I just got my shipping notice from DDE, my Cephalopod is on the way!! Ahhh I'm so excited! I was looking all over the forums and social media yesterday to see if there were any more updates and decided to just be a little more patient. I didn't think it would pay off this soon haha

Ordered DC's latest special doll, Arnold. Based on what I've read plus good old covid delays, I'm assuming I'll be waiting here for a while. Hopefully if it's a long wait I'll forget that I've ordered him and his shipping notice will be a fun surprise!

 

I sent an inquiry to BJDivas about my Julianne order and she is in! Paid the shipping, so fingers crossed!

 

My Julianne was supposed to arrive yesterday, but... who knows where she is now. The current status is "In transit, arriving late" with no expected date anymore and the last scan several days ago in Wisconsin. How hard is it to just get the box barely across the border, guys?!

 

Very hard, there might be Americans hiding in it trying to sneak their way into Canada. SWIGGITY SWOOTY WE'RE COMING FOR THAT... maple syrup? (and better healthcare >_>)

 

I'm not even over that border though XD I'm in Minneapolis/St Paul, which is so close to Wisconsin that Hudson, WI is basically a St Paul suburb.

I've got an improvement on mine; after giving USPS a call today and getting a trace put on the package, totally concidentally it scanned in Minneapolis just a little bit ago. Fingers crossed they don't shove it behind another pile there!

@Eva Brown, your Nicola is very lovely! I can't wait for mine to arrive at BJDivas! My Nicola transboy is a fullset and greenskin, so I'm guessing that it is going to add extra time.

I suppose I'm simply waiting for my shipping notice that he arrived at BJDivas and then to pay off any remaining shipping charges before Firryn comes home.

Producing time is around 8-10 months now, and I remember you ordered Nicola just before me, so I think she is on her way.

The default eyes that came with her don't quite fit, but I (almost) never use defaults anyway. I'll be ordering something different for her as I decide what her look is.

Julianne arrived, making it over a year since I ordered her. Really can’t say I’m a fan of the doll- she is SO fragile, a weird poser, and I can’t get her wig on. I feel like i’ve nearly broken her 5 times trying. At least shes pretty? Don’t think I’ll be returning to this room, this wasn’t exactly a good first impression for the company.

 

Just got my Julianne fullset in, after 12 months and 2 days of waiting! I must admit I like her more than I thought I would after this extended wait, and the blushing in faceup are SO detailed and well-painted (wasn't sure to expect such perfection after seeing some DC dolls arrive with damaged blushing in the past).

As with the post above, I absolutely cannot get her fullset wig to stay on, though. I'm going to see if I can't get a wigcap or elastic band that'll hold the silly thing on. Her gigantic ears are kind of interfering, ahaha.

 

My Julianne was supposed to be delivered on Monday, but, as usual, USPS is taking their sweet time. Just keep updating the status with "in transit, arriving late" every night. Like that's reassuring. I sent an email and will see if that does anything, since it's more than five days out now.

 

Okay, so I THOUGHT all was good with my Julianne fullset order that arrived yesterdat, but I just realized... she was supposed to come with a collar, and I can't find it at all.

 

My Julianne arrived. Trying to figure her out. She's my first skeletal doll and first from DC. So far, she's adorable.

 

I just ordered one of my holy grail dolls, Doll Chateau Larry from Jeeryama. I know its weird that my holy grail is a yosd snail but I fell in love with him the second I saw him. I have been struggling for years to find him from a reputable seller and Ive heard that Jeeryama is a legit seller. I got him because he is in stock. How long do you guys think it will take him to arrive? Does Jeeryama take a long time to send stock dolls considering they are from HongKong.

 

right now, maybe 2 weeks from stock? sometimes faster, but with christmas maybe a bit unpredictable.

I just received a notification that my doll has been shipped. Yay! Now is time to wait during these Christmas shipping times. I guess this will be a my New years gift to myself.

My Noah I ordered back in November is finally with BJDivas! I need to get the shipping address updated since I moved in the last year but the wait is finally almost over

 

Hey, quick question for you guys. How long does it typically take for DC to answer an email about ordering a doll through them? Due to the holidays (yaay bonuses and gift money) I can actually do a Pluto without payments and wanted to see if ordering through them was quicker than with a dealer..... but it's almost been a week now so I might go with a dealer soon anyways...

 

Popping in here randomly but from what I’ve heard from my friend who’s ordered through Fabric Friends & Dolls and I’ve ordered through BJDivas, DC takes a very long time to reply, if at all.

