i love Hyman as well, to me there is something about his face that is sort of wistful, sweet and sad at the same time. i really liked the faceup/tattoos they did on his promo pictures.

 

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 I just got the shipping notice from Alice's Collections for my green skin Ona from January, so it seems that DC did a large batch of green dollies recently. I really hope your long wait comes to an end soon!

 

@The_amphibian I hope that you will receive your doll soon, my order in December 2020 hasn't arrived yet too but I have high hopes

Me too,tbh. DCs fullsets are so ethereal and fanciful, I can't wait to see what my partner's Hyman will look like irl! Now, if only I can get him to come back to posting on DOA....

i'm kind of excited, my order with Enoch just notified with tracking! completely thought this would take longer as i ordered him only Feb 2021... i hope this is a sign that production times are getting better

Hey y’all~ lurking back in here again. It’s now a bit over 15 months since I ordered my Y-05 body in white skin through BJDivas during the discontinuation sale [or the purge as I call it sometimes lol]
I just sent them an inquiry about it a little while ago so fingers crossed they reply with good news. No hate on them as I know it’s tough being the middle-man; I just wish DC was more consistent especially with their communication as I’ve heard it’s very hard to get a hold of or an answer from them.

 

I have a DC A-body-08 that I am waiting on. I bought through Alices Collections. I ordered March 11th. So Its been about 4 months. I just emailed them and they said it will be about another 2-3 months more. I have ordered many dolls from alices collections and they do a very good job at how accurate they are. So a good time frame for those who ordered from alices collection.

I'm so happy with her! Doll Chateau met all of my requests, and for anyone waiting on a girl with the Y06 body, I'm happy to report that they've fixed the buckling issue with the knees. Until next time, friends!

 

Got word from BJDivas yesterday that my order has indeed arrived to them, they just can't get to it right now because of them moving back to their original unit. I'm so excited! Can't wait till they find it

 

So happy to see the surge of green dolls arriving at homes. I should be expecting my green A-03 body soon and I'm super excited! However, no word of my Morgan order from the Halloween event last year. Anyone heard anything about it? I ordered her through Clover Singing.

 

Just got my tracking number! I ordered a 70cm body through alicescollections on March 11th. And today is July 4th I got my tracking number. I'm so excited!

 

First time posting on the forums here, I ordered my first bjd back in January from Denver Doll Emporium, the K-02 body and a Bella head, and I'm really hoping it arrives in the next couple months. it's hard to be patient honestly and whenever I excitedly bring it up to my mom when we talk she gets anxious on my behalf haha. been planning outfits and accessories for a while but I'm hesitant to really make anything until I have the doll to accurately scale it all with.

My first DC was Bella from Denver Dolls too, but she was in the stock so I waited only 15 days or around, but blanc dolls takes really about 5-6 months for now, so it’s soon

 

Update on my A Body 04 ordered on 3/14/2021
I didn't see any notification of shipping and was totally blindsided when my roomate came home from work and brought in the box! A little shy of 4 months in total.

I wanted to do an unboxing video and thread but I was so excited I ripped that sucker open while nearly hyperventilating.

 

My Mini Bella arrived! She's a mature mini, ish, and a very different aesthetic, so she's .fascinating.

 

I'm back in the waiting room! Ordered another body through alicescollections. I got the 72cm. The wait is on!

 

I just got a notification from ACBJD that my Enoch and Evangeline (along with a bunch of accessories and extra heads) are being shipped out today! If anyone wants to see what Enoch looks like let me know these past 7 months have gone by so fast I feel like I didn't have to wait at all hahaha

Update: Welp, one out of three is not too bad.

My Nude Emi Ant arrived on July 24th, and I've been playing with her ever since! She's my first "official" tiny. For some reason, I thought she would be a Yo-SD size. *shrug* She is really cute and smol and I can't wait to get her faceupped! Now, to figure out what kind of outfit I want her to wear....

I heard from BJDivas, and apparently my Nicola fullset was missing some pieces. BJDivas contacted DC, and they are supposed to send the missing pieces, so that's what I'm waiting for. I wonder what was missing?

My partner is still waiting for his Hyman fullset. It wasn't shipping notice he received, it was a "we (BJDivas) have your doll, we can ship it when you pay for shipping" notice. Hopefully, they'll ship him out soon since shipping has now been paid for, but my partner's afraid of asking when he'll be shipped. BJDivas puts you at the end of the shipping line if they need to pull your doll for any reason.

