yes! the prices are very affordable, and they have lot of events with free gifts.

yes.

Absolutely!

the body poses very nicely and the resin is smooth.
The heads are non-symmetric and the details are a bit more rough than in the bodies, but it is not totally negative... symmetrical hand-sculpted faces are beautiful too.

Lets face it - DS have cheap dolls. Personally I don't get why RS gets so much flack as being the worst/cheapest BJD company when in my opinion DS is worse. The body isn't the prettiest, and the torso is strange to pose. Her face in my opinion needs work. I fell for her smaller eyes (unusual for a bjd).
You get what you pay for, my Sisley is charming and I love her ears but she's nothing much compared to my DIM girls.
But they have potential with the right owner who can put the work into them.

Yes, but the photos were taken from so few angles I hadn't realised just how strangely miniscule and pointy her nose was.
The face-up I received was a lot more pink.
* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes, the quality is probably slightly better than what you pay for. She came in a nice box with a white cushion and free little socks.

Positive
- She stands sturdily.
Negative
- A piece inside the torso is glued down inside the abdomen, mines dislodged and now her chest piece snaps around. I'm going to have to glue it back.

Awesome first doll, I have nothing to compare her too other then Mirodoll, and she's soooo much higher quality. I can't find any flaws in her other then she was super tightly strung, but thats just something I need to fix I think she poses very well, and stands really easily.

Puppet-02 was definitely more expensive than Doll Leaves' other MSD sized dolls, but it's totally understandable since she's a limited edition. She also came with a free Arwen, since Doll Leaves was having an event at that time.

I actually like her a lot. Her and Arwen's face up are exquisite and I actually like the joint system. The only problem was that she came a little cross-eyed, but it was nothing a little tweaking with the eye positioning couldn't fix

What did you order?
Doll Leaves 58cm Female jointed hands in white resin

When did you order?
I ordered via Angelesque in May; I placed my order with Carol on the 14th, the main order was placed on the 29th. I received them today, the 21st August.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
I believe so. They are very well sculpted and pose nicely even without wiring, and the colour match is perfect with Alena's Dollzone white resin.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, except I bought blank hands and the sales pictures are painted!

Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes!

Lovely smooth resin (and perfect match as I already mentioned!) and really easy to install. They pose nicely, though I am considering wiring them, as the fingers are a little kicky when trying to pose them individually. They come already strung together, and they feel nice and solid - they do look a little strange to me at first because they are larger overall than the default dollzone hands she came with, but they look natural enough and I really love the long nail sculpt. Very pleased!

* Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional) Positives: The body is very poseable and stands like a rock right out of the box, the company faceup is very nice, the grey skin has a slight greenish tone to it which I like, but others might be put off by it, seams are all sanded with minimal marks. A pair of good quality glass eyes were included. The free event doll is sturdy feeling and also poses nicely. Negatives: Lilith is very light weight compared to my other slim minis and her resin is very slick feeling. I personally prefer heftier resin with more tooth. Her double joints gap quite a bit and are not aesthetically pleasing to me.

* Would you buy more from this company? Not another whole doll unless it was in a special skin tone. I dislike the joints. I might consider getting a head & making a hybrid.

Yes. Very pleased with the quality & price, the shipping was also very reasonable.

Better actually. The company photos of the body don't really show off how good it looks and the company face up for the head looks a bit.... odd.
I didn't need the head so I asked for the one they showed with the photos of the body. He is really very nice looking in person.

I can't really say for sure, this is my first purchase of a BJD. However, given that everywhere else I see MSDs go for $300 and up, the $160 feels like a steal!

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
The sales pictures for Dora had a face up that did not appeal to me at all. In fact, I found it sort of ugly... I looked up the sculpt online and found some really nice faceups though, so I got her blank. The Arwen doll looks like the pictures, but I swear I did not notice the tiny little teeth in his mouth on the pictures! (But they're adorable anyway)

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Indeed I am.

* Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional)
Positive:
-smooth skin on all parts
-I like the face sculpts much better in person
-the head comes with eyes and putty! (Is that normal? I knew it came with eyes, but I was kicking myself in the butt because I forgot to buy eye putty.)
-all the skin is the same color
-it came in a shiny pillow thing, no scratches!

Negatives:
-arwens legs are really tight, so it's stuck in a sitting position.
-Dora's whole body seems too tight
-neither of mine stand on their own. (I got Dora to for about ten seconds, but she face planted and I was glad she was on carpet)
-Arwens fingers and toes are a little odd, like the dips between his fingers were sanded down in a rush.