I ordered a Y-05 body in WS on March 14th 2020 through BJDivas and it hasn’t arrived to them yet. My birthday is at the end of March so I’m hoping it will arrive by then. We’ll see though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I've never gotten responses from DC directly.

 

My order from the 24th of August 2020 has been shipped out whooo!!! Now I need to get the heads I sculpted for the bodies I ordered printed though...

But still super excited!

 

My human Dora and Peach pink head are on their way since the 7 of december, the wait is just so long towards the end...

 

That's a very fast turnaround... did you get it with faceup or anything? I ordered mine blank back in August from the same dealer, and no word yet. But I also ordered one of the special colors, so not sure if that has any effect.

They did indeed mean 2019. They also ordered the Fullset, according to the waitlist. I ordered a blank Noah in peach almost a full 12 months ago(Jan 13). With luck, mine might come in soon as well. Let's go! Let's go! Woooo

i think the world has been insane for nearly a year, maybe things will get better with some return to normal business soon. for the record, my Noah shipped in 3 months, ordered sept. 2019, received before the end of Dec 2019 as complete surprise.
the shut downs amplified in late 2019 through to summer 2020.
My more recent order took a bit longer at 8 mos. and with that, all my DC is here
so until the next 1/3 sized they make *waves* i'll see you folks out in the forum threads

my Noah is out for shipping!

 

14-ish months and he's finally here! I asked for the tear and chest scar to be removed which probably made my wait a good deal longer, but I'm really glad I did. The only bummer is the wig came as parts instead of a complete wig so I'll try to assemble it myself eventually.

He's not an amazing poser since all of his leg joints are single joints, but he can stand and he's adorable which is good enough for me.

Ah... well, I mean I get it, 2020 was kind of a wash for everybody. But if they're shipping things out now, that means they'll eventually get to mine! Also I ordered him in grey! Spooky deer aesthetic, here I come. (Eventually.)

WELP, I just took the plunge and ordered an Ona in green resin on the y-06 body from Alice's Collections. I'm so excited to have a fantasy resin color back in my collection, though I know that wait is gonna take a hot minute.

 

I just ordered a Mini Bella full set through Dolkus yesterday. It's my first Doll Chateau bjd.

 

I got a mini bella blank in peach skin on layway on DDE. I'm so stoked, I've been wanting her for so long! I've had her in MSD sized before but she never quite stuck with me. I think I'm going to vibe with the mini bella a lot better!

 

RIP BJDivas said my Noah wasn't in this shipment. Oh well. I also found out last night he's slightly smaller than expected. A youtube unboxing compared him to what I think is a normal 45cm. Noah looked that height when his horns were included. If it's not too much to ask, can someone confirm his height, not including horns?
On top of it, I ordered the Sharon head so I could swap heads. I didn't think about it while ordering, since it's the same company and scale, but Sharon's head is slightly smaller, and her neck hole it much smaller. I actually am finding this quite funny.

I wanted to ask, could you elaborate on Human Dora? The only one I know of is the smaller centaur. (Whom of which I want as well!)

 

@FuyumiAya - i checked him, and even on his side, measuring his front legs up to his head with no horns he is only 43cm.
Standing up, i have to spread out his legs a bit so he doesn't fall, so he sinks down to 42cm, the tallest i could get on carpet
on a hard floor he would have fallen for sure. If you wire his hocks down, it would prolly help that a bit. i'm still experimenting.

i really do hope yours comes in soon.

All of my order has finally arrived on the 4th and 5th of Janury! They came in two huge boxes on two separate days. I only had the chance to play with one body so far, the Y-03 body, and it was so incredibly tight that I had to unstring it and get some new elastic. Other than that I am very happy ^-^ The peach resin is so nice.

 

Last month I ordered a Alva head on a Ryan body & a K-Body-15. I am not sure what the wait time is right now but they are on layaway so that should help kill time.

 

I'm currently waiting for 4 Doll Chateau in total, what an anxious time. If you guys can spam me pictures of our Doll Chateau, that would cheer me up so much!!! Thank you!

I just ordered a fullset Dora that was in stock over on DeverDoll! I am so excited to be owning a Doll Chateau doll, especially one so beautiful as her! I honeslty love her more then I love Zora. I am doing a 4 month layaway that my mom is helping with for my 31 birthday, and I will get her in may hopefully!
