doll companies you've fallen in love with recently?

I was only really interested in Volks' sculpts but recently I've been drawn to SWITCH and Rosetta Doll. It's truly a danger to see so many beautiful sculpts out there...

 

I must admit that I’ve rediscovered Dollzone lately. I’ve had a few of their dolls in my collection from years ago, but my 4 most recent doll orders have all been for Dollzone dolls. Not sure exactly how or why that is except I was instantly smitten.

 

I've discovered a lot of new Chinese companies on Weibo lately, and I've definitely fallen in love with Mystery Phoenix's SD16 girls. The only thing that's stopping me from getting one is the waiting time.
Another one of my new favorites is LunarMate. I really like their sculpts' expressions.

 

I like IZE recently, especially dante!

 

For me lately, it's been Ringdoll. I love their big boys, and was so happy to get a Lucifer last year. I also adore my Teen Alice, and little Jade with her cute little fangs! I am waiting on my 5th doll to arrive from that company right now, and I am so excited for my new ¼ boy to get here!

 

I've been coming back to the Doll Family umbrella again and again lately. They seem to have something I like in every size range, and stylistically they're really beautiful and their bodies look like great posers. I only have a body from them at the moment but I added an anime-styled doll from them since they were the first company to have chubby-bodied anime boys in 1/4 size. I'm such a sucker for chubby dolls lately.

 

I discovered The Trinket Box dolls by Kim Arnold a few weeks ago and just fell in love with them. They look so different and unique. My favourite sclupt is Elf Meadow, her big eyes and wonderful smile just make my heart melt

 

I love Sio2 SD sculpts so much! I have owned several, but most are built for 65cm+ bodies, I discovered.

I would love to have kept them and put them on the bodies they deserved, but it's too much resin for me to handle well at that height.

I'm so sad they rarely make an appearance anywhere.

 

I've just discovered Skyland Dolls and I cannot stop looking at their Instagram; their sculpts are just precious!

 

I'm not in the market for dolls anymore I don't think but I like to at least click advertisements sometimes and see what's happening I was really struck by the foveo faces yesterday. Those girls are very lovely to me.

 

Granado! I had a week worth of just back and fourth emails about their Saturn doll and information, theyre so kind and nice about everything, 10/10 I can't wait to get a doll from them

 

I recently discovered Phoenix Mystery ... They're relatively new and seem to be an offshoot of Loongsoul. I got taken by their promo photos, haha, I'm such a sucker for East Asian ancient/period clothing mixed with scifi/cyberpunk/future flavour, I feel like I don't see this combo often in BJD world. They make 66cm girls and 71cm boys. I've been eyeing tall girls lately that's why I started looking at them... but I think I may have fallen for one of their boys, yike. I'm following them now.

 

Doll Family H and Impldoll are definitely no1 for me at the moment nearly all the dolls I have bought in the past couple years have been from them. Impldoll’s new sculpts are fabulous!

 

I fall in love with Harucasting bjd s, always waiting for a new Insta posts, dreaming and planing, thinking which sculpt to order in future.
Also recently discovered SoulDoll boys..wow, love their face sculpts, and also body look so nice on my opinion. Now trying to save money to make an order.

 

Doll Family-H is the big one for me most recently. I have two full dolls from them and just ordered their 68cm body because it's so stinkin' gorgeous and 100% the look I need for one of my boys. I love their resin quality and sturdy yet flexible posing and overall aesthetic. I'm very much looking forward to what they release in the future as well!

Also Mystic Kids. Great resin, great posers, and I don't know...there's just something kind of magical about them. They are just so much more wonderful in person and very fun to just...handle and hold. I have plans to get 2 more bodies from them this year if finances allow.

Small shoutout to Switch, who I've never looked twice at before until I became obsessed with Hwayeon and ever since then I keep seeing gorgeous Switch boys I never knew existed and I am very much taking a second look at them now.

