Do you actually own your favourite mould?

I usually have a love for the "Old BJD company" that are around for a long time, as I got the familiar feeling of the classic moulds that are around for a long time. But things has changed when it come to Iplehouse!! After their releasing of the EID and SID line, I am so in love with their dolls now. Their bodies based on real human proportion and their faces are even more fantastic~

It was the SID real skin Cherie released as a Nactarcana Circus member which first caught my eyes. My sister now owns a normal skin version of her. For me, things has changed when I spotted the Basic Version Type B EID Carina. I think she is nice as a Light Brown Skin Belly Dancer with SID Theo as a pair. But her Basic normal skin version is just so breath-taking my god(She was once on my sister's list)!! And I actully ordered her on Christmas Day last year and she is beside me now^^

I do like quite a lot of dolls from Iplehouse, which dolls shift around between my sister and I, which I found this quite amusing. While I also adore EID Bichun, Arvid(side lol), SID Felix and Theo. (My sister reli like the real skin version of EID Akando and she is so setermine on him.) She then falls in love with SID Felix after his renewal real skin I supposed? version of him and added him to her wishlist. As browsing around Flickr which I came across SDink's work, a veri gentle and handsome normal skin Theo!! My heart-> and I HAD TO HAVE HIM~ I need money before I can get him!!

(Although he is also soooooo lovely in Light Brown skin as well) So at last Carina and Theo can reunite themselves haha, I think they will be so happi about this. I have been keeping this away from Carina, so that I can give her a good surprise later on^^

The girl that got me into BJD's is my forever unattainable love. Iplehouse EID Yur is by far the most beautiful doll I have ever seen anywhere ever. She is literally what I consider perfection in resin form, but sadly, I feel I will never be able to obtain her. One simple reason; price. I did a mock up order of everything I'd need to get when I ordered her, and the order game to over 1000 bucks. So, there's only ever about 100 bucks in my Yur account and it truly upsets me.

YES!!!! Finally after 2 or more years of wishy washy and lots of money spend on other dolls, I've finally own my Holy Grail doll-Lishe! I love her more every day!

 

I do! I have a favorite girl and a favorite boy, and I managed to find them BOTH last year. Well, "find" in one case meant "save up for," as my dream boy was a Luo in Light Brown and Iple's CDS made that pretty attainable. My girl was absolute luck and good timing - I stumbled onto an untouched Soom Amber on the MP here the week before my birthday. Meant to be!

 

I don't own any of my favorite molds yet, but I hope to soon.

My absolute favorite molds are RS Mei and DZ Brant. Mei is becoming a reality...Brant is still a dream.

My second favorite I don't own, but my bff does, that being RD Shao.

 

Switch Hahwa is my favourite sculpt, and I am very lucky to own two of them considering they're very rare and hard to obtain. ♥

My other favourite sculpt is Volks SD17 Hijikata, and I have him too. :3

 

My first favorite was Peak's wood Goldie but I don't have her yet.
Second favorite was Crobidoll Yeon-ho,also don't own him.

My recent crushes Migidoll Jina and Switch Rusi well I own the Jina and the Rusi head is on it's way.

 

So do you own your favourite mould? I do now! I got him a few weeks ago.
What is it? Blueblood Doll Waltz
And if not, Why? I admired him for over a year before getting him, though I did buy all of the other BBD boys! The only reason I didn't get the one I loved most? Ivory Stardust's Spencer. I. LOVE. THAT. DOLL. Sculpt, character, faceup, eyes, wig, etc. And I just felt that no Waltz would ever come anywhere even close to comparing to Spencer, and if I got one, he'd either get ignored or look like a pitiful copy. So I didn't. Then I found one really cheap on the MP and just had to do it. I talked to Ivory Stardust and we came up with a solution: he's Spencer's cousin, so can look something like him without COPYING him. By the time I got his faceup done and eyes and wig together...he looks almost nothing like Spencer, but I still love him. But I still don't think I'll ever love him like I do Spencer. >.>

 

No, not yet. But I'm saving up for her and I just can't wait! ^.^

 

My favorite Mold is Supia Hael. I don't own her yet but I will in a few months!

 

I do! I absolutely adore Tinyfairy May Valentine, and she's a limited sculpt, and I managed to get her in a limited skin tone as well! Talk about lucky.

 

Not exactly ultimate favourite, but I love the Crobidoll Zack The Ripper sculpt that I sadly wasn't able to get.
I suppose the next attainable one would be Iplehouse Asa, I love her serious look!

Strangely enough, no! My favourite sculpt is Volks Anais/Tae, but I haven't got her yet because I've yet to find the right 'one!' I do own an MSD version of her, f-06, but somehow I don't mind that she is maybe the last doll I will buy.

 

Yes, I do! My favourite mold is FL Luna and I own the PKF and have the LTF on the way to me. But I do hope they will make a PukiPuki Luna one day and maybe a MNF Luna. One can dream

 

Yep. My favorite mold is Dollshe's SA Saint - and he was the third doll I got some four or five odd years ago.

 

I do! My favorite mold is a Soom Amber but I didn't like her ears. Just as I was contemplating buying her anyway, soom released the human version of her! I waited online all day until her sales page went up. She was my very first doll

I have more than one I call my favorite mold...Dollzone Yuu, Dollshe Saint, Soom Heliot, MNF/Delf Shiwoo...and I have them all. ♥

It started with wanting desperately an off-topic Kaye Wiggs blue Koneko which I purchased from a seller in Italy...then I desperately wanted a Luna Tamer so I searched and searched and now have two...then an Angelheim Luka wolfboy...then a Pipos Charlotte (again I now have two)...then a DearMine Priscilla...and so on and so on....Sooo what I am saying is every doll that I want becomes my favorite mold until I have it then I want the next favorite one. I don't see an end to my "favorites" anytime soon.

