Do you actually own your favourite mould?

No :/ I'd kill for a Unoa Lusis with the Akubi Faceplate. Or even just the Akubi Faceplate with a Buff Headback (So I could put her on another body)

 

No. I wish! My favourite molds are Unoa Sist and Chibi Unoa Lilin, but they are too big for me and too hard to find. They are beautiful but not a size I can handle.

 

I don't yet. There are a few reasons for this.

The first reason being that my favorite mold is currently sold out. *sad face* The other reason being that I am very new to this hobby and decided to order tinies as my first dolls to get a feel for the hobby. They're not even home yet. I already have my third doll lined up, but it won't be my favorite mold this time, either. This one is LE so I want to get one while I can. If my favorite mold becomes available once funds open back up, I'll definitely buy him!

 

I do own my favorite mold which is Souldoll Chiron (Human). There were many dolls that I really liked at first sight but at a second glance, it would always be "eh". This guy though, I was instantly smitten and I love him even now. Dollclan Kien is a second favorite which I also have, but I still think he's not even close to Chiron! xD I don't know how much of this is bias though because they needed to be perfect for certain characters and whether I liked the mold at all wasn't a requirement when picking a sculpt. I actually purposely avoided trying to see if the sculpts I liked (Kien) work because I knew I could be biased and that was why I took so long to find the right sculpt for Souji. I was stupidly avoiding him. xD I was just lucky that Chiron was perfect for Deidara (I literally saw his picture and sat there staring when my boyfriend came over and said "It's like Deidara is just looking out at you from the screen.") and I have yet to see a doll that is more right for Souji than Kien. These sculpts though, also give off that perfect vibe/personality of the character they are meant to represent.

Its minifee juri '11, Its the first sculpt I saw that made me actually want to own a bjd, before that I just wanted to make one and liked looking at them.

I Love Shiwoo's. I actually do have a Minifee Shiwoo, and a Delf Shiwoo on the way! I Love their smirks and the ease of giving them personalities since they seem to have one the second you open the box.
They are somewhat "beginner" dolls as it seems everyone has at least one. But they are just so fun to customize that I couldn't dream of not having mine!

LOL! I do and I don't! I own a lot of my favorite molds but I keep finding more I like!

The ones I have are: Volks Luna and Kurumi. They were both 'grails' for me. Someday I hope to get a Volks Yuu Morisawa, she only just came out but I doubt I'll be getting her anytime soon. And SDGr Lorina fullset would be a dream come true, she is just perfection!

There are a bunch of Volks FCS I'd love to get as well, but too many other dolls keep popping up.

Now I can say that yes, I own my favorite mold. The very first doll that I fell in love with was Iplehouse Jessica and I got it now for myself as a Christmas present. I just couldn't let it go past. Now I'm very happy that I have her.

 

Yes and no! I am waiting to receive my Daydream Lance right now but I still need a Switch Hahwa and Zaoll Luv to have all my perfect molds gathered together. c:

My fave mold is from an OT indie doll company, and is still in pre-production

Yes and no. I have 2 favourites. Mikhaila, who I have and Soom Lig who I don't.

 

Kinda with everyone else on this: yes and no. The first doll I ever wanted and stared at all day was Iplehouse EID Evan. I really liked his face sculpt and thought he was adorable. But then Iple came out with their SID Claude and i was like :O So i got Claude since he was a 'limited' doll while Evan is a regular so I could buy him anytime of the year...although i still havent gotten around to that :'( and I even bought another doll because it was a special edition :P Hopefully I can get Evan next year *crosses fingers*

 

I really love the moulds from Crobidoll and Infiniti Doll. I do own a doll from Crobidoll, but it is pocket size. I am usually fond of SDs so I cannot say that he is my favorite mould of all, but recently I bought Rodnikay from Crobidoll, who is definately my favorite moulds. I also own Chris first limitation from Infiniti Doll.

 

While I do own my favorite msd girl, she's not my favorite over all. My favorite sculpt is Crobidoll Yeon-Ho. One day I will own him.

and I can't afford her at the moment, 'couse, I'm currently saving up for a body to my
floating head.

yes I do..its a Luts Dark Elf Soo. I had one when I first started then sold her...and finally bought one that had my grail artists' {Pepstar} faceup on it..in a style she no longer does and is actually on her website! I was so happy to have the mold back along with a faceup I just love.

I don't think I've been in this hobby long enough to have a favorite mold. I guess if I had to pick one I'd have to say DZ Annie. I kind of fell in love with her as soon as I saw her. I've been looking at her for months now. I just put her on layaway at MoC so I don't technically own her...but I will lol.

 

I have two of my favourite molds: a Narae girl and two Unoa Lusis girls! It's an amazing feeling, owning dolls I've always dreamed of having!

I loved him from the first moment I saw him, but other dolls came in the way (since he was kind of pricey for my budget) and then Unidoll disappeared and I felt like all hope was lost, and regretted not getting him home sooner.
But I found him later! And I bought him five minutes after I found him ahaha Best decision of my life, he's more gorgeous than he looked at pictures I saw of him~

 

Yes! I finally got an Unoa Lusis this year after drooling at pictures for years. My next target is a Dollmore Zaoll Luv.

