squib-vs-aizen - After my purchase it took about 20 working days before she was shipped! I got my shipping notice on a friday and on monday she arrived at my place Which is really fast for a doll with a face-up!

 

thank you =) i actually ordered him from alicescollections, i really hope that he will arrive soon (hopefully it will take at least 20 business days like yours) i just cant wait to have him home now =D

 

More Gennie spam. I finally had time to put her in clothing that's more her taste and she got a new wig.

Eliza got a new face-up a few days ago, and everything went fine and I was actually really pleased with the results, until the last sealing with MSC... On her face it had appeared lots of tiny white dots and ruined everything I had spent hours on that face-up and I don't feel motivated to remake it, but I have to, someday. She just has to bear with this one for some time... At least until I figure out what caused all those annoying dots.
And good news is that her new hands arrived yesterday!! It was the first time I ever replaced a body part on a resin doll and it was really exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time xD Me heart beat like crazy and wouldn't calm down until it was all done!

 

wow nice face up there =) i love the freckles, and she's really cute i think the face up is fine since the pic doesnt really show the white dots. but if ur gonna redo the face up soon, i hope u still stick to this face coz its really cute :3 *squeals*

i wonder if my zozo will come with that hand coz the company pictures actually shows that he's wearing that hand. anyway, i really cant wait to get him XD

 

Does anyone have owner pictures of Chi? A friend of mine is debating between chi or Zozo, but there aren't any good pictures of chi's faceup without the wig covering the eyebrows.

I have a question about the sculpt fuyumi,because when I try to find pics of her on google I mostly find pics of yoyo wich is really confusing.
is there a difference between the dolls or is fuyumi the same doll(sculpt) as yoyo?

sylvesther - Yoyo and Fuyumi are two different sculpts! I guess since there isn't so many Fuyumi around, it's hard finding pictures of her. But she is my second favourite from Doll-Love and I would love to see some more owner pictures of her

Hey guys... I just bought a YoYo (my first yosd size doll, I usually go for MSD size), and I was curious if any of you know if the newer bodies fit in Dollmore Dear Doll size? I can only seem to find measurements for the old body size, and I don't want to purchase any outfits for my new baby if they won't come close to fitting. Any help would be awesome

Hi there I'm new to DoA and dolls... I have a little bunch of cuties started. My first new-from-the-box doll is Demeter, a white skin Fuyumi! I just got her last week as an amazing surprise. I love her face, and the feel and glow of new resin. I was wondering, did your stock faceup come with ridiculous lashes? Because mine did o_O I have lots to learn about customizing still, and I'm looking forward to making lots of outfits and costumes for Demeter. Her first will probably be Alice in Wonderland, when I can find some time to sew! Here are some pics:

Sorry for the huge delay everyone, but the rain finally cleared and I took advantage of the sunny day to photograph my friend's Doll Love Youyou (Yoyo). Unfortunately, I don't have any clothes for her since she is not my doll and just arrived with my doll in the same shipping box, so I threw on an animal hoodie that one of my smaller boy dolls wears. Enjoy!

 

Wow YoYo is popular and I understand why because she's very pretty. Anyone have Night. I wanna see her differntly.

 

I just stumbled onto this thread looking for photos of yuyu, and you guys have helped out a lot already! I'm completely smitten by yoyo, and if luck is in my favor, I'll be able to put one on layaway in the next couple weeks! But before I do, I was wondering if anyone might have photos of the pink resin and the white resin next to each other? I have a doll love msd in pink skin, and it would be my first new white skin and I want to make sure it is not to blindingly white if I choose that route.

 

One other question, where did you purchase your dolls from? The reason I ask is YouYou isn't even on the Doll Love site and Mint On Card doesn't have any of them stocked.

 

Princess sarah- Well, I put a yoyo on layaway on the minoncardinc site! And right now they have an event so you can get a free head. As for getting one already in stock, I think that may be difficult. most bjd's aren't really in stock and have to be preordered.

 

I adore long eyelashes, they make the eyes look so real and intense!

How do you think YouYou would like a dark colored banged wig, only seen light colored ones on her.

 

well sara, besides a couple I know what you mean ^^ I don't see many dark haired yoyo's. So I took my (terrible) editing skills and came up with this:
Maybe this will help the visual a bit? I think darker hair would look really cute!

Sorry for the double post, but what size eyes do you guys have for your darlings? I have 14mm in Echo right now, but I'm wondering if 12mm would be better, any suggestions?

 

I got my tiny youyou in the other day! I'm really happy with her xD moc accidentally gave me a default faceup so I'll change that when I have time (I have a couple others that need a new one)

I think someone here was wondering what the youyou looked like with dark hair and I tried that photoshop, so maybe this will be more help ^^

I recently learned how to crochet so of course I had to start making my dollies some things, so here's Chiisa's little hat and scarf I made she's hanging out on the Christmas tree for now (we'll be gone the week we usually set it up so we went on and did it early) with her family sitting beneath it XD

I've had my Yoyo for about 2 years now and her body has yellowed so much that her head is a completely different color now. Has anyone else seen strong yellowing in thei DL dolls? None of my other dolls have yellowed so much. It's still a nice color.Just curious.

I have a question! What size eyes do they 1/6 dolls come with?

 

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe they come with 14mm eyes.
I've seen them with 12mm and they looked much smaller than the default that my Chiisa came with.
I also know some companies send different eyes with different sculpts, not sure if this is the case with doll love. I have a yoyo

Oh wow, it's great to see so many fans of DollLove's 1/6s! I just bought my first bjd this summer and went with the Yoyo doll, too. I wanted a smallish sized doll since I live in a tiny apartment and don't have a ton of room. I was also trying to stay on the not-so-expensive side. Not only did the DollLoves meet those requirements, but I found them super cute to boot. I really love their playful expressions!

I did a box opening over on my tumblr. And here's a pic I took last week before I trimmed her wig and eyelashes. She came with a little smudge on her nose - I keep forgetting to buy a Magic Erasure - and one of her eyes is cloudy, but I love her to bits. She's so adorable in real life.
