Do you bring your dolls to work?

I have one SD and one on the way, but for this kind of question and the ‘taking your dolls along’ I’d really want a small one. XD I don’t think I’d ever bring one to work or even tell my coworkers about it. I have a deskjob so technically it’s possible, but nope. I already have excentric hobbies that they know about and they accept it but dolls is just something that the normal folks would probably have a really hard time understanding.

 

I would never, because I would find it odd for anyone to bring their hobby to work, regardless of what the hobby is

I did once! I work in a fabric store with some other girls who, while they don't collect BJDs, do like dolls in general and want to see the clothing I make for them. Usually I do just bring the clothing, but I once brought my first girl to work in her carrying bag when those people were working. I only showed her off when there were no customers in the store, and then she went back to her hiding place in the break room for the rest of my shift!

I don’t because I do home visits to families. Too much stuff to carry round anyway and it would take the focus away from issues we need to discuss. Also makes it more “special “ to come home to. I like having them at home waiting for me, along with my 2 cats!

 

i brought my doll to work one time! he sat on a shelf in our soft goods department and was a super fun conversation starter. some people loved him, some really didn’t. i actually caught one of my coworkers talking to him!

i don’t think it will be a regular thing, but the one time definitely made my day better.
