Doll Chateau Waiting Room v.7

I'm hoping to get my Cephalopod either tomorrow or the day after but I'm so worried. Their are a bunch of unruly brats I have to unfortunately call neighbours who have already taken off with a random Amazon package who's to say they won't swipe this one?

 

I just picked my Julienne up from the post after almost three months in transit!

 

I hope the staff at BJDivas are doing ok. They’ve been so polite about me asking about my Julianne every now and then, It makes me want to support them more in the future. Doll Chateau on the other hand, not so much.

 

I received an email from Angelesque saying my doll is ready to ship. YAY!!! Hope it does not take too much time to arrive!

 

Ups said my parcel would be here today. They lied.

Disappointed though because they emailed AND texted me telling me "your parcel is on the way" and telling me to wait in for it.

 

Ok so finally got conformation all my dolls are there from the april 2019 disc. Sadly lydia didnt get her outfit, and Im worried maybe not hair.

I guess the one takeaway there is that I will be refunded for that and it will cover my shipping costs.

Hearing they are def at bjdivas has brought back some inspo. Im going to start planning faceups and such and hopefully when they arrive I will be past that 'what did I do ordering so much' and to the 'eeeeeee life has so much to keep me busy now'.

 

I have wanted a Doll Chateau bjd for quite a while and I'm so happy that I saw they're re-releasing the limited ants, so I got my sister and myself one each (along with a few Doll Family A dolls, oops) DC dolls are so gorgeous, who else has an ant?

she wasn't very well packaged but she's fine. I was worried when I saw how flimsy their new boxes are and her little hooves and tail sticking out of the bubble wrap. I was all "uh oh..."
but she's okay.

I opened her to check her over and then wrapped her up again. I'm waiting on dye so it'll be a while before I get that sorted and she can be unstrung and dunked. I plan to dye most of her black except the spine piece which i'll blush to look like bone and her hooves and horn tips which I might do in red for contrast.

I'm a little wary about how teensy so many of the bits are though, I think im gonna need either a mesh bag or a strainer so I don't lose the bits in the pot.

 

A (new, dedicated) aquarium net actually works really well for small parts

 

My Julianne will be going in the dye pot soon too @purple_monkfish ! She's going to be pink with a white spine and purple hooves

Say as we will, raising heck gets stuff done. So for those waiting on fullset Juliannes from BJDivas according to DC they've not even been shipped to BJDivas yet. So they're not even en route as of yet. So..no idea how much longer we'll be waiting. DC THINKS they'll be sent state-side here next week but no guarantee. And no word on what shipping method will be used.

 

Anyone else waiting for any tan dolls from the March 2019 discontinuation?
I haven’t heard anything since early March this year....
Haven’t seen any tan dolls either so I’m getting worried DC didn’t produce any tan dolls at all.
I did mail BJDivas but they are so swamped I almost felt bad for asking.

 

Tracking for my Lillian hasn't moved since the 21st June. It's still within the shipping estimate, but not getting any updates at all has me a little worried.

 

@Mizuzu I've been stalking DC's events and painstankingly waiting for them to do a Tan Resin release. I so badly want a Cyril in tan on the Adult body.

 

So it took from February 2019 to August 2020, but my Delias and Lance heads and K05 body are all together from BJDivas! The body was all the reason for the hold up.

I ordered a Colin head from the 2020 discontinuation that I'm waiting on now, and I'd like to maybe get more DC bodies, but now I'm a little uncertain.

Edit: the stuff I just received was from the 2019 discontinuation, although I got white skin @Mizuzu . Still, hopefully that means your stuff will be around, soon? I know BJDivas is almost a 1 person show at the moment. They might still be sorting through their most recent shipments, of which my K05 body was a part of. It took them at least a month to go through the first shipment from March 2020 to tell me just my heads were in stock, and not my body!

DC dolls are very beautifully sculpted.
My dolls i from an order last year, so I’m a little worried, it’s my first tan doll from DC.

Oh! Lucky you! Happy to hear someone else at least got an order from that year too!
I knew my order would take a bit longer cause of the tan color and cause of the combination of head and body I picked out.
I know it’s not Bjdivas fault at all. Hopefully they can get in more help. I’ll continue to keep my fingers crossed that my order reaches home this year!

