking about her.

Oh my goodness!!! She does look so cute in that hat! I love it!!! Did you make it for her? It fits perfectly, I love her cape as well.

 

I don't have the skills! I got it from an accessory shop around halloween, it had a big hair clip on it that I removed. The cape was made by me though.

 

That's a great find! The cape really ties it all together.

That is a very fancy spring outfit! She looks so cute!!! I like her Hello Kitty barrettes!

After getting myself all worried, Yiyi made it home today!

She came with a very beautiful wig as a free gift. It is so nice, I am afraid to use it other than very special occasions! I quickly dressed her in her nurse's outfit then changed her into some cute casual clothes to wear for awhile! It wasn't the best lighting time in my living room, but I couldn't wait. She is normal skin but the light was too bright I think.

I only had a very small disappointment that a cute long wavy pink wig I bought to go with the pink nurse outfit is too small. The clothes I have tried all fit! I changed her eyes to 13mm eyeco silicone eyes. I think they look nice. I will have to put a little extra glue on her lashes very soon. One is a little loose. I just don't want to take her eyes out and leave her head off today.

I can't wait to get on cutiepie's list for a custom panda outfit! If only I hadn't spent all of April's doll money already!

I am really having fun with my Yiyi, I am glad I choose her. I am having trouble picking a name for her though. I hope to take her to a Japanese style friendship garden next month with my local meet group. Next year I should get her a kimono to wear for such occasions.
Has anyone ever bought any of the extra hands? There are many different ones, I think of them sometimes but wonder if their color is consistent.

I love this dress on Nysa. She seems to really like it too. It is a great spring dress. I love her in cornflower blue and white. It goes well with her eyes!

Cuteness all around, yay!!!

The kitty dress was a treasure find on eBay. However, the tags inside are a piece of grey ribbon with 'jennygrey' printed on the jumper and top. It was the first outfit I bought from her and I love it too! I did some snooping and I think this is someone who used to sell on Etsy. I am thinking, she needs a panda jumper skirt too with a black top. I know I can go nuts on etsy, so I am trying to stay away.

I'm having trouble naming her. I really like Francie, for Frances, but I don't know if it fits her yet. I have also considered Evie, Louise, Sylvia, Lilith, Evelyn, Flora, Sonya, Lucille, and Ruth. Hummmm.... hopefully I can narrow it down soon! I can't wait for May when I will give myself an allowance to buy a few more outfits for her!

Yeah, deciding a name for them can be tough but, if you wait a bit, sometimes the doll will just sort of tell you the name it likes. I know it sounds crazy, but you can look at the doll and a name will just pop into your head as if the doll whispered it to you. I've had that happen a couple of times when I was stymied in my choice of names.

Okay, enough crazy-lady doll talk. Congrats on getting your new girl! She's adorable.

Nysa's new wig is here! I'm so excited. Sorry for the not-so-great picture! I plan on getting better ones tomorrow in the daytime. I just couldn't wait to share her!



It's an Angell-Studio wig. When I took it out of the package it looked like it was going to be WAY too small! It fits PERFECTLY though. It's got the right amount of stretch!

Thank you! I love it so much. She's sitting on my desk, I keep smiling when I look at her! And thank you for the compliment on her clothing! I just made this outfit today from some scrap fabric from a bag I made. There are a pair of teal leggings, too!! I'll be sure to share another picture tomorrow.

 

Sorry for the double post, but I was able to take a couple of pictures of Nysa today! This one turned out pretty dark still. :/ I really need to get a better camera!



This one turned out pretty bright! :3 I really love these eyes on her, but I know she can't keep them. Any suggestions on eye color/brand? I just can't decide! I'm pretty sure I'm set on this size, 12mm. (These eyes belong to my Luna, who will hopefully be coming home soon!)

 

I keep telling myself to make a photo before it's dark outside and I just can't manage! I will try to make some tomorrow. Then I will edit this post.

I tried the 11mm eyeco silicone ultra eyes and they are too small for my Yiyi. I put the 13mm eyeco silicone ultra eyes in and they fit very well. She wears color 163. So, eyeco is an option if you don't mind silicone eyes. I have some inexpensive 12mm glass eyes somewhere from eBay and I will try those. They sell every color you can imagine on eBay and most of them are $10 or less, so there's that too. I think the ones she is wearing now look fantastic, so maybe just pick a different color of the kind she is wearing now?

 

Long time no see!! Mainly because Chiisa has been face-less for almost a year. In July we're moving and I decided it's about time I gave her a face so I sucked it up and went at it. I'm happy with it

 

Mollym, I thought about buying her a pair of her own Makoeyes! I do love them, they are so pretty. It's just deciding on a color! I think I may stick with purple, no blue. She's cute in purple! I love eyeco eyes, too! I have had a couple of pairs before. They are super nice.