 

I keep going and looking at the Granado sculpts a lot lately. I do have plans to save up and get one.

 

As of recent- DreamingDoll.. Not many people seem to have their dolls but I got my girl in only 1.5 months and she absolutely blew me away. I went with Lala B in "Yellow Normal" skin and she is so charming. She posing is fantastic and even the packaging was so lovely and thoughtful. Their website is actually so coherent and well laid out- payment was also very easy. I used PayPal's Payin4 feature. She was very well priced at $200 for standard MSD. She's with her faceup artist now and i can't wait until she's back!

 

I've been kind of obsessed with Dearmine. I love anthro dolls and their kitties come in every size, so cute! They have this scaling voodoo with their heads that make them look bigger than they are too. I love their dear pets and have been trolling the marketplace for some of the Picasso's to pop up

 

Impldoll!! i just love their big girls they make recently.

 

I currently can't stop looking into Telesthesia & Dragon boys and the muscular girl body from Impldoll! So many ideas for characters

My danger companies are pretty consistent.... Dollzone and Dream Valley are both incredible to me and they were two of the three I've preordered from more than once, but I've been eyeballing Doll Chateau for a while now since I'm thinking of getting one from there some day, and Puyoo Doll has the award for most sculpts I own from the same company at three (two full dolls and a floating head)! I'd also like to add Shoushou doll because Cat Cocoa is undoubtedly among my grails!

 

I started with a Dollzone phase, then a Ringdoll phase, now I am on a Loong Soul phase.
I have plans for three of the Loong Soul dolls this year, and I really hope I will be able to order them!

 

I just found Siso Doll. I don’t see many of them around and not on here at all. They fit the criteria for doll inclusion but I think I might be the only one talking about them, lol!

 

Coral Reef / Whale Island! ADVillage! MILO Doll! And most of all... XAGA Doll! I saw somebody post their unboxing for Birthday Cake... I looked at her page and saw Strawberry Shortcake and she's been a grail since!

I had no idea so many doll companies were sculpting the cartoon-ier, cutesier dolls, pear-shaped dolls that I like so much! I already knew about XAGA and GEM but I never saw their cuter sculpts before, somehow? I was so surprised!
In the time I've been away from the hobby a lot of new sculptors have popped up, too, and I think some bigger doll-makers are now supporting much smaller ones? I think GEM/MILO Doll is a good example. I have so many dolls on my wishlist, now, haha! It's a good feeling!

 

Impldoll has been killing it lately and I'm desperate to get my grubby mitts on one!

 

Ive been super into BonbonGalaxy lately, they have such cute furry bjds and at such good prices!

 

It's funny to come back one year later (oops, sorry), and my tastes have changed. Coral Reef dolls are gorgeous, but just too darn small.
Impldoll will own my paycheck when they release an even bigger girl body.

Surprise dark horse company: Miracle Doll. I now have 2 68 cm muscular female bodies. At first, I thought the necks were too big, but it turns out they are a fantastic hybrid option for Iplehouse EID and Soul Doll Vito boy heads. Who knew? I really enjoy how BIG they are, and I think the posing is pretty fantastic.

 

I've been into Xagadoll lately. I will order one next month or the one afte. They have so pretty bodies, specially the legs

 

Peak's Woods. Got my first doll from them and now I want another one haha. If only they weren't so expensive...

 

13 years into the hobby and I'm still amazed how many companies exist out there that I didn't know a thing of. ArgoDoll is no doubt one of them, gorgeous sculpts. I may get one head from them for my next doll project.

 

Honestly, it's Granado atm. I keep going back to look at their sculpts.

I feel you on that body! I have one of it, and it hybrids perfectly with Twigling heads, which is my danger company for sure! I’m already going “do I need another?” About it, which is the opposite of what anyone needs right now haha.

speaking of which, my danger company has been Twigling since 2020. I own every head Reese has ever released, including the ones she has discontinued. I have multiples of ingenue, gamine and Eloy. I have plans for possibly another Pieta, and if my floating heads don’t sell, I’m gonna have to create characters for more floating Twigling heads. If I had the money, I’d have more of them on the Twigling body, but because I don’t, most of them are hybrids.

