    8. I've been playing with the idea of bringing along one of my minis but I feel like my SD and tiny will be enough for me to try to handle along with cosplay and stuff. Hm... maybe I'll bring my Minifee El and make it an all boys outing. I guess we'll see how well the minis behave this week.

    14. An update has been made to the Doll North Meet up - we have a confirmed location.

      Charity Raffle tickets will be on sale at all doll north events, the winner will be drawn at the meet before 2pm. The location is Harry's Patio and the grassy areas near by, located by the West Parking Lot of the Doubletree Hotel.

    15. Had to think for a while, but I think I'm bringing my Angelheim Kozy Racoon and my Luts kid Hodoo. We'll see how things go. I don't really plan on carrying them the entire con what with cosplay and purchases and such. I'll at least have them Sunday though.

    19. Wah! I want to go to the outdoor meet so bad ;~; Except I'll be leaving the con at 1pm Sunday. I'll see if I can stretch a little bit and come by for a few minutes! But I'll most definitely be at the Market and maybe the show. So excited!

    21. This is a brief thank you to every one that attended Doll North, the vendors that contributed to Doll Marketplace, all of those who had a hand in organizing and helping out at the Doll North events, and the many volunteers, and odd hands that stepped up to help at various times.

      All of you made this year's Doll North a huge success! I hope every one had lots of fun and is exciting to come out again next year :)

      There will be more thanks to come, and a gallery thread started shortly, and a feedback survey in the coming days.

      I'm sure plans for next years event will be started once we give the AN team a little break to catch up on their lives before we jump back into planning for next year.

      "I can't thank you guys enough for keeping Doll North alive this year. It was one of the highlights of my weekend. The marketplace was amazing. I bought so much stuff for my boy! The meet was fun too! It was so nice to meet everyone and see all of the gorgeous dolls. Everyone was so nice! You guys are a great bunch. Thanks for making Lyle and I feel so welcomed. I hope to make it out to more meets in the future. I'll post my pics in the next couple of days. Thanks again, everyone!"

    27. I wish to Thank the volunteers and everyone who helped out at the doll show. Sabrina should get a pat on the back for all her hard work. She did a great job in getting market place and meet together. Thank you Sabrina. I wish to Thank my Judges Joy, Avalonafallis and Norths_Fallen_Angel for judging this year. I really couldn't have done this with out them. Joy did an amazing job as our Best in Show judge. Thank you all so much for Judging for me. I also wish to Thank Sirius53black who helped so much with me to set up the Doll show and help with take done at the end.
      I will as soon as I can get all the pictures and placing up from the Doll North Doll Show. There alot of pictures to go through. So hopefully in the next few days I will have the Doll North Doll show results and I will post them on the gallery thread.

    31. Yay! The doll market was amazing, and the doll show had some gorgeous dollies! I bought my boy some new shoes, goggles, sweater, and some hairclips! Oh and a hat / scarf set! He got a little spoiled. Thanks to everyone who was selling stuff and who I bought from x) because Hayden is happy with his new stuff~
      And a forum for BJD owners in the Barrie Area, House of Shadow and Light, we had a little mini-meet and brought a bunch of our dollies! It was so fun and I got to actually handle an SD for once (I'm a new doll owner and all I've held is MSD xD)! It was a great experience to finally meet the people I've been talking to for a while online!
      Can't wait for next year o_o!

      You can help make the con better by providing us with any feedback you have on Anime North 2011. Just email [email protected] to let us know any ways you think the con could be made better or any problems you experienced this year. And if you though everything went just fine, let us know that as well!

      So please, pass on your feedback and suggestions to the anime north staff. Let them know what you loved about Doll North, that you want to see it bigger and better then ever before next year (multiple official BJD dealers, anyone? I think this was our biggest request this year, and I for one would like to see our Doll Marketplace in it's own space and available all weekend.)

      I will also be sending out an anonymous survey soon to the emails we collected at the BJD meet for input on changes to Doll North, I may not get to see most of the responses that are sent directly to Anime North, so I want to make sure every one gets a chance to send me their thoughts. :)