Its been a more than a year and a half since Nicola-A and Hyman were ordered, so what's a little longer?

Does anyone know the wait time for DC? I placed an order in December 2020 and still no word

 

Normally it took 3-4 months for a blank doll and 10-12 months for a fullset, only facup and blushing would be 10 months. Hope this helps!

Just paid BJDivas the shipping for my Y-05 body that I ordered in mid March 2020! Very excited. I hope it actually works out for the weird idea I had when I initially ordered it lol I’ll post time stamps when it arrives to me.

just broke my rule of only 1 doll on order at a time and ordered Cecile. They are too pretty, I know I'd regret it if I missed them u_u) between the neck and the wings, and just how pretty sleek they look.

Kinda nervous cause they will be the first doll of mine to have moving fingers...they look so delicate.

mmhm~ I'm in for a bit of a wait, but can bet I'll be taking loads of pictures when get them. ordered blank so shouldn't be too bad of a wait. So excited to do their faceup and stuff. hoping to get comfortable with an airbrush before it's time to do the wings cause want to be able to use some stenciles for patterns. (been doodling some ideas how I want to style)

 

The Nicola-B head I've ordered 7 months ago has been shipped! Can't wait to finally receive it.

 

still waiting for my blank doll I ordered back in january, this is my first doll and I'm pretty new to all this so I'm just hoping I get that email soon. does the dealer you order it through have anything to do with wait times sometimes? I ordered through DDE, but I was also expecting the wait time to probably be a little longer than what they put on their site anyway, just wondering if DC ships out to certain dealers before others, or ships all orders to a dealer site before moving to the next.. or if anyone even knows, I've heard DC doesn't communicate much on orders anyway? I feel kind of silly asking but I keep thinking about it

 

DC seems a little more random than a lot of other companies. DDE on average gets orders about a month later than China-based dealers, which is faster still than Divas' additional two months. I want to note that I've not seen evidence of a single thing shipped internationally from the general Shenzhen region since late August, so I've been wondering the ports or airports might be extremely backed up right now (I looked this up after typing this and they're apparently having a shipping crisis). I think you're probably in for a bit of an extra wait even if DC performed perfectly this time.

I feel you though. Technically, I ordered my first doll on February 2nd. I now have two in my house and neither of them are that original purchase. Waiting is hard

 

oh gotcha, thank you for the reply! the waiting is hard but knowing about how things are backed up right now is reassuring, I feel less in the dark now. thank you of course still hoping things get resolved over there and we don't have to wait too much longer for our dolls haha

Guys. This body is STUNNING. The filigree sculpted detail around the neck is so pretty. And the resin feels so nice. Standing it is a little challenge but nothing a few kips or sueding will fix. It does seem to work for the idea I had so now I just need to order that head in white skin. I’m so excited to finally have the body home

Just got the notification from clover-singing that my Enoch fullset has shipped! He'll be my very first BJD and I'm so excited!

 

My DC-Nicola head finally arrived after eight months! She looks absolutely incredible, I personally think even better than the stock pictures. Her face-up detail is amazing. I would like to share some pictures soon!

 

got so excited making clothes I forgot to post here about having finally received my doll haha, so happy I finally own my first BJD and Im so totally in love with it. also it came with extra wrist joints, which I assume was a mistake but a nice surprise, I actually like it better with them. I ordered a blank K-02 body and Bella head on January 20, 2020, I got the email it had shipped on October 9, and it got here the 15th. longest time Ive ever had to wait for something so far but boy was it worth it

Still no word on my order from December 2020 my dealer emailed them and all they said was that it was in a warehouse. So next month it will be a year that i have been waiting for this doll.

Wow, congrats!! I’m happy more Alvas are appearing here, it’s such a beautiful sculpt. And I would love to see yours!

 

My Cecile came in and they are so gorgeous! haven't tried on their wings with the rest of them cause requires some hook swap outs and don't wanna mess with them till I got some body blushing done~ (never worked with clear resin before xD)

After a more than two year wait, my Doll Chateau Nicola-A (green skin fullset) finally shipped!

BJDivas told me that "DC had only sent part of the fullset, and they were waiting on the rest." Well, it took seemingly forever for DC to make and ship the rest of the fullset, but its on its way!