 

My all time favorite sculpt is Soom Cuprit and I have her on layaway ^_^. Then I discovered Feeple Chloe and >.<. Now I have another expensive doll to my list.

 

minifee Shushu. Lord, I had been collecting so many pics of her, primarily on flickr. Finally broke down and bought one of my very own. I love that face. Even blank I love that face!

 

Leekeworld Mihael has always been my favourite (the mold that dragged me into the hobby, and still my definite favourite), and yup, I own one. I've been thinking about getting a couple more Mihael-heads though, just to have spares should anything happen to mine

 

I do and I don't. I have two favourite sculpts. One is my Narsha Zihu, and the other is the elusive Unoa Chibi Roron cool faceplate.

I own one of my dream dolls and that is Michael (Soom Chalco forest king), I was super happy to find a seller that was selling him because I thought it would honestly take years before I could ever get my hands on him haha. I did want the Emerald kind with the default face up but then I thought that it might actually be more fun with a "personal" face up. My two other dream dolls are Iplehouse Erica (getting her in a year or so, she is in a big story I have in mind but I'm not doing it right now) and Soom Arkose (yes, another limited/sold out). I'm hoping to find the Arkose one day, right now I want him without fantasy parts but I might want him with in the future. I think that the Arkose is my absolute favorite of the three.

 

Absoulutely (misspelled on purpose)! My grail is a silly little Pong, what got me into it and she endlessly cheers me up. And the Pipi with the precious little pouting lips, both FL PukiPuki's.

Let's not forget that adorable Chiwoo who came to my home months earlier than expected because his owner didn't feel the love!

 

Every mold I own was my favourite at one time or another, which is why I bought it in the first place! There are quite a few that I purchased after just obsessing over them for long enough. I fell HARD for Glamour Eve Hosoo, and I own one of those, and I absolutely LOVE the Lati Red Line, so I have nearly the entire lot save for two. Musedoll's SDs and Dollstown's SD boys in dark resin have been my favourites for ages, and I've managed to get my hands on a tan Musedoll Re-Che (I tell everyone who'll listen that I've got one, I think I'm so lucky to own him!) and a basic Re-An who is his sister. I just need to get a basic Re-Che to complete the circle. Sooo happy.

Yes! I own several of my favorite sculpts. Dollshe Saint, Soom Amber, and Soom Heliot are tied for my #1 favorite sculpt and I have them all home with me Technically I would classify all of my dolls as favorites, just on varying levels.

It seems that a lot of people love the Dollshe Saint and I do too but sadly I do not own one. I would love to have him but my doll budget is all used up.

I'm going to. My grail girl is RS Dai. I've got her on lay-a-way. Ditto, my grail boy. I'm working on a lay-a-way for a Saint head.

 

I just got my favorite mold the other day which is a Soul Doll Juhl. I decided to have him as my first doll because I thought I would have regrets if I didn't buy him. There are a few other dolls that I would love to own but I think I'll just stick with my first boy for a while and then think about ordering the other boy I really want.

I'm new, so fortunately haven't seen old or retired sculpts (and thus want to have something I can't). I poked around a lot before buying any dolls but when I saw Dollstown Azura, I had to have her. Then I really liked the Dollstown Elf body, but it doesn't really go with the Azura head... so I ended up getting a body to go with the Azura head and a head to go with the Elf body

 

I own three of mine-so far.. Impldoll Chapman, Angel of Dream Qian and now.. one of my grail dolls.. Doll Leaves Emily. I am sooo excited she is on her way!

 

Well I have a Fairyland Ante and Pongpong which are my favorite small sculpts, and I'm waiting on a Celine one of my favorite Minifee sculpts. My all time favorite sculpt is a Chloe though, and I don't know if I'll ever actually get her. It's like I want her so badly, but whenever I have the money I buy other dolls instead. -_-

 

I don't own my fav mold, DC Agatha - yet. But It's on layaway, so I'll have her home at some point (soon-ish).

 

I do own my favorite mold, and since they don't make her anymore, I feel lucky to still have her. That said, I like a lot of other dolls but don't feel compelled to buy them and put the work into them that their owners do. I enjoy their pictures just fine.

 

Sadly I missed out on the last Zuzu BICHON doll from Luts as she was limited but I hope they will release her again as a different theme for me to buy her.

 

Yep! Elfdoll Vivien and Rita are two of my favs, I own 1 of each and I'm currently waiting on a second Rita head. Iplehouse Kamau and Leekeworld Lionel are my fav boys and I own both of them as well. But I don't currently own a Dollstown J head or a Dollzone Carter head on a Doll Chateau body (both of which are boys heads but I plan to turn into girls) or a Littlefee Bisou boy, so I don't own all of my absolute favs, but I only have three to go! XD

The only reason I don't own them yet is due to funds. I love to look at pics of my truly favourite sculpts, but I wouldn't want to just look at them, I'd want to own them if at all possible.
