Doll Leaves Waiting Room v3

Oh man. Back in February, I placed an order through Angelesque for a Model M on the girl body, with the free faceup offer. They sent her in May, but without a faceup. Angelesque sent the head back. Now the company has sent another, with the faceup - but in white skin when I ordered pink. To think that when I ordered I was all "ahh, DL are really fast, I'll have her before summer"! Maybe she can be my birthday present to myself in November... this wait is killing me now. XD

My Gabriel and ws body body have been shipped, I have ordered them on the 29th of july at Alice's collection.

 

No word on when the Lilith I ordered back in APRIL will ship. So tired of waiting...

 

I'm waiting on my DS Amara with boy body along with the event head that I got. I'm pretty anxious about it, but because of starting college again, that's slowly taking my mind off of it. I just can't wait to get a notification about its arrival.

I'm waiting on my first dolls and it's quite a bit. For the summer event I ordered (M)Maya and (G)Gabriel (small bust!) with free face ups as well as two free heads of (W)Wish and (F)Flora. I ordered them on August 30th and feel like I'm losing my mind! I'm super excited but completely anxious for them to get here.

 

Woah! Half a year? I think I'd be frothing at the mouth by that point...

Still no update from DDE. And the website doesn't give me any estimations on how long it takes them to get a doll out. :c

 

Placed a order for the new Doll Leaves 70cm Asa in gray skin as my late xmas gift! Can't wait, new doll for the new year!

 

Ordered a M-Maya on Sunday from Alice's Collections. I just hope I did it right... this will be my first doll.

 

My Maya shipped out last Thursday and I'm dying from the wait already. Wondering how long it takes to get from China to the US...

I placed an order for Evan in normal skin with both sets of ears (elf & human), plus the event doll Alex on March 3rd through moc. Three month layaway, one down, two to go...

 

I'm waiting for a Maya! I got her in normal skin with a small bust, along with an Alex event doll. I still have three more payments to make to DDE, so I guess I'm getting her around June which is cool since that's my birth month, but it sucks because it's so far away....

I am going to join in here. I just bought a Doll leaves boy body. From Denver Doll. My sister is buying a head for him. It's her gift to me. So I'm going to sit here and wait for them.

LOL Kimono311! It's been about one month for me as well.

I went and counted all the business days up to 60 (two months) from the date my order was placed, and it comes out to June 12. So that means if it takes more than two months, my doll will be coming in July/August. Man, that is still quite a wait....sigh...

 

Payed off my December layaway early so my 70cm Asa could be shipped out from MoC! He arrived on the 21st! Good luck everyone on speedy arrivals!

 

Hi everyone! I just ordered Ethan from jeeryama about an hour ago. I have never done this before so I really hope I got everything right. I've wanted a BJD for about 4 years now and I know these next few months are going to be the worst part of the wait. I was going to order directly from the site but I got nervous because it was all done through E-mail which I have horrible luck with. For some reason my E-mails always get lost. Anyway, I am so so excited, I already have his estimated arrival date on my calender June 25th. It's going to kill me when the wig and eyes I ordered for him show up before he does. ahhh

I ordered a Lilith head a few weeks ago but with kids, sewing and horses(just had a mini horse foal born on thrusday) I just haven't had time to post here. I have a body for her head its a island body and I'm looking at making her into another camper here at our camp. My dolls are based off Percy Jackson book series and our RPG group.

Wow just got my shipping notices today on my head. It shipped faster then I thought it would. I'm going to have to find a name for her and I'm hoping my friend when she visit me in May will give her a face up. Hoping to take her to Doll north with me at the end of May.

the bailey head is for one of my friends. the flora is for my character Reign and im hoping to hybrid her with a withdoll body. the fay is my imp girl Hydrangea and i wanted to put her on the doll chateau wanda body.

Ahhh oh my gosh, I could never to layaway. I'm way too antsy, that takes a lot of patience. What are you doing while you wait? I've been making hats....

 

Toodles -Making hats is a great way to while away the wait time!

I have a picture of Evan, so each day I look at it and get excited all over again (and think...someday....soon). Other than that, I try to keep myself busy with other things. I also have his clothes set out -mostly to keep them from getting wrinkled, but seeing them makes me happy. I hate waiting, but am getting better at it, sigh. Plus getting another bjd who is on the wish list, that is secondhand, and needs restorative work has helped. I've been focusing on getting her fixed up, so I've been happily distracted.

 

That's really cute! I should print out a picture too! That's a great idea. It's cool that you have another that needs some special love and care, I'm sure that really helps.

I ordered from Mint On Card, and their site says it can take 60-70 business days -not counting weekends or Chinese Holidays. My official two month date is June 12th. Not too much longer, fingers crossed!

 

Ethan showed up on June first! I couldn't get him until today tho because the office (I live in appartment buildings) was closed every time I went to get him I felt so bad leaving him there all alone. So glad he is home now!!! AHHH

THank you so much, Kurogane! It was very frustrating I got a little upset the second day I couldn't get him. They had meetings all day long. One time I showed up right as their previous meeting was supposed to end and one of the employees walked up, saw me standing there, replaced the "be back in" sign for a time that was 3 hours later and left! Rude!

also oh my gosh they totally do look similar, don't they? I wasn't even trying for that hehe

I'm waiting for Pepper and Lili and the event doll, Bella. I ordered from DDE. They said it would be about 14 weeks, so I expect to get them sometime in the middle of August.

Ah, 14 weeks...well, I've started week #11, so that means end of June first part of July....


I got an email today from MOC, my doll is there, and will be shipped to me in a couple days! He's almost home!
