Bottom to top, Normal yellow, Normal pink, White, jointed and Tan, jointed (new french resin)

Doll Legend are my absolutely fav company for jointed hands now. About a week ago I placed an order for a set of their long nailed hands because the second I saw them I knew I had to own those hands. lol I can't wait until it's time to receive them. I ordered through Alice Collections, but how long is DL's normal production time? Does anyone know? I couldn't for the life of me find it anywhere on AC so I have no idea of even a rough estimate as to when they may be made and shipped off to AC and then shipped to me.

But I seriously can't wait to own them, of course I ordered them the day before their christmas promotion started so I didn't get the sale price. Curses foiled again! But with how much love I have for those hands, I really don't mind too much. XD

 

You know I am so out of it right now, I totally forgot to check that place. Doh! Anywho, thanks for that, I will look into it. I hope one day I can own a DL body as well, those bodies are some really gorgeous ones. I really quite want that 58cm girl body and the boy bodies as well. They are so beautiful. And they have some beautiful doll heads too. So many things I want! XD

 

It's right at 2 months for the two sets of jointed hands that I got. They are beautiful and so pose-able not too kicky like other jointed hands.

 

That's really great to know SteamWitch, thanks! I'm glad they are good jointed hands, in terms of aesthetics they are the most beautiful ones I've seen and I am so glad they are well made too. I'm so excited to get these, I hope the blushing lives up to the pics, because I think they did a fantastic job on making them look real and gorgeous. XD

 

It was 2 months exactly when I got my 70cm body and jointed hands.

The hands are amazing, but really long fingers! That's good, but I have to make gloves because I can't find any big enough!

 

does anybody got a doll from doll legend in normal pink yet? and could show me pics? i wonder if it fits fairyland normal skin

 

@greeneyed-soul I have posted four of their resin colors but I don't have a Fairyland so I couldn't tell you if it matches. There are the four colors in Post 61 but in Post 21 there are other company resins to compare. I hope that helps a little.

Just got my Doll Legend Chimera - very impressed with the sculpt and the quality. Its one of my best, if not the best I have.

 

Hi! Has anyone tried the 1/3 sized hands with a CP delf boy? I'm wanting to buy some for my boys. They're beauty white, a bit yellowed, so I'm thinking maybe the white and I'd blush to match, or the normal yellow? I can figure out the resin but I'm really curious if anyone knows anything about the size?

 

Hi! Has anybody tried Doll Legend 1/4 sized hands or 1/3 female sized hands on Souldoll Vito body (NS)?

Cannot choose between Doll Legend and Dika doll variants.
Aesthetically Doll Legend hands are mode beautiful (imho) but I'm afraid they may be to small.
Doll Family-h hands have non-ideal construction and wiring can be rather difficult.
IS (Illusion Spirit) 1/4 hands fit but the out of stock everywhere.

Does anyone have comparison shots of Doll-Zone's and Doll Legend's normal pink resin? I have a Doll-Zone Annie in normal pink and I want to hybrid her with a DL's body because they are so lovely but I don't know how well the resin matches..

 

@Elysion gear: Oh no! Do you think you could exchange it?

 

I think their resin colours must be very variable.

My normal yellow is a really yellow colour, nothing like the hands you had from them, and I've seen pics in another thread of a normal pink that is a really bright pink.

I hope you can get it sorted and get the colour you want.

 

Hello everyone! I'm looking for jointed hands for my Dollstown body and heard that doll legend white skin matches with Dollstown pale, can anyone verify that?

 

Not Dollstown, but I know it works well with Island Doll and Dollshe pale. If you or someone knows references to them and Dollstown that might help.

 

I don't know if this might be useful to anyone, but I was asking Alice's Collections about resin colours and she says that Doll Legend and Doll Family-H are the same resin. Might help as a reference?

 

I ordered the in stock Weixi head from Jeeryama, now I have to wait for him to take the slow 'free shipping' route to me.

 

He arrived and is just as pouty as I thought he would be. Now to figure out his faceup.

Here is Roger Dennis, my Weixi, and as expected he is a pouty boy. I love his freckles they are subtle but came out so well.

Blushed the translucent tan hands and a little blush on Ash's wrist (Ringdoll tan) and it's all good. I even did a bit of blue vein blushing while I was at it though it doesn't show up in the photos you can see it irl.

Can anyone tell me if either Doll Legend's Normal Yellow or Normal Pink is a close match for Crobidoll's NS? I'm looking for jointed hands for a B line boy & I've heard Dikadoll's Normal Yellow hands Crobi used to sell weren't that good a match so trying to look at alternatives.

 

Might be a totally long shot here but has anyone gotten one of their 70cm dolls? I got Azazel ordered from Alice's collection and I was wondering what their proportions are like in relation to other 70cm dolls

 

I have an 2009 Crobi NS body and new DL hands so it wouldn't help. Sorry.

Hey guys, my Luna finally arrived today!
Her face up is just amazing, the only problem I have is her wig wasn't as high quality as I hoped, but I will easily buy her a new one :3
Also love the fact they sent me two eyes to pick from, so I went with one of both

 

I've got their 70cm body. It's big. I get SSDF size clothes for it.

 

He arrived today and my god he is HUGE I also got my son's You Shang and she's so smallish and the practice head is tiny but it works Face up time now

 

Woo face up! I would love to try my hand at face ups but it just looks waaaaaaaay to difficult for me LOL

 

I have MSC UV cut, pastels, watercolour pencils and a big old tin of pure acetone :P I also have the proper respirator mask and goggles because I want to get into doing faceups because there aren't a lot of aussies that do them

 

Yeah there really isn't any Aussie's who do face ups. I was looking for someone to do a face up and body blushing on my little Jax and I couldn't find anyone

 

The sculpt is so manly even though the promo pics made him look quite girly

Ah I finally found this thread haha.
I was looking into getting one of the 58cm girl bodies... How is the posing? Are the joints very sturdy or do they slip out of place when trying to make the pose hold?

 

The posing is good but they do come strung loose. The body has a habit of falling forward a lot at the waist and her legs kick sometimes, her arms are also a pain to stay up now. But all that can be fixed with restringing the doll. Other then that they are beautiful bodies and well made.

 

oooh just discovered this company as Alice's has a discount offer going at the moment - I spend a lot of time on Alices but never looked at them before! They are gorgeous!

 

They really are stunning dolls and amazing for their price. I have found she's a beautiful starter doll, though sometimes hard to find clothes to fit. And even though meg is loosely strung, she still stands well for photos

 

she's really lovely - so much for downsizing my wishlist now Definitely a company which needs more love

Yeah they really are! And they are really well priced. Especially their jointed hands. I've just ordered a pair for Meg so I'm super excited to get them and her head back from getting a different faceup
