Adorable, adorable! I can tell that she is delighted to be with you! I didn't see her box opening, but I'll go look. I have a difficult time finding things on DOA! So glad she has arrived!

 

Just an FYI for Dollits owners, I started a database for Miso (Dollits Miso -- A Happy Place for Miso Dolls) and I encourage everyone who has Miso to add her to the list. Hopefully it will get even more people to want and buy one!

Hey guys, could be possible to see comparison pics of Dollits girls next to other slim minis? Unoa girls or boys like Model Delf or Soul Kid? Thanks!

Did you want body comparisons? I don't have real-life side-by-side pics but I put together a montage recently for comparison purposes with a lot of slim minis (female). Wanted to check first though before I threw up a giant pic of naked bodies on the thread xD (Are we meant to censor those?)

 

Thanks Momiji. I'd love to see comparison pics, I'm mostly interested next to male slim mini dolls (especially Sould Kids boys and LUTS MDF boys), but females are welcome too! So please post it.

I tried looking at measurements when I scaled them but did a veeery rough job, so I wouldn't use it for a height comparison.

 

How white is the dollits white skin?

I currently have my iplehouse asa on a normal skin body, she fits it really well but her head is quite pale in comparison. I was wondering if she would fit better on a white skin body. Does anyone own iplehouse jid normal skin and dollits white?

I don't have a JID but I have a late-2015 nYID in normal skin. I'm currently waiting on a white skin DKD body that should be shipping soon, and can do a resin comparison if you haven't found an answer by then

I'm hoping the white skin body will match a 2012 Dream of Doll head I have x3

I'm wondering if any Dollits fans have heard anything about a boy in the D.K.D. size. I would love a guy to go with my Miso, and there is a spot on the website in DKD saying "boy" but nothing there as yet. This gives me hope that maybe J.Baek is planning a boy.

 

I would love a guy as well! Not really to go with my Miso, but just because I love her engineering snd I'd love to see what J.Baek would do with a male body. I bet be'd be a great poser!

Also, I got pictures from the faceup artist today! Lacey looks absolutely fantastic, I can't wait to have her back~ I do wish I had ordered her wig a little earlier, since I'm probably gonna have to wait several seeks for it to be made and shipped... But she'll be beautiful even bald!

 

Hey, lovely people. So Dollits Somi has just come onto my radar -- so beautiful. There are pictures of her in tan on her page on the Dollits website (stunning), but tan is not an option on the pull-down menu for skins. Have they discontinued her in tan?

 

@pinkandyellow The tan Miso was offered as a limited order doll and the best I can suggest is that you send a note to J. Baek and maybe he will release them again. This really is a great company.

 

@KiyoshiSenshi I have been checking to see if Lacey had come home yet! So excited to see her. What sort of wig are you having made? I just use wigs from the usual wig companies, so I'm curious.

 

It's one of these in the "Sunset" color! Lacey will be the first doll I've had with long-ish hair, so I'm really excited to see her all put together~

 

Gosh there were some really pretty colors in those wigs! Can't wait to see Lacey in Sunset!

 

I had several wigs that I had bought for a Tonner American Model doll and even though they are a size too large for Lizzy (they are 7/8 instead of 6/7) she can get away with wearing them for a photo. Here's a pink/blond one made by Monique that she tried on!

 

I didn't have to wait nearly as long as I expected

Here's the comparison with my normal skin IH nYID Yur. They're both fairly pale, though the Dollits white skin is still a shade lighter. The difference actually didn't look that bad in the daylight (like in the pics), though I noticed the difference can be more pronounced depending on lighting, namely in our yellow living room lights in the evening, where the IH normal skin appeared darker and yellower.

 

Ah thank you so much for the pictures! I think the white skin will be a better match for my Asa, her face has always looked very pale! Something to add to my wishlist. :P

 

Someone was looking for a Miso in Tan and J. Baek has put her back on the website. She's available. I hope whoever it was sees this!

 

I got Lacey back from the faceup artist and she looks amazing! I'm so happy with my freckly girl~ I just ordered her hair, so hopefully it'll be here in the next couple weeks.