 

Doll Chateau make beautiful bodies. I would love to combine one of them with Coral Reef's Coraline, I believe both would work so beautifully.

Also, not so recently but I have fallen in love with DoDollsDream's way of doing bodies. The faces are also beautiful, don't get me wrong - but those joints!

 

Xagadoll, Gem of doll, myou, so many pretty dolls!!!! Not enough funds!!

I was checking out some of the Dolkjp collaboration dolls with myou, they have some really beautiful full sets but there's no way I could get them, so I'll just look from afar.

 

I’ve recently gone head-over-heels for Huisdoll and SolarWindDoll’s work. Just amazing creature designs and poseability.

 

I'm newly obsessed with Merrydollround- I love where she's heading with the bigger sizes. I already ordered the updated Fang and i'm a little scared i'm going to need all the upcoming MSDs too.

 

Lately I have found myself completely in love with all of Dollmore's sculpts.

 

Every time I get a doll from a new company, I immediately fall in love with said company.
Yesterday, I got my first Telesthesia and Dragon Doll boy - and because I do nothing in half measures, I got the biggest doll they make: an 85 cm Super Rider Lacy.
He is enormous. I love everything about him. I want more.

 

Not very recently but it's been like a year that I fell in love with Joydoll and I want all their heads but I can't

 

I’ve recently fallen for Xagadoll. I find so many of their sculpts pretty and I love the look of the bodies they’ve been putting out. All the new more mature 1/4s that are coming out like Huajings are pretty cool too.

 

Youpla. I so want a Shuri, but I just can't justify that sort of money with the huge horde of dolls I have already and all the work my house needs in the near future.

 

I've recently learned about Asleep Eidolon! I love Col especially, and I hope to find her secondhand someday.

 

The last one I got was a Loongsoul Black Dragon and it has made me notice how beautiful many of their dolls are. I have also noticed some interesting dolls coming from Dream Valley although I do not own one of them.

 

Black Cherry Doll. I've been out of the hobby for a long time due to personal circimstances. I've fallen in love with some of the sculpts and want a few of them.

 

The newer ones I like to look at are Aimerai and Gem of Doll! I'd love to own their works, although it's not looking like it'll happen soon, sadly ;^^

Had a fantastic experience with Coral Reef and I like their Jiu Er Mao line a lot. If I stray from my wishlist again it will probably be for their dolls.

 

Recently took a closer look at iMda Doll (the 4.3 and 5.2 lines to be exact) and really fell in love!

 

I fall in love with Dollmore one year ago and now I can say it's my favourite brand with Iplehouse. However I like Volks a lot and I would like to buy one of their dolls but I think they are a bit expensive.

 

Coral Reef!

I saw a doll from Coral Reef in a box opening on here though and had a very good first impression. After that, I noticed that whenever someone posted a doll from this company, I always loved it. It's not hard to find dolls I really like, but it's far less common that I find a company where I love everything I see from it. I'd love to have a doll from Coral Reef eventually.

 

Muhan's Doll has such cute sculpts. I love looking at the artist's insta.

I've been head over heels for Coral Reef lately, every doll I see from them I just adore! I really love how unique they get with some of their less human sculpts, especially Opal

 

Do Dolls Dream, Lillycat Dolls and Dust of Dolls have taken up most of the space in my brain recently

 

Peak's Woods! I've had Vampire Rosemii for a few weeks now and I'm beginning to want another doll from them. They just look so interesting! Only problem is they're pretty expensive so who knows if I'll get another.

I also love the 1/6 size dolls from Coral Reef. I saw the horror cats back in June and just knew I had to have one!