* Would you buy more from this company?
Totally. Its very well priced, and far as I can tell, the dolls are fairly good quality. As a doll newbie, though, I don't know how to really fix my problems. I'm afraid if I restring either of them I'll just mess them up more... That and I don't just magically have extra elastic laying around.

Bailey cannot stand (or maybe I am trying to get her to do it in the wrong way). Bailey has very cartoonish proportions (she has a big head and her hands feel big), but I really like it. Getting her head off is a pain, though, but that can be fixed. Arwen stands beautifully, though she is a little kicky.

I ordered a Doll Leaves 1/3 size Doris through Denver Doll Emporium. I ordered the white skin version.
When did you order?
I placed the order during an event, on March 20th. She arrived on June 16th

Yes. She is quite spectacular. The face up is really perfect.
Did the Item look like the sales pictures?
Yes...she looks almost exactly like the pictures. I was impressed.

Tell us some positives and negatives about this product:
She stands on her own pretty easily and her eyes and face really "pop" on camera. I have her in my office, just out of her box, and people just stop in to see her because they are so struck by her.
I also got a free tiny "Alex" as part of the event and she is quite cute as well but I have not done her face yet. The joints on Doris are a little tight..she pops in and out of her poses which I find a little annoying but I probably just need to do some work on her. I also ordered the jointed hands which are quite amazing. I ordered the "face up" (hand-up?) on the hands too but they forgot that so DDE is sending them back for me.
Would you buy more from this company:
Yes, I really like their sculpts.

I ordered 1/3 scale Evan in normal skin through MOC with the extra elf ears, and no face up. He also came with the event doll Alex -also blank in ns.
When Did You Order?

Was the Quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes! The face is even better looking in person (even blank). The body is very stable & a heavy resin with sanded seams. I love the fact Evan can change out human and elf ears.
Did the Item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, Evan looks mild and reserved in RL as in the company pics.
Were you satisfied with the product?
Very much!
Tell us some positives and negatives about this product.
I love the fact I can change out his ears without having to remove his head cap. Mine seem to have strong magnets, so no falling off unexpectedly. Evan is strung really tight and I had difficulty removing his head. Maybe this is because I'm not used to SD yet. But it was really hard! My only 'issue' is his hands are bigger than what I prefer -but well sculpted. Evan was well worth the $ I spent! The event doll Alex is just so cute! All positive there!
Would you buy more from this company?
Yep -I bought a Noir event head secondhand and was planning on getting him a DL body. Definitely would have, but the resin match between 2013 and 2015 is totally different. I still would love to get another bjd from them though.

Doll Leaves Amara 1/4 scale normal skin with face up

* When did you order?
I ordered through acbjd, around july 7. There was a free face up event. The doll took around one month to make and was shipped at the end of july. Shipping was fast

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Definitely! She has no seamlines, she feels really smooth as well. I didn't have to restring her or anything, she stands pretty well and poses great! Also, her face up is amazing.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Definitely, though my impression is that she is much more beautiful irl than her promo shots.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Absolutely!

Positive: amazing default face up, the body is really poseable and well made. I like how long her legs seem.
Negative: the only negative thing is her lashes were weakly glued and tended to detach themselves. Fixed it myself with a bit of glue, and it is a really minor thing, i wasn't really bothered.

* Would you buy more from this company?
Definitely yes. There are a few sculpts of them that i really like, like 1/3 Daniel, and while i'm settled on other dolls, if i had the opportunity, i would order from them again. I was really satisfied by my experience with them!

22nd January 2016 - as it was an in-stock Item at Alice's Collections (but the order also contained non-in stock-items), he reached here on 1st February 2016

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Absolutely! He was my first doll (not the first I ordered, but the first to reach), so I had nothing to compare him to at the time and I was stunned by how smooth his resin was. There were no seam lines either and he was fully intact. He came strung very well (neither too tight, nor too lose) and holds most poses very well. The original price was $150 and to my mind that is absolutely a steal, they could easily charge more for these!

Absolutely - I'd say better actually!

Very much so!

Positives

1. Stands like a rock, right out of the box
2. Can hold a variety of poses without sueding
3. I love the elbows and knees!
4. Beautiful face-sculpt, not overly detailed, but very charming
5. Very smooth resin and no seam lines

Negatives

1. His fingers have ascending length from outside to inside, i.e. the middle finger is not the longest finger, but the index finger is. It is not a big deal, but did bother me a bit
2. His hands and feet are not overly detailed, they look cute, but compared to a Dollzone body for instance, there is room for improvement :]

No. I was also VERY unhappy with their extreme lack of communication - they ignored my messages 9 times out of ten.