 

Yay! My blank Julianne came today. Just 4 days from Angelesque sent her to me I still haven't bonded with her, she's very loose arms and it's very difficult to stand but the resin is very smooth. Hope you get your doll quick!

 

I don't know if this helps anyone here, but my Cecilia head arrived today. I ordered from Alice's Collections in May this year, she shipped on the 7th August and arrived today (I'm in the UK), the 21st. So not a long wait and no shipping issues despite everything that's going on!

 

Is anybody waiting for Laney, from the Bjdivas? Still not find anything new on their site or on Facebook...I know they have hard time and not really want to bother them ...

Thank you! I check tracking wherever I can. The same thing happened to mine. It has been at the point of export in Guanzhou since August 7. Maybe they ship to the UK faster than to Poland ? I've to be patient.

 

Still no further word on full set Juliannes for BJDivas. doll chateau claimed it was shipping out this week but no one seems to have a record that that's actually happened so who knows.
At this point I'm starting to think that my March of this year orderiorder going to be here faster then my November of last year order.

 

Ordered a A-body-03, a Y-body-03, jointed 1/4 hands and the new event head yesterday. I'm already impatient-I want my new babies aaah!

 

I just got my Cephalopod and Julianne blanks. I already am preparing to get them all painted up.

Does anyone on this thread have news of blank Juliannes ordered from BJDivas? I don't want to bother the Divas yet considering how busy they are. There were rumors that some may have shipped in March, but since then I have heard nothing, and that March shipment may have been just that, a rumor. Anyone?

 

It wasn't a rumor, I'm the one who spoke to both DC and BJDivas and posted about it here. I know some blank Juliannes arrived to BJDivas several weeks back but there's no word from either end of any that were missing in that shipment or for any of the full sets.
The last I checked with BJDivas, DC hasn't been replying to their inquiries so the liklihood even they know is unclear. The most recent information I have from DC directly is that fullset Juliannes were supposed to be shipped this past week to the US but rather or not that happened I can't get clarification on. Nor had I asked them for a follow up on any blank Juliannes sent to BJDivas in my latest correspondance.

 

Thanks. As of the beginning of May BJDivas said that they had not yet received any Juliannes, but it has been 3.5 months now. Guess more patience is in order.

After 4 months the Alva head has shipped, who will be going to my friend but it's very exciting! Still waiting on the full one so here's to hopefully waiting only 6 months for it.

 

Ordered my first doll- a lovely little ant which is... still processing 4 days later

 

I know it has been a long time since I've posted here, but I just wanted to share that I had forgotten to update my Landa order in the wiki, so if people think I was still waiting on my doll from March 2019, she's been here since January (2020)! (I think BJDivas got her in October or November 2019? while I was paying her off.)
She came lacking a wrist piece, but she is safe with none of the staining/mold release horror stories of that time frame.
She oddly also came in an MSD box instead of a bag, which was relieving but it doesn't fit her properly. Sharing this in case they have more 35cm releases where they seem too big for a YOSD but too small for an MSD, and some one wanted to know (I know I did!)
I remembered I had to update the wiki from seeing BJDiva's instagrams of the discontinuations that have recently passed from both DZ and DC- and I hope they weren't or aren't as messy as the 2019 stories haha.

I received word from BJDivas on my blank Julianne, I was told that in the last shipment from DC, all the blank dolls were gray, so they are still waiting for a shipment with white (blank) Juliannes (or for more white, I do not know if they have received any previously, I ordered on the very last day, so I am at the end of the line!)

 

My Lillian finally arrived at customs! The last update in her tracking before that was on the 21st of July, so she'd been stuck waiting for a plane to ship her for quite some time. Here's hoping she gets through customs quickly and then I can go about figuring out what kind of body and wig I want for her.

 

Ive made my first doll order in about 8 years only to suddenly remember the dreaded wait times! It seems like DC takes as long as ever but Alice Collections told me 4-6months. Anyone have any idea how accurate that is?

 

Congrats for the arrived dollies! Still nothing about my Laney... I know that a 9 and half month wait time is not too long if you ordered from DC... She is my first doll, from a company with long waiting time... And I can tell that the last too, but no. It's not.

 

Just did the last payment on my Julianne layaway, so now I can feel like I'm actually waiting...