Thank you! I really am suuuper excited for her wig, I think it's gonna look really great~ I wanna get her some eyelashes too, but I've never put lashes in before... We'll see how it goes!

 

Did anyone see what J. Baek posted on facebook? A Miso done as a boy. He put the head on a Volks body. This really makes me want a D.K.D. boy body because I love the Dollits bodies. Here's a link to his flicker photos.

@susieagent99 I love getting to see her in the dark wig. Gotta say that blond one was my fave, but she looks good in this as well. So glad you got another Miso!!

 

Yes, it is company makeup. I just asked if she could have dark eyebrows and makeup as I will have her wearing a dark wig often.

Lacey has got hair! Lots of hair!! Such a fun wig because you could do so many things with it. And I can tell that Lacey is really happy with her new wig!

It doesn't seem like the tan is a too popular option- but by any chance does anyone have a tan D.K.D (or any tan by them) that they could compare to unoa's paradise skin?

 

Just sharing my Lizzy's first snow! Can you tell that she loves it?

 

J. Baek has said he is going to do a D.K.D. male. I would love to have a boy version of my Miso, so I would be very excited about that. Also, of all the bjd dolls that I own or have played with, this body poses the best by far. Would anyone else want a boy doll from Dollits?

Ohhh, a Dollits Official Stalker! I need to photograph my gal. She's starting to feel 'camera deprived".

 

We had a pretty snow and since my Dollits Miso is named Lizzy M. Snow .... it just seemed she needed a photo.


Her wig is from Leekeworld, her eyes are Masterpiece Lousiana Iris, and her sweatshirt was 'borrowed' from a Tonner Harry Potter doll. Borrowed as in 'not giving it back'.

I'll definitely share pictures. My initial hope is that the body color will roughly match another head I'd like to use with the Soohee. (Lillycat Loonette) Her character is a Parisian rabbit shapeshifter. The fit should be fine, so just hoping the match isn't too terrible.

Hi everyone! Please feel free to move or delete this if not allowed or off topic, but I honestly don't know where else to post this. I'm interested in purchasing the Dollits DKD girl body to make a hybrid with my Unoa Lusis FP. I finally managed to scrounge up enough to order the body, but when I went to the Dollits.net website, I was greeted with the following message, originally posted to the website on the seventh of this month:

"Hello!
Dollits released DKD (43) 'Eunsu'.
Eunsu's sales are limited to 20 and 20% off sale.
After that, it will resell from October to November.
And I will give you one more message !!
I am renewal the DKD body.
It will be open with 'Eunsu' resale
DKD renewal body will be discount sold to the customers who purchased the existing DKD girl body.
Thank you for your interest."

does that mean that even though I intend to order the current DKD body, they'll send me the newer version? And if that's the case, is there a way for me to just receive the existing version instead? While I'm certain that the new version of the body will be wonderful, I'm a little nervous about ordering the body right now, because the message doesn't expound on what features are being modified in the new version, and everything on the current sculpt is absolutely perfect for what I need.

Any help would be greatly appreciated (I think I'll also email Dollits). Thanks!

 

@Read It And Weep I think they mean that when Eunsu is released again in October, they will release the new body. Right now Eunsu is limited to a small number of orders but will be available again in October. The new body will also be on discount to anyone who has purchased the old body. So if you order now, you should get the current body. I doubt Dollits would be offering the body before showing pictures and it will probably have it's own separate page.

 

@Read It And Weep I placed an order for Eunsu this week and they confirmed that it would be on the existing body. So I agree with Supernova that you would get the current body if you ordered now.

 

@Supernova @eland Thanks a ton, you two! Yeah, it was a little silly of me to think that they'd just send the new body before posting any pictures and officially releasing it. I just placed the order. I'm so excited! I've been ogling the DKD girl body for some time now, because it's just so adorable and well articulated, and at such a great price point.

@Read It And Weep Not silly at all! You do hear stories about companies swapping things out without notice. It never hurts to ask is my policy. From what I've seen so far though, Dollits seems pretty good about announcing changes.
I'm so excited to get my hands on this body too! I hope the new one is just as good, heck, it might even be better! But I know this body works for what I want, so I thought I'd better get it before it's gone...