Yes. She's strung perfectly, and able to hold most of the poses straight out of the box. The wig and face-up are also beautifully done, and the resin is a beautiful color and so smooth

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
She looked almost exactly like her sales picture, but better. The only thing off were her eyes, but I knew that would be the case, and her wig, which is slightly darker than the images show
The images did not showcase her visible teeth or the profile of her nose though, which I find to be her most beautiful facial features.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes. She's gorgeously made, her face-up is subtle but beautiful, and you can tell how much work was put into her to make sure that she was high quality. Going through Denver Doll, I'm also super happy with her packaging. She got here so safely, without a single mark on her or her box

What did you order?

When did you order?
I switched my order to a Maya on 12/02/2016 because of issues that the original order had.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
The quality is great for the price! The faceup is beautiful, there are no visible seam lines, and it's strung perfectly.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
It looks even better than the pictures they have on their website.

Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional)
Positives: The double jointing has a piece that mimics an elbow and knee cap instead of just the thigh and shin connecting. This makes the joints look less awkward when bending these joints. The doll's finish is excellent with no visible seam lines. When I hear about expensive dolls having very obvious seam lines, I'm even more impressed when cheaper dolls don't have any. I also love the detailing of the nails. If I wanted to, I could easily paint on polish without having to guess at the nail shape.

Negatives: The part where the head cap closes is not completely smooth. What I mean is that the edges are curved instead of sharp so that when the head is on, there is a slight dip in. I guess this makes it easier to take off the head cap, but I think it was unnecessary. Another negative is that the eyelashes are glued in a way that they point down and cover the eyes. I don't know if this is how other dolls have their lashes since this is my only doll with them.

Would you buy more from this company?
Yes! Doll-Leaves offers beautiful dolls for a very good price!

Most definitely. She is such a gorgeous doll, and everything about her feels like such high quality.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
I purchased the new Teenage Dream body and it actually looks much nicer in person than it did online!

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Absolutely.

Her joints are so ridiculously easy to use, the joints don't catch at all and you don't have to pull them out of place to get them to bend. Her resin is smooth and heavy (and matte, which I like) and there are absolutely no seam lines to be found on her AT ALL. Her feet and hands are very pretty and overall she feels like a very high quality doll, without my having to spend a fortune on her.

The only negative I have in regard to her is the extra joint at the top of the thigh; it seems a little pointless to me. Because the joint is curved and not straight around, attempting to twist the joint doesn't do much, as the leg wants to slide back into place. I'm not sure if I have her strung too tight or not tight enough maybe (I'm still a newbie, I have NO IDEA what I'm doing yet), but it just seems totally pointless to have an extra joint that does nothing.

* Would you buy more from this company?
Definitely! Although there aren't a lot of other sculpts I want right now, I'll be keeping an eye on what they release in future without a doubt.

- Yes for the doll, NO for the wig

- The face-up is similar to the picture. The wig is the same-ish color, but nothing like the picture and very poor quality

- Initially I wasn't, but after new eyes, wig, and some clothes I am very happy and she is one of my favorite dolls.

- Positives: She is very pretty, stands well, has a wonderful pear body type, and MSD and slim MSD clothes sit well on her.
- Negatives: Her hands are a little weird looking, and the wig is terrible.

Yes I knew what I was getting for the price. I think it's a good first doll

Of course since it's tinted resin you can really tell where the seams were sanded down but that's to be expected from what I understand. Also it comes way too tightly strung and the knot was too tight to undo even with wire pliers.

Much better than expected, actually! The resin is super smooth with no seams and I love the detail of the body!

Mostly, yes. There are a few problems with it (the body is strung so tightly I can't even lift the S-hook enough to put my doll's head on it and he doesn't seem to be able to stand no matter what), but other than that, I'm very satisfied *___* seriously, the biggest bummer at the moment is the stringing, as I have no idea how to restring him and I really don't know what to do. But I guess that to some more experienced collector that wouldn't be much of an issue.

Positives:

• Sits amazingly. After all the trouble I had with my Souldoll Vito to get him to sit (he still won't ò__ò), having a doll that *finally* can sit without falling is awesome
• Holds poses really well, seems to be able to slouch quite nicely, can touch the back of his neck and his arms won't snap back, can do plenty of in-between poses with both his arms and legs... love it! *___*
• Very smooth resin, no seams as far as I could see.
  