 

I ordered my Lillian head (with company faceup) at the end of March this year and she was ready for shipping in late July. So some orders do seem to get made within the 4-6 month timeframe, but it seems to depend a lot on what exactly you ordered.

 

I'd say pretty inaccurate. I'd advise being prepared for at least 6 months, especially with covid. Sorry.

 

I am waiting for 9 and a half month now...

I actually got a Dollzone Carter, but got a DC boy body to go with it I have a DC Christina and absolutely love her! I also got a DC skull headpiece. So I'm really just waiting for parts, but without them I have no doll :P

Aw man, I got the email from Divas that DC indeed can no longer produce the Y-02 body. I ordered mine too late. So sad.
But they’re picking up TinyFox! Yaaaaay more vinyl!

 

Got my Shipping info for my dolls from the April Discontinuation ahhhhhhhh -foams at mouth-
Im so glad my excitement came back, I was so depressed about it and worried I wouldnt want them anymore after a 1.5 year wait but yup, excited fo sho.

Still sad my lydia is just blank with a faceup and not a fullset. But they refunded me and it covered the shipping for my whole order so thats pretty nice. Not having to pay 80$ out of pocket atm is a really nice perk.

I will for sure post when they arrive. Bjdivas has been wonderful even during this crazy time. I cant even thank them enough for all the help they have given me with the lydia issue.

 

Just popping over here to check on wait times since my order was made 3/6/2019 and I'm still waiting. I added my order to the wiki. May 1, 2020 BJDivs told me all the heads were in but full dolls were lagging behind. I'll probably check in with them again shortly but came here to see how the waits are. For reference I ordered 3/6/2019:

*Agatha full doll k07 body normal yellow
*Isabel full doll k11 body wingless body white
*Delia head normal pink
*Almas head normal yellow

with a 7 month layaway with BJDivas and of course it's paid off now (I think I paid it off early, could be wrong though).

Glad to see some of the discontinuation event dolls are finally starting to come. I think this wait has officially become longer than my Dollshe wait lol.

 

Still no word from Doll Chateau where the fullset Juliannes ordered through BJDivas are. I've now reached out to BJDivas directly to see if they could get anything from DC since DC keeps giving me the runaround whenever I ask. The last I spoke to them they insisted the order for BJDivas would have arrived by now but I am extremely doubtful based on information I've received. If I hear anything, I will update here.

 

When I got the email from Divas yesterday, she said she had finally spoken with their new rep. So maybe they’re still getting business settled and the new rep is getting settled in soon? I hope you hear news soon.

 

YAY, more ant people! I added a nude EmiAnt to my Nicola-A fullset order a bit ago. I think that means I now have 12 payments to make, but I could be wrong.

Its kind of cool to know that my dolls ae being made while I pay them off!

I'm wondering, does anyone know what happened to the rest of BJDivas' crew? I thought I remember reading that they were sick, are they better now? Being sick sucks.

On fb they updated that one member came back from being sick, but the one who’d been manning the fort just took some time off to rest so it’s still down to one member

 

I have a feeling its related to color of resin, I know a while back they said some colors like tan showed up, and most whites, but others are lagging a good bit. Because of how they do batches that may be the cause. I would for sure contact them, they have been replying within a day recently.

 

Yeps, I tend to keep in touch with them, contacting every few months with a simple "hey, just checking in, any updates". They've been good about getting back to me even with the "no" that it normally is.

I ordered my Dollshe through them as well.. unfortunately for them both my orders with them have had long wait times for the dolls! I tend to be very patient though so it's not that I'm getting overly worried or anxious, more just one of those "hey, I have dolls coming still right?" moments lol They'll get here when they do. If I'm out of love with them I'll sell them, if I still love them I'll keep them.

And I can also understand DC wanting to do the tans first while they have the weather and time/patience for the more tricky color. I just wasn't impressed by the DC tan that I'd seen and figured I'd be better off just dying a doll to the color I wanted so I didn't order it. Maybe I should have ordered tan, they could be here sooner and I'd probably still be dying the doll! lol

I've been so worried about my order since it was a tan skin doll.
Btw I ordered another Barbara, it's my favorite sculpt from DC. I already have a green skin Barbara girl and thought she needed a cute tan boy to talk to! They'll look precious together!
