Doll Leaves Waiting Room v3

Do you think the tan color will be like the aspen tan color that they offered before? I'm really tempted, because I like tan dolls and I adore the Pearl sculpt!

 

I don't know, but that sounds pretty. I don't remember the aspen tan color. Do you have any pictures?

Edited to add: Oh found them! There is a BJD Collectasy post from 2018 with pictures. As far as I can tell from the photos the new color is a more muted tan with a less intense warm/copper tone.

 

And my Lan has a tracking number! Yay!

 

Looks pretty different to me. Imo the Aspen was more like their recent wheat resin

 

I'm so jelly! I ordered mine in january too... but haven't heard anything from Alice's yet

If my other experiences with AC shipping are any guide; it goes weeks / months or so of waiting on the doll maker to make and ship the doll, and once it reaches Alice's it's pretty quick -for international shipping- from there. Hope everything lines up and all the January dolls will be shipped out soon.

 

same boat! I'm waiting for an update on the Lan fullset I ordered from AC at the end of January, though I still have 1 more layaway payment to make at the end of this month. I got express shipping from AC so once it actually gets to them it should be fast getting to me. I just hope I'll get her in time for my birthday in June, since she's kind of intended to be a present to myself lol

 

I ordered mine as a Birthday present to myself too!
From what acbjd told me it takes up to 5-6 month for Doll Leaves to ship. But there is still hope, when people already get their tracking number.

 

Today I Learned: When shipping company 1 hands off a package to shipping company 2, shipping company 1 may stop updating tracking info because their work here is done. But! shipping company 2 may keep the same tracking number for your package.

 

Well, I never got a notice that they had shipped, but I suddenly got my MSDs today! I did speak with Doll Leaves via email maybe 2-3 weeks ago asking for a status update and they said they were packed and ready to ship. I am so stoked guys! Apparently it's gonna rain the next 2 days, but the humidity tonight is all right, so here I am spraying sealant after dark lol. Trying Tamiya for the first time after not being able to get a hold of Testor's Dullcote anywhere. What's up with that, did they discontinue? It was my favorite non-MSC.

I ordered my nude Lan and Teresa from ACBJD on 26. January and received them 24. April (four days ago) . They traveled about 2 weeks to get to Germany.
They are absolutely gorgeous!

 

I ordered a week before you (nude Lan and Pearl) but no word from acbjd yet. Should I shot them an email?
I know it can take time but I'm too impatient. Especially when others got their dolls already

Did you have to pay customs? Thats what I'm afraid of... german custom fees

Probably they already sent your dolls and just forgot to notify you.
I totally understand this fear! German customs are really high!
But no customs for packages from ACBJD .

So I got an answer from acbjd.

Both dolls are ready to be shipped for a couple of weeks now but they were waiting for a wig I ordered with them

So we moved the wig to my other order and they'll ship my girls this week

My Pearl arrived today ! (link) (has no shirt or name yet!) I love her ;_; It'll be quite a while till I can get a Lan and Teresa, but now my worries about the body are gone.

 

Layaway on my Lan fullset is officially all paid off! Now to wait for that shipping notice...

 

My Lan from January has arrived Whoot! ...And now I have a blank Pearl in tan on layaway. This waiting room is my home now.

Mine was from January too! I hope she's ready soon.... Alice's Collections said it was a 5-month wait so I'm hoping by the end of this month she'll be on her way to me.

Got my tracking number today and it says they'll arrive this friday already!
They send them with Fedex. I really thought with acbjds free shipping it would take way longer

 

oh wow nice! Though if they're shipping with fedex...... be prepared for a hefty invoice in the mail for customs/tax/other courier fees that fedex likes to slap you with after delivery. I just got a secondhand doll delivered through fedex whos value was roughly $600 and I had to pay $154 in fees, not fun

Hello fellow person who has ordered a pearl from AC! I ordered a blank Lan in Late January and she arrived late last month, so around three months total. If you got a faceup or full set it will probably be longer.

 

I’m glad all of you are getting shipping notices, even if I am a little jealous since i ordered end of October, but through Clover-Singing, and still haven’t gotten one. Then again, I did order an SD, seems like most order the MSDs

 

Ah, yes i got her blank. 3 months isn't bad. Ive only bought 1 doll new before my loong soul nuannuan from alice collections. That took 6months and was rough...
I normally get my dolls second hand.... And now i have 3 on waiting new from the companies right now lol. Soom, doll leaves, and fairyland @.@ most dolls i bought in 1 year...
Hopefully its not too long a wait. I can't wait to see other people's pearls also.
I would love to see what faceups people give her. I havent even seen many normal pearls...

 

I think because of the new years event a lot of people bought them in january and DL did some big batches. My Pearl and Lan are arriving tomorrow.
acbjd told me via email back in february Doll Leaves normally takes 5-6 months. So I was surprised they were done already.

Might be a good idea to send an email to new clover singing asking for an update. I have a doll on order with them and when I had a problem they got back to me within 24 hours and fixed the problem very quickly. Hope you get more info and things work out!

 

I have sent her an email about 3 weeks ago, she said that the October orders had just started to ship and that mine should ship in the next month. I might message her again, I just want him home!

does anyone know how long it typically takes for acbjd's EMS shipping to canada? I got my shipping notice on friday, so I assume it will be at least 2-3 more weeks? the tracking updated with "airline recieves it" yesterday. I'm just so curious and excited for my first resin bjd's arrival.

 

I finally got my shipping notice today, though my post app picked up the tracking number a few days ago. So Topaz, my Evan is finally coming home!

my Lan came today!! I was so excited and her face-up is so stunning, but I was dismayed to find that her ring finger on her right hand was broken off, and I couldn't find the finger anywhere in the packaging. what should I do? I sent an email telling Alice's Collections what happened and included photos, but I'm not sure what they can do about it

 

Congrats on her arrival! And Alice will be able to get replacement hands for you from Doll Leaves, you may have to wait a bit, but that’s what they’ve done for me too before with a different doll company.

 

Oh dear, sadly that happens sometimes. Hands are fragile. They should be able to send you a replacement hand.

Well I get to continue to wait in here. My Evan shipped on May 19th, and hasn’t had an update since May 20th being handed over to the forwarding agent for transit to Austria. The dealer isn’t being much help, so I’ve lost hope of ever getting him. I waited 7 months for him to ship, and now he is more than likely lost. I;be asked the dealer to start an investigation, but they haven’t yet.

That's frustrating. Yeah, everything coming from most major ports across Asia is getting held up by shipping congestion right now. It's bad. There are business news articles about ships sitting in dock for up to a month. Hope it starts to clear up soon. Glad the company is working to get the replacement to you : )

Good news, after my package went MIA for 46 days, it finally arrived in Austria on day 47 and made it through customs in under an hour. Tomorrow I will call to find out how much I need to pay for ransom!

He arrived safe and sound yesterday, though I received the wrong jointed hands. Either way, his box opening is here

I can almost leave the waiting room, once the right jointed hands are made, shipped, and in my hands I can bow out of here!

 

Got shipping from alice collections. My tan Pearl is on her way.
I have EMS shipping, don't know how long will take. She's on her way to international customs in China right now looks like.

Can't wait to get her and customize her.
