Special Event DoA Birthday Swap!

I have not received anything yet, but I have been anxiously checking the mail lol

 

I just wanted to post a quick thanks to Tenshi and Mikan for sending Quat a box of adorable things!! Pictures to come when there's at least a WEE bit of light in the house... but they are adorable gifts and will be very much enjoyed!

 

Yeah, mine should have arrived a few days ago but I haven't heard a single word.

It's so weird not having a tracking number to watch!

 

I know! I'm actually nervous about it.... though tracking numbers don't always tell you the truth... I was waiting for a package from Finland, which arrived either friday or saturday (I wasn't at my house) but even up to last night the tracking number said it was still in customs in NY, which is on the other side of the country from here!

I received my swap gift today ( thank you Jane and Ziggy !! ) an actual Addipose for the Doctor!! There is another present yet to open, but I'm saving that for when I get home (and near my camera). Woot - huggable fat!!

 

The pattern was so BIG! I can't wait to see what the Fat Baby looks like next to your Doctor. Glad it made it there so swiftly! I've swapped via Swap-Bot.com and had stuff takes AGES! Hope you like the second bit too!

I got my package yesterday...but I had alot of running around to do this weekend. So the kids devoured into the package and left nothing for me to see. Thanks CherryChanGifts!!! He will love his gifts...when he gets here... >.> He's been held up in jail for a little while longer for a silly petty theft he got caught doing! :p So his friend Meryll will accept his gifts in pictures that I'll talk tomorrow afternoon!!

 

Would it be bad of me to message my person and let them know that their gift WAS sent out...I think mine is getting hung up in customs or something...because I sent it awhile ago..><;;

 

I am sooo confused. Apparently my parcel is STILL on route to its destination - and has been for the last FOUR DAYS!!! I mean, I know NZ is forever away from everything, but that is just silly!

 

Yey my partner let me know she got everything earlier than expected! So I have both received mine and mine has been received!

Also my husband's sent one has been received, as we got a couple so we got to send ours out in the same package! Just waiting on what he is getting from his swap partner now.

This. Exactly. There are those of us that are fretting over whether or not our package has arrived and was well received. It'd be very sad if it had arrived and people were fretting over a package that'd arrived but the partner didn't post about.

My partner's swap was supposed to have arrived on Monday and I haven't heard anything yet. She's fairly active in this thread so I'm sure that as soon as its there I'll hear about it....I'm just worried that something's happened to it.

 

Lol, getting a bit worried that something happened to the package! It's difficult not knowing on both ends IMO because the swapee doesn't know when to expect things and the swapper can't contact them to let them know if the package is stuck somewhere in international stuff (or if they just sent late!)

I'm thinking maybe towards the end of next week people should be allowed to contact their swap partner and let them know what's up or ask them if they've received their package. Personally, I don't live in the greatest neighborhood to be receiving packages as we have had stolen items before. Not knowing when to expect something is stressing me out pretty bad. Lol. I kinda assumed it'd be in within the week mostly 'cause I forgot we were international. Which is why I suggest do it by the end of this week/start of next week.

Sorry if I'm being a butt head! Lol.

Just wanted to let my partner know that my swap has arrived safely. All of our mail was forwarded to our new business office when we moved and so it was a wonderful surprise to come in on my first day back to work to find a small box for me.

I snuck a peak inside to see that it is the gift for Wing, but I had to get back to work so I wasn't able to open it all the way and see just what's inside. I promise that Wing will send a proper thank you once I get home and he can open it. This has been killer for me to try and put my work space together knowing that there are some goodies just sitting there waiting for me to peek at. I would have sent this note sooner but I just now finished setting up my computer.

So I thank you dear partner (who's name I have not yet discovered sorry) for your gift and you may expect to hear more from us later today. Just wanted you to know that it arrived safely at last.

 

I got my package a while ago! My partner made the cutest toadstools and a little journal! Sadly my puppy decided to eat the toadstools D: But the journal survived! I'll post pictures soon.
