I sanded the inside where the ball meets the side of the socket. The pressure is applied to the thigh when it gets straightened out. For some reason it's not an issue on the other leg.

They were willing to sell me a replacement leg but the problem would just present itself again, so they offered to look into the original problem and send me THAT new leg once it was resculpted.

Hi everyone! I just discovered Doll Clans a moment ago and I immediately fell for the sculpts! I ended up ordering Siber and Dauber, so now I just need to buy another IOS 80 body for them to both share

For those of you who have U line heads with Popo doll body or April Story body, do you use the neck donuts? Or is it not necessary?

@Elvenrose I have Phython head on POPOdoll 68cm body^^ I don't use any neck donut, but the neck isn't perfect. it is okay in front and 3/4, but I use wig to cover back part, the head is overhang there.

Anyone who just pre-order having trouble looking for clothes in the right size? I've looked everywhere for a grey turtleneck to no avail for the S-line body.....

 

@SugarBenki did you search it on Iplehouse? Their EID cloth fits well!

Can anyone tell me what skin tone from Loongsoul matches dollclans? The yellow or the pink? I'm guessing its yellow...More pics of Vezeto on their LS 70cm body would be appreciated too!

@Suindo yes, they posted the teaser on Instagram. Skeleton hands I guess? They made skull head in the past (awesome skull btw!), so I think this release will be related to.

I was looking at Dollclans site and noticed a new body- the Y line body. How long has that been there? I wish they had a side by side comparison to U line. I went ahead and tried to make my own:

I think perhaps the shoulders are not as broad. The abs are more like the s line than u line. Dang I kind of wish they had some sort of body upgrade service...

If my U line leg ever breaks beyond use maybe this would be a good replacement...

 

Hey! Whose getting their orders now from the February pre-order? Just got my boy yay! A little sad though because I ordered him assembled for 15$ and he came disassembled. Also no acrylic stand sobs. I love him though

I finished my payment in early April...mine is the Feb pre-order batch...and still waiting. Yeah I did bought some stuffs for him that goes together in the same order.

I got the heads I ordered sometime in the middle of May, but now I wish I would've ordered some of the accessories to go with them.

 

I actually am wondering if they'd sell us just the legs (IE, they fit the U-Line hips) for those of us it broke on.

I ordered Jacquer head and the S line body for my Vezeto, in the hope to avoid the hassle of hybriding him. but lately I've been eyeing another body for him instead...the Dollclans body aren't very appealing to me actually...it's just that I see it as a safer bet (resin color, neck fit, proportion)

Character...I have a few in mind, but I will confirm it once he's a full doll. Sometimes they end up being a different character than the one I planned for...lol

Shopping was really the fun part of this hobby ^^...and I'm always broke because of this lol...you're right about their size tho, it's quite challenging to find ones that fit. I bought some 70cm size clothes, and some idealians / EID size...Hope they fit alright...

How about you? Who did you get and what are your plans for him?

 

I have an IOS 80 body that I'll have them share, along with a head stand for whichever head is not in use.

 

I got Rynx! His smirk was what sold me. I have a character planned but I change alot too so idk. I agree with you on the body issue though, i'm not a fan and hopefully one day we'll find that perfect body <<.
I went with EID size too! Surely he'll look great when he arrives! I can't wait to see people posting pictures!

The IOS 80 body does look very nice! You should definitely post pics sometime!

Well I just assembled him and Jesus Christ he is massive. He's got that yaoi anatomy my dudes. The pants I TAILORED TO HIS SIZE doesn't fit. Gotta resize it now sobs. But he is gorgeous sobs.
Also for some reason they really rushed my order because they forgot to cut the thin resin blocking his neck hole. Not a huge problem though.

 

@SugarBenki so sad! I hate when stuff I make doesn't fit. Sad to hear that dollclans is rushing things and skipping steps.

 

Sorry for random annoying question but I was thinking of getting a soom ID72 body for rynx. Does anyone have comparisons for the resin colors?? >~<

 

@SugarBenki I have the comparison pictures on my blog for Doll clans (2013) and Soom (2015). Doll Clan's NS has more yellow undertone while Soom's NS has pink undertone.

I was also going to ask if anyone knew what their order periods were like? They used to do them monthly but it doesn't seem like thats the case anymore. I sold my Phython head a while back and im regretting it T_T need a new one...

 

U-line leg problem!

Got my reply:
The Y and U lines are made by different artists, so hybriding is not an option. HOWEVER they are in fact working on fixing the U-line knee problem and are prototyping as we speak. Patience is key, maybe around the end of the year (3-4 months).

she has strong features and a quirky expression with that underbite. but, her head looks a bit large on that body.
makes me wonder what other bods she might fit.

Oooo she pretty. I wonder if she'll be more around a U line or S line height. Her head does appear a bit large, but that wig sure is not helping.

 

I do believe she is a U-line. Hopefully they will have a full picture of the body soon.

Oh, and he is. I hadn't seen such an appealing smirking expression on a doll before laying eyes on him. Just the right kind of smug for my tastes!

 

I took a wild chance on some weird elf ears for BJD from eBay seller mybayer (says brand wamami) and they are so fun! I didn't expect them to be rubber but they are soft and just slide over Kyo's ears. So cute! Wish they came in a yellow skin tone but maybe I can add green to the tips to make them more fantasy and less obviously unmatched. Everyone is an Elf
