Special Event DoA Birthday Swap!

My package was sent out early this morning!! It should be there within the next few days.



I lost the card that came from my Swap partner saying who they were, been very busy lately cause i just started a full-time job last week. Anyway, I hope you read this! Para loves all her gifts very much! So much so she is wearing her winter coat to show off her new hat and scarf! She doesn;t even care that's it's 70-85 degrees outside. LOL!! I'll hopefully be able to post a picture soon of her gifts. thank you again! If i can find your card, i'll send you a PM too, Thanking you!

 

Mine is going out tomorrow morning via priority so my swap pal will get it by the end of the week! This was fun to put together!

 

Mine will be going out Wednesday morning. I know its past the deadline but I also didn't count on all my money being sucked up by the parking garage where I work. I have to get paid first! I apologize to my swapee!

My package has gone out - the post office lady estimated that it will be there on Friday I really hope my swappee likes it - it cost a fortune to post, lmao.

My mystery parcel, which might be my swap present, is still languishing at the sorting office, but I've asked them to redeliver so it should be with me tomorrow

 

I sent my package Sunday and they said about 6 days to arrive.... Lets hope hard for that XP

 

Mine was sent out yesterday, and I sent it with tracking, but it's not going wicked far, and hopefully will be there on Thursday. Woo, this was fun!

sent mine out monday :3 I couldn't afford tracking since it was international but I'm hoping my partner will post when they receive it in a week or two.

 

All sent out - I am now $53.70 out of pocket! I was tempted to just send it normal airmail, but figured that I really wanted it to get to my swap partner, and I am frigging miles away from everyone (grrrrrs, curse you New Zealand for being so far away from everywhere, and for making me love you so much that I won't leave....)
So yay, don't worry my swapee (not that you know who I am yet!) your parcel is on its way, in the custody of the International Economy Courier. Should arrive in 2 - 6 working days

Mine went regular USPS but my partner is in the US as I am, so I hope she gets it!

 

Collin received his swap gift on Monday, but we just moved so it took a couple days to get to it (and him!).

Forgot to post it, but I sent mine out about a week ago, but it's heading to Canada, so it should be there soon, bout a week more. ^.^ I do hope the little guy that I got likes his present.

I just mailed mine out today. I ran in to some last minute problems that meant I had to start from scratch. I am sorry I am late but hopefully the wait will be worth it!

 

I finally managed to wrest my swap parcel from the post office. Thank you , Jemjoop, for the awesome package - Alice looks super cute in the top, and the tiny robot is so adorable! I'll post pictures in the picture thread right now

Lol, I got a box in today but it was for a different swap. I totally thought it was for this one though.

 

I"m a little worried if my swap partner has gotten their gift or not. It should have gotten to them by now and they haven't posted anything.

 

In case my swap partner is wondering, I haven't received mine yet. I'm not worried, though!

my swap gift had been posted on 5th august, and since this date , when I check on the tracking .... it's always the same : "item was processed and left...."
I know that it is not an easy destination ... but .... they could update their tracking information a little more !!
I'm so impatient that my swap partner received the gift !!

I hope that the delivery will be made soon

 

I am frustrated with NZPost as usual. I sent my gift to my swap partner on the 18th (New Zealand time, so in the US it would have been the 17th) and all the site tells me when I track it today is:

Gyyyaaaarrrggghh. I paid $53 to post it, and it is taking almost two days to get from the central city post office to the office at the airport?? That is at most a 30minute drive, in peak traffic, when it is raining, and they stopped for gas halfway! Rrrrrsss. I hope they clean up their act soon! Delivery is supposed to be in 2 - 6 days!

 

Im just sending out mine today! -sigh- I dont drive.. and my ride decided that what they were doing was wayyy more important.. and told me I had to wait >>; It would have been shipped 3 days ago.. but noooo

Anyway.. I really hope my swap partner likes my stuff ^^~

 

I recieved a pm from my partner. She got hers (I think she's a she). Quite quickly too. Mailed it Thurs eve and she got it Wed. (From US to UK -gotta be a record or somethin.) It was nice to get a PM that it had arrived safely. I shall do the same when my package arrives.
I am enjoying all the photos. It's nice to see everyone so tickled by their pressies.

 

I'm just adding my "didn't get mine yet but not worried" comment to the list here.
My swap partner received her gifts, but no pictures yet... I'm really hoping it fits! (I had to guess with the size)

 

Well it is going to be while for people, so it is good not get worried yet anyone! According to the post office it will be two weeks from Monday 16th when my partner gets hers! You have to allow for shipping time in case your partner is out of country.

 

I think people are just posting that they (including me) haven't received theirs yet because people are starting to post their worries that they have had no "thank you" or "I recieved mine" responses. I don't want the person who's sending to me to think that I got mine, and didn't bother to say thank you!

I'm having a lot of fun watching the photos thread, seeing what everybody else got. This is a great swap!

I have also not received mine. Just a heads up since my partner most likely sent to my former address as I have not received a request for my new addy. All packages sent to me in Douglas, WY will take up to an additional month to be forwarded to my new home in Cheyenne wy. Tracking doesn't seem to be updated after the package has reached its original destination post office. So please, give it a little more time to reach me before you panic. I promise I will post as soon as it arrives.

 

Ah I see! I just wanted to make sure no one was getting concerned yet, and applauding those who were patient!


Eek! I got mine today!! I was not expecting anything so soon, and it was on the porch when I took out the trash! Everything is soooo perfect! I ran and dressed Lavender in her new outfit right away! I will post pics of everything this evening when my camera is done charging. I am super impressed with everything, especially the amazing sketch of Lavender! I am totally hanging it up in my new house! Thanks partner! The funny note did not have a DOA name, so thanks Katrina, I never expected anything so awesome, and I am currently pigging out on the candy, while Lavender commands her new minion around!

 

My Partner should have it in the mail today thats what the lady said when i mailed it. So hopefully you have it

i sent mine out on time, but the post office gliched and delivered it back to me...... so i reposted it a day late. you think the sorters would have noticed the airmail sticker, the customs sticker, and the ID supplied sticker and thought "hey maybe this should go in the overseas pile" rather than "oh look here is a local address, lets send it there, isn't 'from' is an interesting name"........

 

woohoo! My parcel has left New Zealand! This makes me very happy - and also suggests that our post system has some problems with scanning parcels when they should heh.

I can't wait to hear that my partner receives the gifts! I am almost more excited to know that they like them than I am receiving gifts!