 

Do you actually own your favorite mold? This question could get complicated because I have several "faves", but I have special feelings for one. I didn't realize how much I loved his sculpt until I saw owner pics. Luckily the company re-issued him and now I have him and am constantly amazed by his beauty.

What is it? Iplehouse Elchanan in Lt. Brown skin.

And if not, why? The other one I lust after, the "one that got away" is Soom Idealian Branon. I will never have him because so many folks want him that he will have the price of the Crown Jewels on his head if he appears on MP.

 

HELLS YEAH, He was my second doll and I love him so so sosososo much. He's a migidoll Ryu. That's all I will say because I feel like I'm gumming up the forum, talking about him so much!

 

Yes I do. I only buy sculpts that are my favourites. And yes, I do have more than one fave!

My favourite doll, hands down, is Crobidoll Lance -- which I have as a girl. (I don't actually consider that sculpt a boy, never have. ) My Lance girl is my most dearly-loved doll and would be the last to go if I had to sell out of the hobby.

My favourite boy is Dollstown Mui, which I also brought home. Up to today I haven't found any other masculine-looking boys that I like anywhere as much.

 

Not yet. My favorite has always been Lucifer from Angell studio and I prefer the old mould rather than the old one. I don't own him yet because of funding. Currently saving for my engagement party and a holiday. I'm tossing up between getting him next or doll love Anona because she is cheaper and I want her as well.

 

Yep! Soom Dia/Sard's been my absolute favorite ever since I first saw them and I have a feeling that won't change so soon. No wonder I have three in total now
Chrom is a really, really close second though and I own him too.

Soom Beryl. i love her so much its crazy. the sun rises and falls on that face. and she is spoiled rotten. she even demanded her own man. she got him too. male sculpt? that is a tie between old saint and sabik. i stare at owner picts of them lol! you have to have dreams right?

 

My number one grail ever... Glorydoll Goth Lucy. Sadly, my search has proved fruitless and she is still not home with me

Still, I'm lucky to have acquired other grails, like Soom Amphibel and Ringdoll Frankenstein and BeYours Kirara ^^

 

My favourite mold is a Doll Zone Anson. I don't own her, though, for the simple fact that I was broke when she came out...

She's my dream doll, and know I will never have her in my hands as my own, so I opt for just looking at owner pictures of her.

 

The most beautiful mould I have found this far is the 5Star Angelo, I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it even if I wasn't planning on collecting 1/3 size dolls. Luckily he wasn't too expensive, so he's on his way now

While I adore all my dolls equally, when it comes to my favorite basic mold ever, it has to be my Dollzone Anson flower girl. When I first laid eyes on her in a news thread here, I was like and thought she was the most amazing sculpt I'd ever seen! I instantly ordered her from DDE on layaway. It turned out to be an excellent decision on my part because these dolls were so difficult to cast and safely ship, Dollzone quite unexpectedly cancelled them soon afterwards.

 

There's a lot of dolls I like and are on my wishlist, but when it comes to my favorite as in I can't even resist seeing every gallery picture of them then yes I do own them! I have at least two I can't resist looking at which is my Luts Abadon and Dollshe Saint. They were the two dolls that I really really wanted when I first started the hobby and eventually got them. I do have some plans in getting another Abadon though since the one I have is a limited dreaming version. I love dreaming molds so it was like THE grail doll when he came out. I felt so lucky to be able to get him when he was released!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fairyland littlefee Elf Ante I adore her!!

I own a little fee but she is a bonnie not an ante

and i own a pukifee ante that IS an ante but not the littlefee size

so best of both worlds i guess but i am trying desperately to get an ante faceplate for m y littlefee anybody know anybody who wants to trade their ante for my bonnie?

I would totally love to have a Soom Chrom...I'm just waiting for him to come up second-hand at a nice price.

I love all my girls, but my absolute no1 fav mold, is SOOM Beyla...

I have a few favourites. My absolute all-time favourite is LeekeWorld Lionel. I do not own one, and probably never will since Leeke isn't selling him any more.

I also really love Dollmore Kyle Reese. I don't own one, but he's on my wish list.

Another of my favourite sculpts is one I do own; ResinSoul Mai. There was something about that gentle little face that tugged at me from the moment I first saw it. So, there in my avatar, you can see my sweet Tyler.

 

I will have to say no.

My absolute favourites would be the Soom Dia, Fairyland siean and Fairyland Lorence.
I don't own either of those three, although I am saving up for them (hoping to find Lorence second hand somewhere, hopefully with default make-up)

And then in a way yes... my favourite company overall id Dream of Doll, and i do own a DOD Lahoo head, so the "favourite" thing is kind of fulfilled, but not in terms of mold, but company rather.


But I do own some really gorgeous molds.

Nobilitydoll Aria and Inifinitidoll Daniel are probably my favourites of the ones I have at home, they are just both so gorgeously sculpted!

Nope :/ sad truth.I wanted a Crobi Lance but because I was somewhat less experienced then I was quite troubled by the unusual body dimension of Crobi and was quite afraid I wouldn't be able to find him clothes.
