*raises hand* I ordered Lafal too, on a 6-month layaway from Alice's Collections. I don't particularly care about the outfit, but I wanted the wing blushing, so I went with the fullset in ws.

 

Oh, i am not a fan of centaurs so i ended up getting only the head, ill put it on a k-12 body!

I think the K-12 body is the one my Lance is on. I really like it

In media, my opinion of centaurs varies, partly depending on how they're portrayed, hahah. But Lafal will be my first centaur doll too, so I'll find out with him whether or not I actually like them

 

I have an Amos on the human-taur-4-human-feet body but he’s my only “centaur” so far
I just had to get Lafal to build into his story

 

I ordered Lafal full set with human belly and leg parts since I'm not sure if I would like him being a centaur. He is going to be my first centaur doll too and I ordered him from Alice's Collections.
Does anyone know what kind of waiting times I should expect for ordering from Doll Chateau through Alice's Collections with extra special parts (the belly and legs)? I'm already so excited for him!!

 

@Min Hoshi I’ve ordered three dolls from DC since September 22 - all through Alice’s Collections, but no fullsets or even face-ups. I’ve waited 3 months (early September to early December) + 3 months (early December to early March).

I was pleased with waiting times, considering there was Chinese New Year in between my second order.

I’d say you need at least two months more for the full-set? Lafal is beautiful doll, hope you’ll enjoy him and show once he arrives!

I started a layaway order for a blank Gail in green, since she's being discontinued and she's one of the dolls I really wanted as a someday doll.

 

i put ula head in green on layaway. my budget couldn't stretch to a full doll this month but maybe later this year.
I didn't want to deal with the regret and resentment I feel toward Hugh's discontinuation so I bit the bullet.

I received my Lafal from alice collections today, I’m really surprised at how early he came and he’s absolutely beautiful

But they forgot the ear wings, which was something I was really excited about and had to pay extra for

 

Just placed an order for a fullset Diana, here's to hoping she'll arrive soon enough, I paid in full but from what I've seen I'll still have a 6-8 month wait

 

A few months ago I placed an order of 3 dolls (Flora, Gladys. and Alva), I would not be surprised if I don't see these dolls for over a year, haha. All were paid in full.

 

Just put a blank Charon on a 10 month layaway...it's gonna be a long one but gods is she worth it.

 

Turns out I was very wrong about this! I received them all yesterday, which means they took less than 3 months to get to me. I'm super impressed by how quickly the turnaround time for them was!

My discontinued Ula head arrived! She was ordered in June so around 4-5 months? Certainly a lot faster than the quoted 6+ months.

Of course she IS just a head, but still.

the box she came in is MASSIVE btw.

My Lafal arrived today (Unexpectedly because I didn't get a message from Alice's Collections that they had shipped him). I ordered him back in April and he took a bit longer than I expected, but a 7-ish month wait seems to be about normal for Doll Chateau currently.

My Alva head arrived today along with my brother's Twinkle head. His had a face-up, and mine didn't since I'm going to paint her myself. She's so cute! We ordered them back during the discontinue sale the first week of June, so they took seven months. I was told they would be another month, but then I got the tracking less than a week later.

Has anybody else who ordered a Diana through BJDivas gotten any updates on their order? It's coming up on 10 months since I ordered mine, she's a full set so I don't know if those take longer than DC's usual 7 months?

 

I'm waiting on both Alan and Lafal! I'm so excited to display them together ;_;;; They'll be cute horse boyfriends. But I expect Alan to come around January. I don't know if I can take it!!!

 

I ordered an Elsa fullset, but I suspect it'll still be a while for her yet--I have several days I am waiting on, and it's driving me crazy, lol. It is so much fun though!

 

I got a DC’s doll with company faceup and blushing before and it’s 11 months for the wait, that said, full set can take even longer

 

I am still waiting for the dark-tan A-body-03,for my doll chateau-Olivia,I found that there is no another BJD body that more suitable than DC original body.

 

Any updates on wait times for DC? Do they still take forever?

 

@eleniel oof! Sorry to hear that I knew the times for DZ and DC were super long and I was hoping that had changed.

 

Unfortunately yes, I ordered a full set Diana back in August of 2023 and still haven't gotten it (although BJDivas did say they got a notification from DC that a large order was on the way).

 

@Odii&Thaer&theCD Whaaaat... August 2023?! I sincerely wish your doll is included in the batch they're shipping out, and eleniel's too... You both deserve a medal, I wouldn't handle that long of a wait.

 

@eleniel I can't blame you for that... What doll was it? The fullsets are really gorgeous so maybe she'll be worth the wait in the end.

 

Yeah, it's REALLY frustrating to see other people getting the exact same doll but I'm still waiting (and BJDivas isn't answering my messages now it seems?) :/ I mean my bank covers me up to two years for purchases so I guess I could get a refund still, but I'd rather not resort to that if possible...

I sympathize with all of you for such a long waiting period. I've never had anything like this happen to me. I usually ordered Doll Chateau dolls from Alice's Collections or New Clover Singing and waited 4 months.

 

I'm not sure exactly about BJDivas, I'm just more concerned about not getting any updates for over a month when I was told two months ago that there were orders arriving

 

i ordered a basic laney with faceup in april of 2024. she arrived this april, though the year wait was extended as she should have been shipped in october but the dealer found that Doll Chateau had only sent a blank head. the wait for the next shipment was six months.

has any one received the sheep sorceress yet?

 

Ohhh Laney is amazing sculpt and body! I am currently waiting on k-05 body in grey resin that I ordered back in October but not a word yet. I have several DCs bought via ACBJD in the last 3 years and this is the longest wait so far.

 

FINALLY got an order update on my Diana, she arrived and is going to be shipped within the coming week, after almost 2 YEARS!

 

FINALLY my doll arrived! Almost 2 years later, and a month and a half of a non-updating tracking number from BJDivas
Needless to say, I probably won't be buying anything from Doll Chateau it through BJDivas for a while (or ever if that), especially if their wait times remain the same...

 

Hi, I ordered a Y06 body back in late August via DDE, what is the usual wait time for DC? I have never ordered from them before and this is for my mom who has DCs but bought second hand. Thank you!!

 

I usually ordered DC dolls from Alice's Collection, sometimes from New Clover Singing. I waited an average of 4 months for my orders, but that was 3-4 years ago.
