MarisaAvery Congrats on your new Eve!! I don't have any DL's at the moment, but hopefully someone else can help you!

 

What a bummer on them not selling the Emily head. I was also hoping to get only the head.

 

I'll see what they look like when she gets here :P

No, not of Emily. There's very little 1/3rd DLs on the mp at all- I have been scouring it for a while now but mostly, it's just male heads or bodies. I don't think anyone has even bought an Emily around here, since no one has posted photos yet

strr99: Yeah! That face is gorgeous. But it would be such a waste to buy the complete, and then have to try and on-sell the body to recover costs. Especially when DL sells separate bodies in the first place. Haha, and it's highly unlikely I would find a willing split partner!

I just love the pictures of bailey and Emily. I'm looking I to getting either one of those two or ula. I love all three of them and I just can't decide which one I want. I may get more than one... They're just all so lovely.

 

Does anybody know which other companies match DS' normal skin tone? I am going to want to buy an Emily at some point, but want a more aesthetically pleasing body.

 

Hey, y'all with a Doll Leaves Bailey, what size eyes do you use for her? I changed out her lashes and was trying to change her eyes. And I got the 16mm, like they told me, but they seemed too big. Like, they just didn't seem to fit. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same trouble or if I might be going nuts?

 

Nevermind! I figured out the problem. One eye socket is bigger than the other. From what I've seen, it seems to be pretty standard on all the Bailey heads. And the 14 mm eyes I tried for her were kind of too small, so 16mm must be the way to go.

 

Sorry, I just noticed this question. I use 16mm in my Bailey head.

 

Does anyone have any Eve spam? She's so cute.

I'm so glad to see from owner photos that Emily's lips don't look as...um..."vivid" in person. I love her but was thinking if I ordered her I'd have to get those lips modded, lol. Big relief!

There haven't been a lot of posts here but I used this thread when I was looking at which doll to buy. I finally ordered Doris and she just arrived...she is lovely. I am a newbie so I have to figure out how to post pics but I will do that when I can. She is gorgeous though I think she is strung rather tight.

michellebebe - thank you ^^ These girls are so slim and small from SDs, she doesn't fit most of my SD13 clothing (too baggy). She also wears a 7-8" wig :O

Unfortunately..not really. Dresses with stretchy or smaller tops. It's easier to find things for her upper body I feel. I did recently replace her Doll Leaves body with a new Dollzone girl body so now I have different things to fit her with. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful with that one :/

Hi, I'm thinking about getting the G58-03 body for my floating head (it's the one that comes with Athena). It looks really pretty in the company photos, but I was wondering if it poses well at all. Does anyone have any pictures of the elbows when they are fully bent? I don't need her to be a super poser, just a pretty good one.

Hey, I'm guessing this is the right place, I just ordered an instock Soscia event head from Angelesque c:
Seems like not many people own this girl... in fact I haven't found anyone, bar the one lady in the waiting room with the six month layaway~

 

Been thinking about getting one of these ladies, but this thread is so empty... Is there something wrong with the dolls? The faces look really nice and I like the bodies from the photos.

 

I don't know > A < I don't think there's anything wrong with them, I don't have a body from them yet but my Soscia is gorgeous.

Fyi, her head is 19.5cm, slightly too big for MSD wigs, probably about 8in, works on big MSD bodies, possibly Zaoll bodies, personally I fully intend to put her on a Resinsoul 68cm girl body xD

 

Let's get this thread going again!! I have a DS Aurora ltd. I'm so excited to finally be finishing her up aesthetically... Got her some new hands BC the ones that came on the old SD body just didn't suit her. She just needs new eyes and will be all set!

I also have a Bailey head that is going to be waiting a bit on a body... So, my opinion is that a lot of the girl's heads look too large on the old bodies... Which may account for the lack of activity in this thread, etc. They finally released a new version... BC I dunno about anyone else, but my Aurora (Claudia), poses horribly. Her upper torso slides from side to side BC of the lack of real registration. I actually made her a binder just so she wouldn't shift around so crazily!

But as soon as I can figure out how to post a photo from my phone, I'll add one in of my Bailey, The Sea Witch. (She uses 16mm eyes, as someone asked before)

Just got my Doris a new wig and sweater set...she had to try them on "today". This shows her factory face up pretty well. She has white skin.

 

Nothing wrong with them....in fact I think the quality of the resin and the casting is excellent. I only have smaller size dolls to compare too though. I think they are just not very well known. I searched through every doll company when I chose my Doris. I like the faces a great deal and the price is good. I have found the body a bit frustrating to pose. Her legs "kick" a great deal and the jointed torso seems to make it harder to pose and I thought it would be easier. But, again, she is the only larger size doll I have so I may just be inexperienced at posing. I also got the jointed hands but I haven't put them on yet.

 

I redid Aeryn's faceup recently but I'm gonna wait I've got an Onlykids boy body coming in and it's gonna match her lots better than my other Msd's body so she's gonna steal it for a while I bet xD I'm actually getting Resinsoul's new SD girl body, eventually, hopefully this year, or early next year. Absolute latest, I'll order it a year from now when my birthday comes around again.

 

i have been interested in their SD girls, but it's so hard to find info on them. can anybody show me owner photos of their new SD girl body? in the company photos, the body & leg shapes look good, but i don't know if it's because of the angles or design, the arms look really skinny for the body...

 

I'll try to take some photos of my girl body this weekend and get them posted.

 

Woo, took a bit of digging to find this thread. Resurrecting it from the past to ask for some help. I have a Doll Leaves Emily who keeps dropping her leg I managed to fix it for a while with some apoxie but the most recent time I picked her up (just a few minutes ago) she managed to completely pop the apoxie piece off and drop her leg again Has anyone else had this issue, and what have you done about it?

Wow, so pretty. I was curious about the SD sized girls. I have two of the MSD girls, and absolutely love them. I was looking to see what peoples opinions were of the body and if anyone had owners photos. Please and thank you in advance.

I know this thread is super dead, but I've been trying to figure out how to get my (ancient at this point) Bailey to hold even a sitting pose. I thought she was strung too lose (she was), thought she was strung too tight (maybe?). I finally get her body holding something of a pose, then I added her head and it was flop city again. I think their heads are just too disproportional. Anyone have any luck sueding the joints?

 

If anybody's got an Eve, I'd love to see pics! She's always been on my "Ooh, Lovely..." mental list

 

If it's the old body (02?).... yeah, I wasn't able to get it to work at all. Hot-glue sueding helped a little, but overall the engineering on them just felt bad..?

 

It was from 2017-ish so probably.