• The hands are much prettier in real life than I thought they'd be. I actually purchased a pair of different hands to go with him because I was sure I wasn't going to like his hands, but it turned out that it wasn't really the case.
  
• The resin is a perfect match with Dollzone's new white (and old white too, for that matter), which was exactly what I needed for my hybrid

Negatives:

• He appears to have a way too small neck hole that made it difficult for the strings to get through. When I received him, I couldn't lift the strings enough to get the head on it. I thought it was a stringing issue, but once I took him apart to fix the stringing, I realised that, since the neck hole was too small, the strings were stuck inside the body and could barely get out. Even now that I fixed him by pulling the strings slightly more out of the neck hole, I'm a little wary of removing the head I got for him, because I'm afraid the strings could get stuck inside again D:
  
• His legs and feet like to twist around in the weirdest ways. The additional piece between his legs and butt (?) makes it even harder to get his legs in the right position. Sometimes his leg will turn backwards and it will take quite some time to put it back in the right position. This is especially annoying when you have clothes on him, as you have even less control over the joints .___.
  
• The upper part of his body is extremely heavy, especially for his skinny legs and tiny feet, but with some fiddling I could eventually get him to stand. He's actually pretty good at standing, but it took me nearly a month of playing to figure out how to do it .___.
  
• The feet aren't as detailed/realistic as the hands. However, that's not necessarily a huge negative thing for me, as I'm planning to have him wear shoes most of the time anyway.
  
• I don't really like that two of his fingers are sculpted as if "fused together" (no space between them)... but that's just not a huge issue.

* Would you buy more from this company?
I don't have any plans to buy more products from them right now, but they seem to have some really nice sculpts and so far I'm pleased with the body I got, despite the standing/stringing issues, sooo... maybe in the future?

I would say the quality was pretty good for the price. There were no seam lines, and the body has great posability.

Positives -
The body isn't overly muscular, which I really like.
The range of motion is great, and he stands like a rock.
Very inexpensive for an MSD.
Negatives -
The body came strung too tightly.
The biggest problem I have with this body is that the resin right around the wrists is absurdly thin. While I was testing the range of motion on the hands, the s-hook for his wrist took out some of the resin without any resistance from the resin whatsoever. The resin around the wrists is paper-thin, and far, far too easy to chip in some areas. However, the chips were small, and are hardly noticeable. Just be aware that the resin around the wrist is very thin.
Would you buy more from this company?
I would possibly buy more from this company if they released a sculpt I liked, or if I had another head I wanted to hybrid.

Pro:
- the Body is beautiful and poses really well
- the dolls stand right out of the box without any sueding, wiring or restringing
- No resin smell at all
- the price. I ordered during an event and got both dolls for together 240$
- the resin feels really smooth and high quailty

Con:
- the little plaque with their Logo on the back of the head they added is just a plastic sticker, that fell right off one of the dolls. But it's nothing major
- the heads are smaller than the older Doll Leaves msds so the space on the inside, to handle the S-hook and put in eyes, is way smaller than with the older versions
- the Lan sculpt still has the different sized eyes. It looks really asymmetrical

Maybe - she's my first, and I have a XAGA and Spirit Doll on the way, so we will see when I can compare. The price point really can't be beat, and I'm happy with her. Once I've practiced with her and can compare her to the others, I'll have more info. If I see a great head sculpt, absolutely.

More than so! The reason I chose Doll Leaves was because i wanted a doll that was natural and lifelike looking, but not too expensive as this was my first doll and I knew I’d make mistakes with them. Not that I have much to compare to, but for under 200 dollars the articulation and sculpting are super detailed and well crafted.

Yes! I’ve been delighted with them so far.

Positives: Incredibly high quality sculpting for an under 200 doll, has no seam lines, comes in a very well padded box, came well-strung
Negatives: Posing the arms can be tough, especially the shoulders. Hot glue sueding fixed the issue easily, though. The legs also have a limited range of motion around the hips due to the way the pelvis is sculpted, so you can’t really get a full abduction on the legs. Also Lan has the one slightly funky eye everyone mentions, it is t notable just by looking but when you do the face-up it makes it ever so slightly harder to get the two eyes to match.
* Would you buy more from this company?
Yes, I plan to!

Positives: I was astonished at the quality of the body. I think that the jointing and posing for a $159 USD body is excellent, and I am kicking myself for not buying one sooner.
Negative: Only one - I am not a fan of how the breasts are sculpted. I think they're, well, weird. But a little Apoxie Sculpt could fix that easily.
